It never ceases to amaze me how you manage to ride down rutted trails at those speeds with total control pal, I can’t help but to clench my arse cheeks while I’m watching because I’m almost certain I’d be OTB, job well done buddy 🙏🙏🫡🫡
Well from what I’m seeing, it is skill 🫡 I know for certain it would have gone tits up for me long ago, it happened on Jacobs Ladder and resulted in a broken thumb, I was lucky as it could have been much much worse, I did 6 weeks of MTB’ing in the Peak District so it was worse ☹️☹️
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Haha I’ll take the compliment cheers buddy 👍🏼 Aye I’ve broken bones and been knocked unconscious a few times it’s all part and parcel of this sport we love mate 😍
Flipping eck, I don’t want any of those kind of injuries, I suppose I’m too over cautious and anal about crashing to the extent that it spoils my riding, when I retire I might be more cavalier about it because if I break any bones I won’t have to worry about being off work again, bloody work, there should be a law against it 😉
@@yorkneytrailrider1751 Aye it’s to a point where there’s a fine balance between riding and crashing I guess 😂 I’m old enough now to ride within my limits and try not to take too many risks. Would be good not to have to worry about work eh pal and just ride!
@@twowheels4689 Do you know where “sh*t bast*rd” climb is off Ladybower up to Win Hill? ….. as soon as you come out of the gate from the woods onto Win Hill just keep going forward and it’s straight in front of you 👍🏼
@@twowheels4689 No mate, if you climb up sh*t b*stard you’ll get to where you turn right and through a gate up a slight rocky climb that will bring you into some woods, follow that until you get to another gate that leads you into the open on Win Hill ….. once you’re here just go forwards and the descent is bang in front of you.
Just watched this again Ian, made me realise that although I’m enjoying my holiday….. I’m really missing my bike 😂😂😂😂😂.
Haha, mate enjoy the holiday plenty of time to ride in the rain when you’re back 😂😂

😂😂 cheers mate! I’d like to say it’s skill but all the time I’m descending I’m waiting for it to go tits up 😂
