If you use your "store name" as the manufacturer name when setting up your product please note if you wish to change to a brand register later, you will need to change the "manufacturer" to your brand name and remove the store name if not the same. If you don't you will get stuck at A+ content and your world will fall apart because Amazon will tell you to start again and upload it all new. After listening to a few different people I thought why not just try changing the manufacturer name to the brand name and it worked. If not your ASIN will not match your brand.

The UPC code is a general barcode. It's something you need on your product to identify the product and it allows you to sell it wherever you want. Amazon has their own proprietary code and that’s their FNSKU. When Amazon handles the products they do not want to see the UPC, they want to see the FSNKU,

Hey Lenny I know this video has been awhile, but was wondering if I searched on USPTO for the name "x" and no searches came up, but google searched and another legitimate looking company based in the US was using the name "x" consulting llc, that this would be not be worth it to try to register this as I wouldn't want to waste time and money?

Our product brands are registered individually (Jungle Stix, Jungle Snugs, etc), We just have created the Jungle Creations brand so that the name is more generic which encompasses all of the different products we sell. 😄😉 - FO

You will first need to register a trademark/brand before creating a listing under that brand name

A trademark will always be good but you can always talk to your supplier about applying the brand name.

If you are doing private label, you can purchase the UPCs from the GS1 website. Each product variation needs a unique code. 😊 - FO

So, most of the time, you need to trademark your company name only! However, we would recommend double checking this with a lega advisor as well 😊^PW
