This is an amazing chapter
While postponing the full confirmation on Garp's fate may be the best thing by far, I now think that the next time we see Garp, he could either be in a similar position as Mjosgard was, or the Blackbeard Pirates & Cross Guild will announce his public execution to the world which may force the Marines & the Strawhats to join forces to save him!

Also Koby was absolutely amazing. That honesty punch of his was unexpected. I guess it was because of his own hard work and training that he became that strong to be able to blow that giant hand apart.
Or he got coc haki just like every strong person in one piece because we could see lightning on his fist so hard work isn't really on play here because coc haki decided it all or op devil fruits
@@codeless6648 coc haki without hard work is dumb, u need to train alot so u can fight strong dudes (thats how u make your coc stronger), Katakuri have king haki but cant coat(he trained alot? maybe, but maybe he didnt fought strong opponents)
Had the same laugh going out as Roger. Just like White Beard, they knew the true history and can see the future. They know it's in good hands.
Out of the three Whitebeard fail ace die .roger started the great pirate era and Grap save Koby white beard lost his life and ace gave his away also

Slice of otaku is my absolute favorite in this kind of video, bro you may not read this, but this one video finally delivers it to me. The slowly rising intensity of that one punch from Koby, the way you deliver it honestly brought me to literal tears, just to imagine positioning myself in Koby's state, to go 200 times harder than most people, to be burdened with such weight of go BIG or go home, the way you finally delivers Koby's punch is such an emotional moment even for me!
Thanks a lot for being such and amazing narrator, the moment I found Plot Armor with Slice of Otaku voicing it, I kid you not, I almost never read One Piece and One Punch Man ever again, I always waited patiently for your video to come out, it 100% feels like watching an anime. I thank you once again for being such an AMAZING narrator with that beautiful impactful voice you have, keep doing what you're doing cause with your light this world is at least brighter!

Yup, I knew this outcome was coming for Garp. The moment he set foot on the island to rescue Koby. Main reason because of the old GL saying. "Like poetry it rhymes!" Everything happening here with the Blackbeard Pirates feels like it is setting things to be similar to what happened years ago in God's Valley with Garp and Gol D. Roger taking out the Rocks Pirates. Luffy and Koby are going to be the ones to take out the Blackbeard Pirates! With the ending of this chapter with Garp going out with a smile, Oden style. Leaving the future up to Koby and the young sword marines. There is a potential that Garp is still alive thanks to plot armor lol. Anyway, still what a badass way for a legendary hero to go out!
Garp and Oden went out like all members of the D clan, with a smile on their face

@@whetstonee Sabo would make sense as well. The only issue I would have is that Sabo was later introduced into the series while Garp and Ace was introduced in the beginning

Luffy would be devastated if Garp dies. After the egghead island his next target would be Blackbeard, he definitely hates that man since he was the one responsible for Ace's capture by the marines.
Garp did pretty much the same thing for Kolby that Whitebeard ended up doing for Luffy at marineford, laying down his life gladly for the Next Generation

This is the first time we've seen the bb-pirates in a non-smiling state. They know they lost
Seeing this makes me wonder about 2 things. 1) What the hell happened on Egghead 2) Just how strong are smoker and Tashigi considering we haven't seen anything from them in hundreds of chapters in terms of strength. Did Oda just make them background characters even after making Luffy/smoker and Zoro/Tashigi rivals?
Also, do you think Blackbeard is going to sell Garp? To cross guild, and will shanks save him

Koby being able to break that gigantic hand is the very definition of plot armor. That's too much credit given to him.
I know I'm late to the party and somebody probably said this but us finding out Garp was Luffy's grandfather was late in the game but Garp the hero aka The Fist aka the best character in the whole damn story was around early as hell either romance Dawn or a tad bit after it. He was in one of the first cover stories if I'm remembering correctly, Garp falling asleep during the arrest of Axehand Morgan and being the main reason that maniac is still out in the world somewhere free was hilarious

I feel like Perona and Moria's escape would be part of a cover story.
With the little amount of canonical deaths, Garps would be a bit more plausible since he is a major figure like Ace and WB but it would definitely be something they would want done publicly. So i doubt he will die anytime soon.

Chapter called final lesson. Mentor gets left behind saving their student and facing their student. Hm...NEVER LET YOU GO! ITS WHY I DID THEM ALL! FOR A CHANCE AT YOU TO LIVE IN YOUR WAY! LOVE OF YOU IS MY MOST CHERISHED THING! SO STAY ALIVE BRAVELY!
Imagine this blackbeard would capture garp snd then Blackbeard would announce Garp execution and Straw Hat Grand Fleet would sail to Hachinosu to save him. Koby and members of SWORD would arrive on falling ship which Koby tossed himself. Luffy and nakama will face Blackbeard and titan captains but they can't reach Garp as pirates are about to execute him, so Koby will awaken conqueror haki and save him. Luffy then ask Garp if he was a good grandson to which Garp will give him fist of Love and tell of course he was. Koby and Garp are about to skidaddle until Shiryu taunt them by saying that One Piece isn't real, which would make Koby angy and jump on Shiryu. As Shiryu about to kill him, Garp will protect Koby with his body, getting sliced in two halves. These two halves then will be taken by Straw Hats and Blackbeard pirates, which would start a side story of Koby the future Admiral King who will go on the journey to return Garp's remains.
Thus the saga of Two Piece begins.

Im giving the netflix a shot. I honestly loved the Cowboy Bebop one. Regardless of the fan reaction. I do feel Mae being randomly lesbian made no sense and they didnt touch a couple episodes that would have been bangers but it is what it is.

This was a peak shounen chapter its been awhile since had a one piece chapter than felt very shounen-esque other since chapter 1010 unless u count Gear 5, Garp will be ok and will either be rescused or escape offscreen or traded to the WG or cross guild, i cant see oda giving garp a predictable death or another fakeout death after this so if garp dies it will happen whennwe least expect it
