- This is the final scene filmed of the classic TV show Full House.
Before all of you start commenting that this was NOT the final episode of the show...this WAS in fact the last episode they filmed. The final episode AIRED was the one where Michelle falls off the horse "Michelle Rides Again", but the actual last episode FILMED was this one "All Stood Up". I know this because Jodie Sweetin mentioned this scene in her autobiography as the final scene filmed of the series and it was hard for her and Bob Saget to hold back the tears while filming it. (you can tell).
Another validation of this is if you watch the final curtain call that is up on RUclips, you see that both Jodie Sweetin and Bob Saget are wearing the same outfit they're wearing in this scene.

For being an involved loving father who sticks up for his daughter, made me think of all the times Danny and the girls would have those talks

Its also sad what was done to this franchise... even with their awesome upbringing in the show, they decided to make the girls permiscuous and have tendencies kids from the opposite upbringing tend to have.

@@JustinMacri007 I just remember getting to like episode 2 or 3 (the one about the twins with no shirt or whatever) and being like "woow... thats not how they were raised, wrong show." And Stephanie making the remark that she's had a gf before... this isn't shameless. This is a huge, famous, FAMILY-friendly franchise and they turned it into a modern feminist backwards thinking show...

You can definitely see them struggling not to cry. All I could think was, yup, this was the last scene. The way they hugged a goodbye hug, like when a kid is about to move out and start a new life. When she ran back in, I actually got a little sad, because you could feel that end-of-an-era energy from them.

I don't think i'll ever watch and see that episode the same way, knowing it was kinda supposed to be the last episode...or at least shoulda been. I just wonder how the rest of the cast acted so professionally without any emotion like Stephanie and Danny.

Taped on Friday, February 24th, 1995. I always wondered why in the curtain call, they were wearing the clothes from THIS episode not Michelle Rides Again. Yup this was the 2nd to last episode aired but in actuality, the final one taped. TV shows do this all the time. Some episodes towards the end of the season could be the 2nd or 3rd one taped but not aired until close to the end of the season, in most cases. I read Jodie Sweetin's book and she said it was very difficult to shoot this scene because they were trying not to break down crying.

I can only imagine how hard it was to hold back the tears, knowing this was the end of the run. Now that Bob is no longer with us, you could just see the emotion of how loved and how appreciated he was in a different perspective, not just as an on-screen father, but as an actor, a comedian, and a personality we just grew to enjoy. It goes without saying, Bob Saget was a wonderfully talented individual, and boy we sure miss him.
Strangely enough, this has a better final scene-vibe than Michelle Rides Again.

They didn't even need to act in this scene, you can tell the hug was genuine. Everything I hear about the cast especially since Bob's death they are all very close knit.

@@pamelacrawford1145 They took so many shots at the Olsen twins in Fuller House. It made me feel much better laughing at the comedy series "Very Mary Kate," a comedy of fictional Mary Kate Olsen being a drunk airhead.

I believe they only really remembered the last two seasons (and even that they don't remember much) and they didn't even realize they were making the last episode till their brothers gave them flowers after the curtain call.

I'll never forget the day Bob passed away..... I was driving to My Dad and My Stepmoms House, where I stay with them and My Fiancee and Our Nine Yr old Lil One, and saw on Google "Bob Saget"..... 27 years. It's been 27 years since Full House came to an end. I was only 2 years old when this show ended. I'm now 29 years old and I feel so old.

Sweet scene! I love Full House, and its cast so much. Stephanie and DJ were always my favourites. I wish Stephanie had gotten more written for her in the last seasons... Michelle, Nicky and Alex went to the front because of their 'cuteness' factor...

It feels much more poignant now that Bob has passed away. We went through this journey with these characters and they worked together for almost a decade, then it was time to say goodbye. That hug and those emotions definitely were real.
RIP Bob. You were my favorite tv dad and one of my all time favorite comedians and all round good person. You’ll be greatly missed.

Many episodes in TV series are filmed out of sequence. Sometimes episodes are filmed just because they think an actor might depart. Saved by the Bell is the best example of this, many of the episodes were filmed out of sequence. So it's not hard for me to believe this was the last episode.
I watched Season 8 with my girlfriend, along with some of the other seasons, and I grew so attached to the show. I didn't realize how powerful, sweet, funny, and well-written it was until just recently.

I learned to tell time because of this show. They were like a family to me.. Sometimes more than my own. I remember the final show i cried.

I know this is an old comment, but I think that the actual timeline of events in Full House timeline didn't quite match up to actual recording of the episodes. For example, the episode we were shown to be the "last" one (I believe it was "Michelle Rides Again" Parts 1 and 2) were likely recorded before this one obviously, based on character availability).

No, and just so you know how old this show is, I'm almost 35 years old and the first episode aired when I was 8 years old, and the last episode aired when I was 16. Hard to believe. Now my 7 year old loves to watch reruns. He can't believe this was on when I was a little girl lol.

I heckled Bob Saget when he was doing a stand up routine in Perth Australia a few years back. He genuinely looked upset about it and didn't respond. I always felt bad about that night.

Both of them look much sadder than they should be in a scene like this. Look at Jodie's face just after she's hugged Bob. You can SEE the realisation hit her: she knows that the show is over and thinks she'll never work with all these people who've become part of her family ever again. No wonder they both agreed to do Fuller House!

Thank god the last scene had Stephanie (Jodie) instead of the Olsen twins or DJ (Candice). I mean no hate to them, but they got way too much attention. Stephanie was always my fav. character because we are the same age (I am just 3 months older than Jodie).

@Kailey Llewellyn this was the last episode filmed but not aired. TV shows do this type of thing all the time. Episodes are out of sequence with what they filmed at that time frame. Shows like Saved by the Bell do this all the time. They knew the actor that played Jessie Spano would leave so they filmed the graduation episode before she left and they aired it at the end of the season. Jodie Sweetin has said this was the last episode they filmed.
For all the morons calling him a rapist just for making dirty jokes look at this scene as validation he was a good person to those on the set
I know this was not the last episode to air, only the last episode they taped. But I think this would have made a better scene to end the series than the last scene of the final episode to air ("Michelle rides again").
