Wow, fantastic views. I was struck by the beauty of those places ... Really a nice walk with nice background music :) Thanks for fantastic sharing Alain😃👍💕
Thank you, although, you may have wanted to miss this one, nice at the start but when we hit the top it was like pea soup and the wind was brutal. Still, all 3 of us enjoyed the day and had a real good laugh, which is what it's all about. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Always happy about getting to the top and half way up I was very optimistic about a clear summit but it was pea soup and the wind was brutal. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Well Steve I hope you have better weather that we got, not only could we not see anything at the top, that wand was brutal and I had to bin a lot of footage. The views over Coniston are amazing on a clear day, so I hope that's what you get. Thanks very much for watching buddy, cheers Alan
Thank you very much for stopping by and on the way to the top was so quiet. Soon changed when we hit the top mind, that wind was brutal lol, cheers Alan
Had a few of them and I have always enjoyed every single one of them real nice people on this one too, despite the weather, we had a great time. Appreciate you stopping by Jason, cheers Alan
Good evening Alan, think this is the exact route Kat and walked many moons ago, looking forward to this one! Absolutely right, take the rough with the smooth, just nice to be out and up! Gratz again on hitting 2k subs! Loving your videos as always, keep um coming! Catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤ ⛰🤗🧭🗺 The village its self is well worth an extremely too, great museum, market Hall and honesty shop 👍
@@treklinda1309 aww yes Linda! Pleased you have found it to be as lovley and welcoming as we did, hope you enjoyed you bath! We love, Kat especially...a boardgame! Catch you soon, Ceri and Kat ☕ ❤
Thanks very much for watching, all 3 of you lol! The good thing about the clag and the (brutal) winds at the top is, it's forced me to invest in new and better mics, as I lost so much footage, as well as previous windy hikes too. I love Coniston Village but I always seen to be whizzing through it, rather than stopping and enjoying it., cheers Alan
Yes, real nice place to visit but the view from the top is superb but when we got there we could not see a thing, which was such a shame. It did not spoil a real fun day and I will go back there but on a clear sunny day. Thank you for watching, cheers Alan
Wow. What a beautiful rugged landscape. I love it when the clouds come into the side of the hill or mountain. It just looks so dramatic. Great video Alan. 🙂🙂
Thank you very much for watching Martin and it was great at the bottom and half way up but you could not see a thing when we first got to the top and the wind was brutal. Still a good day out mind and good to meet up with Ashley and his wife, cheers Alan
To be fair we did all enjoy the day, despite the pea soup at the top and the really bad winds that were battering us, still had plenty of laughs. Thank you very much for watching, cheers Alan
Looked like you all had a good day, despite the weather. The low cloud and mist rolling over the fells made it look more atmospheric. Low Water Tarn is a perfect place for a break, I remember Carol & myself stopping there for our coffee when we did this route. A really good walk. Cheers. Eddie.
You got that right Eddie and Low water was brilliant and all to ourselves too. Mine you that mist keeps following me and on the top the wind was unreal, so much footage binned. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It really is and on a nice clear day I bet the views are stunning, such a shame we did not get one, that mist is following me around, no matter where I go lol. Thanks very much for watching Anthony, cheers Alan
Firstly Alan a big well done on hitting 2K subscribers, nice work! Love the Old Man of Coniston with all the slate, some stunning wainwrights around there! A misty hiking day, but when it breaks it gives you some atmospheric views! Thanks for taking us with you, follow Ashley already, another great RUclipsr😎👍
Thanks very much for watching and your good wishes. First time up there for me and not the best of weather but a good day out, that was a lot of fun too, cheers Alan
Only ever been in that area once before, must try harder to get back over. I love the cloudy conditions just as long as it isnt peeing down........very interesting mining remnants along the way, all in all a great looking area(it all helps to keep you fit Alan even if the views are limited).....nice to see Ashley and his Mrs..........ATB..........Stu/Wendy............👌👍.....Hi to Mrs Metalman
Good of you to watch and loved the misty conditions at the bottom and half way up but it was pea soup at the top and the wind was horrendous. See many a video from here so was really looking forward to the view from the top but guess that will have to wait until next time lol, cheers Alan
Looked like a nice hike! Gosh, so much mist rolling through there looks like you could get lost in it. Beautiful hike! Very cool to be able to meet up with other RUclipsrs and have a great experience together. Well done, Alan!
Thanks very much for stopping by and we almost did get lost in the mist at the top, lost the trail and it all got very crazy for a while. Still, good fun and nice to meet up with a fellow RUclipsr, cheers Alan
I did the walk from Walna Scar Car Park. 29 deg a bit warmer than your walk. It was hard, no shade just searing heat all day. A welcome paddle in the Tarn. Top my goodness what stunning views. Just awesome. Circular walk which worked out at 7.7 miles.
Funny thing was Julie the day before and the day after it was scorching, as soon as I come over we get that lol. Good excuse to go back and do it on another day I suppose, I need to see those clear summit views. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Loved the video Alan. Made me go all MISTY eyed. Shame about the weather but good to see it didn't spoil your day. At times the fog and mist enhanced to views making it look quite atmospheric. Great stuff. Cheers David
Haha, nice one and to be fair it did look real atmospheric at times but man when we first hit the top, it was like pea soup and the wind was real strong, so much so I had to bin a lot of footage. Appreciate you watching David, cheers Alan
Gonna binge a few of yours videos Alan, catch up. Never down the Old man but is on my to do list, Looks a good mountain and not to challenging … famous last words! Always shorts weather!
Glad you enjoyed it Dom and appreciate you stopping by buddy. The chair was great, made a nice chance from sitting on cold rock or wet grass, cheers Alan
Glad you enjoyed it Ged and to be fair, we did too, despite the mist and even the wind which was a mare on the tops. Made me invest in new mics, which I think are the same one you bought a canny while back - Rode Wireless Go. Appreciate you watching buddy, cheers Alan
We had a brilliant time in Scotland Jimmy but had to come home 2 days later when Mrs MM got a nasty cold and could not sleep, so we set off back at 02.50 am, which was a long and dark drive back. After a week I thought I had missed it but ended up with 4 days in bed with it last week and still got a runny nose and cough now. Apart from all that - all good lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Great video . Love Coniston Old Man . I had similar cloud all the way up when I did it but it was clear at the summit and got the treat of an amazing Broken Spectre .
Nice one, for us the higher we went the worse the weather became and like pea soup at the top and the wind was really bad, so I had to bin some footage but it has made me invest in better mics. First time there for me so I will be back with better weather and better mics lol. Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment, real good of you, cheers Alan
Great video Alan, with some interesting people!! Well put together. It was a great route and a fairly easy one to follow. The title of team leader makes me feel as if I know what I'm doing but we are all learning and getting better at it. Enjoyed all the chat, craic, and banter, we talked so much that the day just flew in. We will be back, hopefully in May22 for another big adventure. Keep up the good work, thanks too for the mention and sharing the link. I know Andrea got to all 5 peaks first, so perhaps next time we should hold her back at the tops!! Regards, Ashley
Good day, really enjoyed it, despite the weather and that wind on the tops, which made me lose a canny bit of footage. Good thing is it made me invest in new mics, which should solve the audio problems once and for all. Thanks very much for watching and the invite, cheers Alan
Enjoyed that Alan, Your still a fit lad Alan my knackered knees can't take walks like this anymore. On days like this it looked like you could be on another planet.with the rugged landscape. All the best mate
Funny enough Nic (unsure if you saw it) I did a video on hikers knees in the very first lock down, as I was really struggling with both of mine but one in particular. It got to the stage when I was doing a local flat walk, I had to come back in after a mile of so, I was in so much pain. In the video I talked about what I did and the tablets I was going to be taking to hopefully solve the problem. Been taking them all, on a daily basis, ever since and they have worked a treat for me, no knee pain at all now, so I should really do a follow up video. If you have not done so, check it out and fingers crossed it may well benefit your knees too, cheers Alan
Thanks for watching Marc and funny enough, I have had this on my to do list for years and despite the weather, still really enjoyed the day and too to meet up with Ashely as well, cheers Alan
Very true and going to be a clear summy day next time lol. Still a very enjoyable day and we had a lot of laughs but as well as the mist, that wind was brutal at the top. Thanks very much for watching and commenting, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Dang, Alan, you were literally on cloud 9! LOL. Hiking through the clouds is pretty cool. Great views once it cleared out a bit. Those stone structure ruins were cool to see. Nice hike and congrats. Well done. Too bad the Mrs. couldn't join you. Have a great day.
It was great at the bottom but when we hit the top it was like pea soup and the wind was brutal but still, we all still enjoyed it and had a great laugh. Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the weekend, cheers Alan
I'm not fan of hiking in such conditions, but I have to admit, the gloomy weather gives the scenery some special appeal. As you said, it looks like a scenery from Lord of the Rings. Thanks for sharing another wonderful hike Alan! I enjoyed the video a lot. Cheers, Urska
Thank you for watching Urska and me too, I was hoping the mist would clear the higher we went but all that happened, it got worse, so when we reached the summit, you could not see a thing. Either way, a good excuse to go back one day and we all ended up having a real good laugh all the time we were out, cheers Alan
Old Man of Coniston is one that I am looking forward to doing but it will be difficult to leave the old mine site. It is great when you get the views but the clouds add atmosphere and it is just as nice walking through the clouds as they roll across your pathway. Looking forward to seeing how the new microphone turns out for you. Take care, Alice
I love the views from the bottom, when we were setting off but as soon as we hit the top the wind was unbelievable and the views unfortunately, none existent. The good thing is it has forced my hand on buying new mics, so hopefully, this will be a big improvement on the audio. Thank you very much for watching, cheers Alan
The amount of times I have set off to do this exact same walk and then did something else, when I got to the Northern Fells is unbelievable. At least this time having a meet up, I had to go and pleased I did, despite the mist and the winds on top, we all had a good day and a good laugh too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
First, Congratulations on 2,000+!! Enjoyed the hike today, it really does look magical with the fog and clouds sitting in the valley and rolling in and out. Nice ups and downs on this one, and so many interesting rocks. Fun collab with Ashley Arnold and wife- I'll go visit their channel. Have fun w Mrs. Metalman!! See you again soon! ~ Jennifer
It sure was a fun day out we had a lot of laughs and the misty conditions at the bottom were fine but it was like pea soup when we got to the top and wind was brutal, so I will go back there again but in better weather. Thanks very much for stopping by, appreciate it, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN It will be fun for you to go back with sunny skies. I was just thinking after I finished watching, one of the things I like to say, “hikers hike!” We still go out even in rainy or windy weather … makes us appreciate the sun more!! Lol
We still had a good day and a good laugh as well, so despite the mist never really leaving us, real good day for a meet up. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Brilliant hike, well done even when wet the lakes never fail to impress. Can’t wait to tackle some hikes in October when I hit the Lake District assuming I can get fuel for my car that is lol panic buyers have drained Cornwall dry atm. Great video
Funny enough I was supposed to be going to the Lakes today but thought I better leave it, with the fuel problem. Hopefully it will be all over when you come up Matt and you get better weather than we did lol. Thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment, good of you, cheers Alan
Loved that low cloud Alan - really made it an interesting walk up. Reminiscent of Messrs Saunders & Galloway at the top in the clag, when they completed their Wainwright’s. Good excuse though like you say, to go back again like they did sometime as it’s such a great walk. Cheers Stuart
Thanks very much for watching Stuart and yes, I will go back and do that again, as I know the views are amazing over Coniston, so felt like we missed out a bit. We still had a good days walking and a good laugh, so happy with that. Cheers Alan
Not the types of boulders I'd want to trip and fall on...those looked like some sharp edges! ....not that I would really want to trip and fall on any boulder. Oh that misty fog, always trying to hide the epic views! At least you had a clearing near the lake! Lol, I need to get an external mic too...the GoPro ones kind of stink...but I have yet to throw money at it. The mist rolling it is pretty sweet and hooray views opening up a bit! Another excellent adventure sir! Keep on keeping on! - Shane
I am still on the Hero 7 Black and do have an external mic for it, which is fine in wind but it was brutal at the top and it did not cope well at all, so I had to bin a lot of footage and on my previous Ben Nevis video too. I have been thinking of upgrading my mic to the RODE Wireless GO, which I have just done and also invested in a proper Lavalier mic as well, so hopefully that will solve the problem no matter how strong the wind is. Thanks very much for watching Shane, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Better than me at least haha! Thinking of updating to a later model? I still use the 7 as well and my mic keeps making a random popping noise. Getting a bit annoying and hard to edit them all out. :)
The distant view at the start is stunning. I would be timelapsing that and probably then running out of time and not getting to the top of the fell!!! The dramatic weather is really perfect and makes everything look super epic (apart from when you get to the top and cant see anything :) ) Excellent video as always. I wish I was there!!! cheers from barnyz
Aye, it was like pea soup at the top and the wind was insane, I had to bin a lot of footage but it has make me invest in mew mics, which should solve any future audio issues. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Great hike Alan, we've been meaning to do this one for a while so i reckon we'll be doing it soon after watching this 😀 I'm already subscribed to Ashley's channel and he (and his wife) has some very good videos 👌 Cheers Chris 👍
Well fingers crossed you get better weather Chris, that wind at the top was brutal, had to bin a load of footage but it has made me invest in new mics, which should solve the problem. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
It's really nice Lezley and on a clear day, the views over Coniston are amazing, just wish we had that clear day lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Sorry i watched this other day with hubby as his a fan of yours too,me being a dory forgot to comment sorry. stay safe, and i would love to do that walk one day debs.x
I need to do it again Debs as the views (on a clear day) are amazing but despite the mist, we all had a real good day out as well as a good laugh too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Bloody hell Alan, I'm struggling to keep up with you these last couple of week lol, Alan Fog Man Outdoors does have a ring to it 😂 Another great adventure, well in mate 👍
That fog and mist just will not leave me along, getting a complex about it, I need sun lol! Still a real fun day, despite the mist and rain, I was blaming Tonty for it anyway! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Lord of the rings is my absolute fav! Your so right 😃 the cloud inversions were beautiful, a great route you planned there, one I haven’t got round to doing yet x I need to get back out there soon! That chair has really come in handy hadn’t it x
It was so nice to have a comfortable seat instead of sitting on wet grass or cold rock and I loved the mist when we were going up but the top was a mare, pea soup and brutal winds. I will do this route again at some point but in the sun, as the views are amazing when you can see them. Thanks for watching Kerry, cheers Alan
This was fab Alan! Sometimes fog and low cloud is so much more magical but I’M seeing a pattern…..everyone else steals your sunshine 🤣 Brew & a Chew!!! Omg I love this…..is it a County Durham thing?….. never heard it before but I’m stealing that as well as your sunshine….just kidding if you let me have brew & a chew I’ll give you the sunshine back 🤣🤪😝 love your bandana! Great seat! Will check out Ashley’s channel! Super vid! Thanks for sharing 👍❤️💋
Funny thing is, Ashley always brings the good weather with him when they holiday in the Lakes and true to form it was glorious the day before and the day after our meet up, so I was hoping for more of the same.....We never say a thing on the Old Man, so I will go back on a nice day and film it again. Real good of you to watch, cheers Alan
Wow, so atmospheric, lovely inversion, those slate mine works really capture the imagination! We will be uploading this in a few weeks, wanted to watch yours first to get some clues as to how edit should go! You dared to park at the scary car park at Walna Scar. We have driven some mental roads across Europe and America but that one we will never do, all credit to you! ♥️
It was an experience going up and down that road with my fingers crossed all the time nothing was coming the other way lol. Ashely and his wife come over every year for a couple of weeks and always get good weather, unless they hike with me! Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN we always get lucky with road side parking in Coniston, that road up scares me to bits! You do seem to be quite jinxed with the weather! Concerning..
Glad you enjoyed it Alan and appreciate you watching buddy. Not the best one for views but it as great to meet up with Ashley and his wife for the first time, cheers Alan
It's a real nice one Katy and from the car park, the paths up are real easy to see and follow. We did 5 summits but only 3 of them are Wainwrights and on a clear day the views are amazing over Coniston and on to Windermere. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment, cheers Alan
Looked like a good day out Alan , it was a shame about the mist spoiling the views for you . It must be because you had that chair to sit on ; ) At least you got fabulous views when you went up the Ben : ) for some reason it has not allowed me to comment on that one , I have tried three times........ Silly Y T !!!! Thanks for sharing Take care : ) Teddy
That mist seems to be following me about but never really spoilt a fun day and nice to meet up with fellow RUclipsrs too. Thank you very much for watching and also trying to comment, cheers Alan
That mist seems to be following me about, even had it in Scotland 2 weeks ago as well lol. Still canny to get out and also meet up with another RUclipsr as well. Appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
The mist can real make things magical but I have had it for the last 4 times I have been out, so getting a bit fed up with it now lol. Thank you very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
The mists weren't too bad this time around, at least you were able to get some shots showing what was around on the way up. The mists coming in and out gives it a bit more drama too, doesn't it? The mine ruins were pretty neat. Not sure if we've mentioned this before, but you really know how to up your hiking game with your music choices. That was a bit of wind up there no? Love a good stiff wind at the summit, really helps clear the sweat. You use a GoPro 8 right? We grabbed some little dead cat patches off amazon for our 9, and it's done wonders for the wind noise. The on board wind cancellation is crap, and we saw testing done on the media mod, but that seems to cause the overall audio quality to drop quite a bit. Camera looks a little funny with the 3 puffy bits attached to it on the mics, but no one sees the camera on videos. 😁 As usual Alan Fogman, that was a stunner of a hike! Too bad the Mrs had to miss that one.
I still used the Hero 7 Black and have got an external mic for it, with additional wind muff but the wind was insane at the top when we first got there and I ended up binning a bit of footage because of that. I have invested in (oh my poor bank account) the RODE Wireless Go mics and also bought a proper Lavalier mic to go with it, so that should hopefully sort out any audio issues in the future, no matter how strong the wind is. Real good of you to stop by and comment, appreciate it, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN The Rode Wireless is amazing. It was suggested to us by another channel, and we know a few that use it. The quality is outstanding, but when I saw the price I had to pick my jaw off my desk. Also would need to buy the GoPro media mod to attach them to the camera. Decided to drop $25 on dead cats to cover the default mics on another recommendation, and those have worked brilliantly, though I've had to replace them a couple times as they don't like getting dunked in water. Thankfully, they come in packs of 10. I still want the Rode Wireless, but we have SOOOO much gear to buy still. Winter is coming.
Seems like we have the same luck with views in the Lakes. Bloody mist! 😆. Having said that, there is something atmospheric about the mist. It’s all about getting out though isn’t it? Any time spent in the Lakes is a great time 👍
Get a new mic tight wad! 🤣 we haven’t got our first yet! Lovely summit shots ♥️ really enjoy watching videos from your channel, we can proper relax into them! Happy to have so much content to backtrack through! Will check out Ashleys channel! 👍

Yeah the weather was definitely not the greatest nor was it very clear. You definitely want to come back and do this another time. But on a good note you did get some exercise and Conquer a new Fell.
Definitely and we did have a fun day too, real good laugh all the way around but yes, I will have to go back there, as the views (on a clear day) are superb. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan

Looks like a amazing place my friend
Thanks for visiting John and a first visit there for us all, shame about the mist but you cannot have everything, cheers Alan
looking forward to this one Alan, one of our favorite hikes and areas in the Lakes ❤☕👍
Just a shame the views were not better for us and you but cannot have sunshine every day lol, cheers Alan
You have a wonderful upcoming week
Thank you, you too, real nice of you, appreciate it, cheers Alan
Howdy Mr and Mrs Metalman💜I’ve been walking the beach, thank you for your inspiration
Have fun, the beach sounds great, it blowing a gale here today lol, cheers Alan
Gonna binge a few of yours videos Alan, catch up. Never down the Old man but is on my to do list, Looks a good mountain and not to challenging … famous last words!
Always shorts weather!
That's dam good of you and very much appreciated. Merry Christmas to you both, cheers Alan
Awesome hike brother! A view, brew and chew! I love it! I saw the chair setup! Sweet! Lol on the mic! 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing brother!
Glad you enjoyed it Dom and appreciate you stopping by buddy. The chair was great, made a nice chance from sitting on cold rock or wet grass, cheers Alan
We enjoyed this one Alan I quite like the mist when it comes and goes like that, definitely one for the future, atvb Ged and Shan 👌👍😁
Glad you enjoyed it Ged and to be fair, we did too, despite the mist and even the wind which was a mare on the tops. Made me invest in new mics, which I think are the same one you bought a canny while back - Rode Wireless Go. Appreciate you watching buddy, cheers Alan
Great walk Alan the opening shot was stunning mate hope you and your wife had a great time away mate atvb jimmy 😎😎👍👍
@@AlanMETALMAN Alan, there are great walks in Ireland, North and South, you should come some day, I know 2 goodish guides!! Regards, Ashley
@@AlanMETALMAN Cheers Alan will check it out thanks.
Very atmospheric day up there, going to do that one next year im there.
Great vid as always.
Thanks for watching Marc and funny enough, I have had this on my to do list for years and despite the weather, still really enjoyed the day and too to meet up with Ashely as well, cheers Alan
It was just like that when we went up couldn’t see a thing from the top like you said gives you a reason to go again 👍
Very true and going to be a clear summy day next time lol. Still a very enjoyable day and we had a lot of laughs but as well as the mist, that wind was brutal at the top. Thanks very much for watching and commenting, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Wish i had your energy Alan...lol like 64 with a full view as always
It's gone mate, 8 days of this cold from hell has drained me, thankfully, starting to feel a bit more human today, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Awesome you still had great time despite the weather. Sometimes all you need is good company. :) Take care!
Mint!!
Thanks Tony, cheers Alan
Old Man of Coniston is one that I am looking forward to doing but it will be difficult to leave the old mine site. It is great when you get the views but the clouds add atmosphere and it is just as nice walking through the clouds as they roll across your pathway. Looking forward to seeing how the new microphone turns out for you. Take care, Alice
I love the views from the bottom, when we were setting off but as soon as we hit the top the wind was unbelievable and the views unfortunately, none existent. The good thing is it has forced my hand on buying new mics, so hopefully, this will be a big improvement on the audio. Thank you very much for watching, cheers Alan
great view
Thank you and thank you very much for watching and leaving a comment, good of you, cheers Alan
The Old Man on Coniston 😉. Looked a good day. It's a shame it takes so long to get there 👍
The amount of times I have set off to do this exact same walk and then did something else, when I got to the Northern Fells is unbelievable.
Lol
Nice one Alan! Shame the mist never really cleared, but it still looked fantastic! All the best👍
Very Nice ❤️❣️💕💗💞 Friend
Many many thanks, real good of you to watch and comment, very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Nice one Alan👍
Thanks Col, good of you to watch buddy, even though there was not a great deal t see lol, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN as long as your getting out there Alan👍
Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
looked a good loop walk
It's really nice Lezley and on a clear day, the views over Coniston are amazing, just wish we had that clear day lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Sorry i watched this other day with hubby as his a fan of yours too,me being a dory forgot to comment sorry. stay safe, and i would love to do that walk one day debs.x
I need to do it again Debs as the views (on a clear day) are amazing but despite the mist, we all had a real good day out as well as a good laugh too. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Big like stay connected new friend 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment, real good of you and very much appreciated, cheers Alan
Great video. Yeah that’s a great walk. Shame the views weren’t brilliant but still great to get out on the fells :-)
Glad you enjoyed it Alan and appreciate you watching buddy. Not the best one for views but it as great to meet up with Ashley and his wife for the first time, cheers Alan
Woooo! I see the mist didnt want to let you have views!!! 😂 Coniston is still on my Wainwright list! 〽️✔
Have a great day !
Thanks for the visit, you too! Cheers Alan
Look at them views mate 😂 Well at least it cleared when you on the top for a minute👌
That mist seems to be following me about, even had it in Scotland 2 weeks ago as well lol. Still canny to get out and also meet up with another RUclipsr as well. Appreciate you watching, cheers Alan
The fog is cool. I was thinking Lord of the rings just before you even said it. 😁
Thanks very much for watching and I really appreciate your kind words. I had watched Ashley's channel before but it was a first meet up with him and despite the weather, we all had a real fun day, cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN looked like a fantastic day out, the mist can add a lot to a hike!

First time for me meeting them in too, yeah I have watched their channel for a while but always nice to meet up proper and we ended up having a real fun day, despite all the mist. Thank you very much for stopping by, cheers Alan
Hello bos good morning
Good morning to you too, thank you for stopping by, cheers Alan
Yeah the weather was definitely not the greatest nor was it very clear. You definitely want to come back and do this another time. But on a good note you did get some exercise and Conquer a new Fell.
Definitely and we did have a fun day too, real good laugh all the way around but yes, I will have to go back there, as the views (on a clear day) are superb. Appreciate you stopping by, cheers Alan

Congrats on 2K Alan. 66............. That's still twisting my head - I could un-subscribe I swear 🤣🤣
Haha, thanks Lee, been wanting to do the Old Man of Coniston for years, trust me to pick a day when yiu cannot see your hand in front of you lol. Thanks very much for watching, cheers Alan
Better late than never! ;-) Congrats on 2K!! And the hike was pretty good exclamation point for the achievement.... I liked the hike, the views, and most of all that it was so enjoyable, great views even if the weather does not always cooperate 100%... Have fun & keep goin'..
Greetings from California...
Thanks so much! Real nice of you to stop by and funny enough, the day before and the day after the weather has fantastic, trust us to get the dud day lol, cheers Alan

Thank you very much for watching and your kind words, cheers Alan
I agree :-)
