I would like to note one annoying thing. On the Hero Wars Guide page, the schedule page does not always show the events that the Hero Wars announce. On the Hero Wars Community page, the events under the Next Week Events posts are sometimes missing from the Hero Wars Guide schedule. It would be worth adding these events that Hero Wars announces to the schedule.
Thank You HWG for your post about ToE cheaters. I've been doing ToE for the past 8 months. Regards to this cheating aspect, they are really taking away the will of some players to actually try every week, like myself. When you posted the list, one way the can monitor is that these same cheaters keep on appearing at the top. I've noticed ever since the announcement, some of players who used to show up all the time have are not at the top. Is that a coincidence, I think not. There is another one you could point out as highly suspicious all the time. Personally, i've tried hard to get into the top 10 (i've done in once) the right way. Its highly unlikely that these same players will get amazing scores every week. Some of them don't even hide it that they are doing it. I am really hoping Nexters will doing something about this. This type cheating has gotten out of hand for ToE and the rest, give some of us a chance who aren't cheating!!!
ToE score also depends on how u leveled up ur top 5 titans. If ur dark/light titans r max or near max, u have no chance of being in top 10 of ToE ranking, since ur opponents in stages 1~5 will prolly be so hard that you will lose points no matter what. Those that r at the top regularly have easy stages 1~5 that they r able to get perfect defense every time. The rest is just following the list of defense to use everyday.
@@jiyv I've done a perfect week defense points up to the Lords on multiple occasions. This is where I will have problems with the cheating program where they score high for Mon - Fri ... Vs Lords. A bad Lords will knock you out of the top 10. Take a look every week and you will see names that are still appearing. Now if you asking me too are you using the correct Lords defense, YES I am. If your telling me, they are lucky every week achieving the best Lords score or close to it, I'd say they are full of BS
It seems that the scripts can also bypass some of the proposed fixes that you propose. I think this scripting is all inevitable for a game that conducts its operations on the local client instead of the server.
Agreed. If they fixed this by conducting the operations in their server, it would likely put such a strain on the server that it would severely lag or crash, making the game unplayable. Nexters can't really do much, other than work to detect cheating and to deter cheating by enforcing and implementing consistent consequences.
it can actually be easier than you think. all those soft are getting data from the client. so if the game will change so that enemy attacking teams will not be sent to the client before their defending team is locked and sent to the server, that will remove visibility that makes the difference and return it more to the luck side. And since you can redo battles against enemy defending team, that visibility does not matter. Because all those second battles are auto battles anyway (happening on the server side), it should not increase the dataflow in the game. From all those cheating options, this one is actually the easiest to tackle.
how fucked up someone must be to cheat in a free time game... this should be fun not some holy gral... I would feel sad to cheat and not to use my brains to get better results
Some people have sunk tens of thousands of dollars into this game, and feel entitled to win. Others feel at a disadvantage in the game, due to not being able to outspend those people, and feel entitled to try to even the playing field by cheating. For those of us who just want to have fun enjoying the game, it's best to just ignore the cheaters and not bother to spend any money at all on the game.

The game is extremely tedious with lots of boring routines, if scripts are prohibited people will leave in droves.
