The lead singer in this video had to step away around 2016 I believe, due to medical issues and the guy who does the cleans in the video, Aaron, became the lead singer. I got a chance to see them on tour with slipknot before Austin had to leave, they are so good live, so much energy.
Austin Carlile, the main vocalist in this video left the band and Aaron Paulie, the bass player and backup vocalist in this video is their new vocalist, both cleans and screams. Their latest album, Earth & Sky is their best album in my opinion.
This song is about Austin Carlisle (screamers) perception of how the media digs into bands personal lives and tends to focus on things that are negative or are misconstrued. Living Bones Exposed being the way he decided to phrase how he viewed his life through the eyes of the media. The band has gone through several lineup changes over the years. Their sound is pretty similar overall but you can definitely hear when people come and go for sure. Great band! Seen them live 3 times and havent been disappointed. You should check out Bury The Rose by Johnny Booth!
I definitely get your point about the cleans after the breakdown, I think this band is a good representation of bridging the gap for those who want to start into metal and don't want the in your face scream and want a decent amount of up and down if you will and this was a good introduction before I got heavily into metal like I am now before diving into it and starting to listen to bands like whitechapel Just my 2 cents on it but definitely do more, they're a great band that helped me get into this genre of music
I used to love OMAM. I saw them live a few times and they were always amazing. But after all those things that came to light about Austin this year, I can't listen to the old stuff anymore. 😕
I can´t stand these mainstream "metal" bands that just kill the atmosphere with the boyband feel put into it.. 🤮 A perfectly good song until.. you know!

The cleans are for dynamics. After you hit the high, you come back down to bring the end to a full sound.
Btw these guys are metalcore 100%
OF MICE & MEN - YOU MAKE ME SICK, live on bbc. Austin has an insane scream.
OM&M was the band that started Core music for me...
So that's a massive throwback right here!

Now react to their latest song "EARTH & SKY" ❤️❤️
You have to check out Second and Sebring by them. It's the classic for this band. You have to hear it
I agree. Such a beautiful song full of emotion, and still heavy as fuck.

He left because the band hadnt let him write his lyrics to the song
@pudzianania3455 no 🤣🤣🤣 he left because of a sickness forcing him to retire. The same illness that killed his mother. Stop spewing bs bro 🤡

You should Add "mushroom cloud" to your mice and men experience-list, it's a banger. Trust me on that. :)
