This video shattered my worldview... I had thought Katelyn was the more trained artist... and had the aesthetics locked down... but then when I saw this... it was like roles had completely reversed... Katelyn's aethetic was strong clashing colors and CHAOS.... and Evan's was orderly and matching and checking all the necessary boxes for a complete home. Poll be damned... Sorry Katelyn, but it's clear you need Evan, else you might be living on the floor of a chaos house with only cats. 😂
Yes it was like I was in bizarro world and Katelyn and Evan switched bodies LOL the CHAOS! I'm sorry poll but Evan was a clear winner, he not only finished the entire house and garden but his rooms didn't clash.
She did say if she was doing this in real life that she would go evan's route, though. Artistic liberties also means more creative freedom when given the choice - and I think Katelyn tends towards maximalist sometimes because she likes more color. It was only the kitchen and dining room that clashed, and we know that she was doing those rooms last - if she had been given more time, I think she might have had a less chaotic home. The time limit really stressed her out the same way it would me. Evan chose the safer, more boring route - plain, modern, minimalist. it was easier to pull off because he wasn't trying to do as much with it.
Katelyns house seems a lot more impractical. Especially that the living room area is between the dining table and the kitchen. I'm sorry, but this time Evan clearly wins in my opinion. (Although I do like the cat room energy 😉)
Gotta say I was confident in Katelyn at 1st because her eye for design always knocks it out of the park but when an hour went by and she was still on the cat room I started panicking 😂Great job on pulling the house together for a cohesive and well designed look inside and out Evan! And ofc props to both of you for making yet another great episode of house flipper 💖
Something I find interesting is that Katelyn put in a lot of the little decor items; little lights, the knife block in the kitchen, that sort of thing. I think I only saw one of those items in Evans house, and that was the plate of... something... on the dining room table. It makes total sense for them, Evan is all about efficiency and Katelyn is much more detail oriented... It's why they work so well together
Listen, Katelyn has many wonderful design elements to hers HOWEVER as a whole unit of a house it really does feel like they are competing against each other rather than pairing smoothly. Evan, on the other hand, had very nice parallels that really added to each other and connected well throughout the entire house *cough* and was finished *cough* so polls be damned Evan was the CLEAR winner here (Sorry Katelyn I still love you but not the best🥺)
House flipper video idea/challenge: Don’t sell anything but clean it all up and try to make it look as good as possible with the old stuff plus new stuff lol
man, I've been playing house flipper nonstop for about two weeks now and the things I could do with this house in 2.5 hours... I want the opportunity to go head to head to head with them 😂
I think they definitely should have made sure Kaitlyn understood all the game play mechanisms before they started. Even didn't have to waste any time figuring them out and that gave him at least a little bit of an advantage.
Katelyn was channeling her inner Barbie 👌 I will say, Evan’s house is definitely more cohesive and modern, but I think some more art would’ve gone a long way
While Evan’s is finished it is quite lifeless due to the lack of plants it also feels very empty it just doesn’t feel very lived in and Katelyn creates my dream of having an entire room to joob that makes up for the unfinished room and messy yard also to door-less bathroom is bold but I think to poop nook makes up for it also her house has much more detail from the wallpapers and accent walls throughout the house whereas Evan’s is sort of plain so my vote goes to Katelyn congratulations to you both
Evan's colors were very traditional, and as a result, rather boring (I say this even though my own house is basically that same brown wood floor with white trim and light greyish brown wall combination.. yes it works, but yes it's also kind of plain) If you are going to do the brown floor with brown walls, you need to add a few accent walls to break up the sameness. Still, Evan's concept was more cohesive, and his color palette did work well throughout the house, (because that is precisely what that "safe" style is for.) Evan's individual item selection was also more stylish and consistent, other than the sofa, which severely clashed with the rest of the styling. Also, he had a very nice yard with lots of high-value extras. Unfortunately, the lack of a back door is a bit of a fire hazard, though at least it isn't against the International Residential Code. It is still very unusual to only have a front door, however, and probably would make the house very difficult to sell. Katelyn's color choices were much more bold, though also less cohesive. I liked the dark walls in the entrance with the brown floor, and the dark floor in the bathroom, though the walls in there were less bold, so they didn't sell it as well, particularly with no door on the bathroom... Blue kitchen, green dining room, pink cat room, dark entryway.. just too much in-fighting among the color choices. The kitchen was one of my favorite areas, and it would have been better if it had flowed better with the dining area. Perhaps some bold wall paper could have worked in the dining area if it was a better fit with the rest of the house. Katelyn's unfinished room is very authentic, given how much money you spent on renovating the rest of the house... of COURSE there is going to be an unfinished room. Also, Katelyn's house is very modern and hip, with a "wildscape" lawn, which is all the rage nowadays. That all said, the absolute love shown to her kitty cat in the cat room clinches the victory for Katelyn in my opinion. Nothing in Evan's house compares at all to the masterpiece that is the kitteh room.
Hi! I love your vids so much yere like the only people I watch on RUclips and I would love if ye played some recroom! If ye do I have some game recenmondations(Recroom is a game which people on it make there own games)...... •Horror= autopsy of Jane doe or face your fears the ride 1 or 2 (both are good!) •Pvp=paintball •Escape room = escape the cube You dont have to do these games though Also it is a public, multiplayer game but you have an option to play private. You can play it on VR, PC, Xbox, PlayStation and I think Nintendo.... Great game and it's free on all devices! Hope ye atleast look into it! 😁 -Evie
Evan's is more complete overall, but what Katelyn got done is * aesthetic *
you can definitely see how our different strategies manifested!
Like the aesthetic open toilet and the aesthetic one piece of wall paper and the aesthetic paint cans on the aesthetic unpainted bedroom

Evan won in my book too haha

There's something so fun about watching them doing the house flipper stuff.
Something I find interesting is that Katelyn put in a lot of the little decor items; little lights, the knife block in the kitchen, that sort of thing. I really love these house flipper videos! Watching something slowly come together is so nice.
No door on the bathroom is a cat design decision 😹
hahaha true, Joob would love it!

House flipper video idea/challenge:

I got so happy hearing the Thing Of The Week music from the podcast at 10:40
man, I've been playing house flipper nonstop for about two weeks now and the things I could do with this house in 2.5 hours... I want the opportunity to go head to head to head with them 😂
oh man katelyn got lost in the sauce with the cat room 😂😂😂
Design wise I think Katelyn won but because she didn’t finish I feel like it’s only fair to give the win to Evan
A real enemy wouldn't tell you the controls, haha.
That poll was stolen, lol.
I’m rooting for Evan and also, THIRD
Evan very clearly won this one 🤣
Cat room makes Katelyn the winner for me 😂❤
“Oh no. I sold the front door!” 😂😂
Watching this instead of getting ready for work lol
Awesome both of you. The cat bed is all i need 😂
Curious to see how y’all’s taste actually differs 😸
Also would love to see you guys try to get through Super Bunny Man!
Beans house is like a house for sale. The basics are there but it doesn’t feel lived in. Katelyns has character, very personalized 😂
Katelyn: playing it safe and starting with a joob room
This was fun!!!
Houseflipper is on sale on Steam!!
Man! This was NOT fair to Katelyn!
I LOVE YOUR HOUSE FLIPPER VIDEOS
Why is Katelyn me spending most of her time making a room for the cat 😭

Watching this instead of work meeting.
I'll take any rejection of capitalism- so hell yeah, dude. Solid priorities, fr.
Yes😊
Beautiful houses. Keep up the amazing content ❤
So spooky season is on the horizon…. Spooky house contest? …. Pretty please?
I love hw Kate immediately go strait to Joobie's room, and then proceeds to not even TOUCH the bedroom😂🙃
I think they definitely should have made sure Kaitlyn understood all the game play mechanisms before they started. Even didn't have to waste any time figuring them out and that gave him at least a little bit of an advantage.
"A full RGB gaming setup, lots of storage-"
"I devoted an entire room to the cat."
There are two wolves inside of me
Katelyn was channeling her inner Barbie 👌 I will say, Evan’s house is definitely more cohesive and modern, but I think some more art would’ve gone a long way

@@BlackDogsAndLadybugs aww thank you so much 😊
It always throws me off when the editor inverts their faces 😂
The editor is too good
Yeah… Evan should have won lmao
If you still go to your stater house you can use tiles on the walls and Chang the the look a bit
The reason Katelyn won is because of the cat room! Joob needed a room! And Even didn’t have a Joob room!
Did u get my letter??
It feels wrong to be this early to the video 😂

Evan's house looks like the staged pictures of apartments I've looked at.
Cat room wins.
No back door? Wouldn’t pass inspection. Automatic loss. Even in pretend world.
I really want to see ya'll play Dead by Daylight!

Evan deserved to lose because he betrayed her with faulty information on how to play the game haha
Neah, cleary Evan won by far, but, you two together just complete each other (That's a balanced mariage, when both contribute equally)
pls pls play slimerancher I will pay u to do it
All those simps voted for Katelyn 😂
Evan was robbed! His house was clearly superior, Katelyn's house didn't even have a bedroom or a functional yard!
Katlins is bettr
I don't care😅
:( too much house flipper
