I understand they all got screwed because of spacey, but that last season was horrible without him. Michael did a great job with what he had, as he always does, but the story made no sense.
Resolved? How? I just finished watching the last episode a couple of days back and didn't realise it was the last episode. I went back now to watch the next one, got confused when there wasn't a next one and then came on RUclips to check if was being stupid and missed something. It would have been a much better to finish it off at the end of Season 5 - at least at that point it was a genuine end of a season, and as it was the end to the Frank Underwood era, a potential end to the series. It just felt like a bunch of characters just talking about Frank the entire time and it never truly felt like Claire was the centre of the show. I really don't know how this season did anything to progress the story.
I thought the last episode was creepy in a way...they implied that Claire sold her soul to the devil....imo....no one was better than Kevin Spacey, furious at him. It would have been great if they had another 5-6 episodes where he came back, would have been a challenge for the writers. The real question: Had Spacey not gotten into trouble, what would the last season have looked like? Struggle between Frank and Claire, murder one, cover up?
Secret Guy Blame netflix. They were already a few episodes in to a small season could’ve easily just let him finish especially because there was no evidence.
I thought there must have been another season by how he was talking, then i looked in the comments to confirm my suspicions.. that season was the last one? What????
I was a very big fan of House Of Cards but I’m so much disappointed with season 6 and the house of cards looks like a deep hole in it without Frank underwood, I’m not blaming the actors for it but end of the day it will be end-up some how but I think it can be ended with a lot different way where audience were satisfied.
Definitely wasn’t resolved and the writing ✍️ was just not up to par ... Kevin Spacey is a fucked up individual but Frank Underwood was brilliant to watch.
You all know what's great?? With Claire alive.... they can come back with season 7 someday....... Also, I loved this season and the ending. Down with Spacey. Kudos to Robin Wright and Michael Kelly for making it happen.
@@lopezfan24 it's like they had to rewrite all the story and script in a hurry and put all the blame on Claire's character. It would be good if the story was just the intrigue between staffs at white house like it used to be or having Claire vs President Petrov. They wasted Diane Lane's talent there. Like they just put her here and there. It made me realize if HoC was a good show because of Frank Underwood character. Poor Robin Wright, I bet she did all the best she can do.
Spacey was so good as an actor, his vacuum couldn't have been filled in no matter what these guys did. It's actually really sad that a show so good ended up like that.
So there is a real Season 6 out there that was filmed and discarded? And they re-shot and aired an atrocity of a final season instead? I want to see the real final season.
It was terrible. They spent 3 months to write 8 episodes of utter crap. I can’t believe how bad it was, and that final scene was probably the worst ending ever.
Total thrash show in final season. Claire pregnant and Doug dead?!? And who is this “Shepard” family they barely showed up in previous seasons. Almost borders fiction. It’s just sad but let me say it. We all missed Kevin Spacey.
The last season was garbage. What made that show so great was that it was too real. Then when Kevin Spacey gets called out on that nonsense they cancel it. They should have worked with it; it would have been the best final season. It shows Netflix isn't ready to be real.
Wasn’t resolved at all.. it was the worst ending since dexter. If robin or whoever wrote this garbage, then they really lost a lot of respect for wasting my time on this trash.
I felt extremely disappointed with how they ended the show, this was a really great show, and it was obvious they just wrote it in 3 months, terrible ending
They should have just released the season with Spacey. We would have watched it regardless. Yeah I get the drama surrounding him but Kevin is such a phenomenal actor that his aura cannot be replaced.
Not to take anything away from any of the great supporting cast, but that’s just what they were. Kevin Spacey made House of Cards a great show. Without him this show is garbage.
While the show had its ups and downs in seasons 1-5, it was still rather brilliant. Season 6 was garbage and totally betrayed what had gone on before. Hated every minute of it. F
I am currently rewatching House of Cards and I’m going to stop after Season 5. I hate that Spacey is a creep but his acting skills is god tier nobody can deny that
I don't think the season was complete bullshit, but the last episode was. I didn't realize I was watching the last episode and when it was over and I noticed there wasn't a next episode listed, I was sooooo confused. Just...WTF
There's only two fictional characters I despise. Joffrey Baratheon, and Doug Stamper. You have to give credit to the actors for their portrayal. Kelly is highly underrated as an actor.

That last season was just awful, very poorly written yet the cast did amazingly well at overcoming it the best they could considering. Almost wish ks was in just one episode/scene for closure and wanting to see what happens to that f***er
I believe they had either just started filming or were about to when news broke of Kevin Spacey's alleged misdeeds. The season had already been written though. I'm sure the script will leak eventually seeing as sp many people are disappointed with how it wrapped.
Evan Solomon it would have had the same ending. Confirmed on Vulture SPOILERS Frank would still have died by the hands of Claire. Plot wouldve taken a detour but same goal
Netflix so far left field they would never allow Kevin to come back. Even though proven innocent. Innocent until proven guilty, nope, only if it helps the liberal agenda.
Evan Solomon they had a choice. They Should have stood for ‘right’. Everyone Should have but they cowered. Hollywood hasn’t changed one iota as a result. They took a Few down on a word that we don’t Even Know is true yet Hollywood Still thrives in the sexual market. I’m disappointed. Today I’m watching designated survivor which isn’t Nearly as good but the second season is So Hollywood. The female fbi wears black skinny jeans and all. Sex sells and the “social” world Buys it.
HuMan Being 34/7 I agree but Netflix subscribers are teens and above, ie a HUGE chunk of the population. They aren't the world's elite. It's the same people who crucified him on Twitter that finance the show via their subscription. Netflix had no choice, they had to cave in
As a fan of the show since the start, the last season demonstrated so powerfully that ANYONE is replaceable. I think they pulled it off beautifully considering the predicament they were placed in. Well done and ignore the haters.
*I would love to see the 1st 2 episodes of season 6 that Kevin Spacey was in*
Me too!!
I refuse to watch it without Kevin spacey
Resolved? Wasted my 8 hours of life .
Better than nothing.
Sounded like you had 8 hours to live bro
I understand they all got screwed because of spacey, but that last season was horrible without him. Michael did a great job with what he had, as he always does, but the story made no sense.
The ending made me sad. Doug was my favorite character
Same! So magnetic
Resolved? That ending was TRASH
Well he's hardly going to go on and say it's garbage.
I wished he had followed through with that letter opener, that ending was disappointing
They should have honored the show by finishing it with Spacey.
THE FANS WILL FEEL LIKE IT RESOLVED.
LMAOOOOOOO
at that point, even knowing that it wouldn't resolve anything, it was all he could say!

Such a natural actor.
show: ruined.
Blame Spacey
Secret Guy Blame netflix. They were already a few episodes in to a small season could’ve easily just let him finish especially because there was no evidence.
All the characters he plays are vicious. Great actor.
Except Mike November in Jack Ryan
That ending was so fucked up that I kinda wish they didn't even have another season.
This is doug stamper’s good twin hug stamper
Not a good resolve...
Its a crime what happened to Kevin Spacey.
It sucked it sucked it sucked horrible it's like a Sopranos ending this is horrible
The Sopranos ending is the best in HISTORY!!!!!!!!!
How is it possible to kill Frank Underwood by Dough?? Final season is the only season which doesn't mean anything.
I only started watching the show last week... i wish i hadn't after watching Season 6... Claire had to die!
I thought there must have been another season by how he was talking, then i looked in the comments to confirm my suspicions.. that season was the last one? What????
It sucked after Kevin Spacey was out. He made that show.
Just watched the show. The final season made me hate the show. Should’ve stopped at the end of Season 2.
Final season without Frank was BAD

I hated this season. I think it was so bad that it diminished all the other seasons.
True.
house of cards should have ended without this terrible final season the end is in the title house of cards all fulls down xx
re-wrote whole season. I really appreciate the efforts of the writers, but yeah. They did the best the could in such short time
Final season was horrible garbage. Kevin Spacey made the show.
Anthony Rapp has a lot to answer for - that final season sucked. The seasons before were great.
JOSH****

gheez, I could have written a better ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has a decent heart?! What!? Out-of-touch actors
Surprised he didn't sing imagine during pandemic
i am sorry , but without the great kevin.......both of you are unwatchable............

Also, I loved this season and the ending. Down with Spacey. Kudos to Robin Wright and Michael Kelly for making it happen.
Show sucked without Spacey my friend.
You are freaking delusional.
Innocent until proven Guilty.
Stay in school kids.
Update: I did not feel resolved
Uhh Hi I’m pretty sure the show’s producers forced him to say that even though it was not even resolved.

The ending of the previous season felt more like a resolution i.e. Frank gets caught in his own web and someone else is the boss now.
Season 5 should've been the final season, then it would've had a proper ending. But they push for another season before the allegations came out.
Release the Spacey original end! And the Snyder's cut!!!!
It’s controversial, but Kevin should have just been allowed to continue. I’ll never watch the final season
I was the same... but I have only just finished watching season 6... I wish I had stuck to my guns like you 😔
Doug gets stabbed by Claire and dies

Amen.
Guruprasad Sreedhar we missed frank but Netflix had no choice. Can’t make excuses for spacey just because of a tv show :/
It doesn't border fiction, it is fiction. The whole show was.
Spoiler alert dude...
Doug was the best character.
This season was still better than season five.
What if Doug and Claire both died? Completely wrapped up everything. Also, it would've been better to not have Claire pregnant
Making her pregnant in the last 2 episodes just showed that the writers had no idea what to do.
Shame it was terrible
It is just sad how a show with such great actors can have such an awful ending...
Well. the problem was the kevin Spacey scandal. Netlix fired him and there wasn`t too much left in the story.
Very disappointed with the ending of the show. What a shame.

You call those allegations Nonsense? Most of the co stars on the show weren't even shocked when it all came out. Everybody knew!
I still respect Kevin Spacey as an actor since he was the heart of the show, that doesn't mean I have to like the guy himself.
Wasn’t resolved at all.. it was the worst ending since dexter. If robin or whoever wrote this garbage, then they really lost a lot of respect for wasting my time on this trash.
Everyone trashes the last season. I think it was very watchable considering they had to scramble and do something totally different

It was a month actually.
Claire isn't charismatic enough to carry it.
