    have you ever played on lan before? The difference is huge. Ping makes a big difference.

    when i put net_graph 3 in console, it does not have my ms, it occasionally goes up to 8 but, thats once in a life time know what i mean?

    Exactly, you're not on a LAN, you're playing over the internet. In copmarison to most broadband connections, a 48 ms ping is absolutely normal, not "crappy." If your latency to a server is a consistent 40 - 50 ms, chances are you're at no worse of a disadvantage than anyone else connected to the server over the internet. quit crying.
