If I'm correct, it had the same BST (base stat total) as the average fully evolved starter at 520, so it could even get 3 forms if there's something else for God of War fans to tie in for a first stage since Atreus is a pre-teen I think. I've never played the new God of War.
Allow me to suggest a slight change to Glasteer; a signature ability I'll call Olympian Rage- once Glasteer is put below half health, he changes into Rage Form. In Rage form, his type changes from Ice to Fire, his attack is sharply raised, and all Ice-Type moves become Fire-Type. He breaks off the second horn to attack in a blinding flurry of strikes.

Maybe it could have an ability that allows it to change its type referencing the other slugcats. normal-psychic for the gourmand, normal-fire for the artificer, normal-fairy for the saint, pure water for the rivulet and normal-steel for the spearmaster

Give it a high SP def and give it the signature move Turnabout (like eruption but it’s psychic or normal type, special and also scales up with health lost instead) and maybe something like Kingambit’s special ability with different flavour text and/or a Defiant but for Sp Atk and/or a new one “Turnabout” that increases damage dealt or healed that turn increases by 30%, if the user moves last
I would absolutely ADORE a pokemon based on one of the protagonists from the Yakuza franchise, especially Kiryu. They have the animal theming, are rich in culture, and have some really unique traits (eg a Kiryu pokemon could be some sort of fighting dragon that takes helpless baby Pokemon orphans under its metaphorical or literal wings)
Ori!! I always thought Ori would fit right in Pokemon with just some tweaks, so this makes me so happy. And now that you made Bowser, PLEASE make Ganondorf next! He already has that pig appearance as Ganon, so the conversion should be similar to Bowser's in difficulty.
I would absolutely LOVE to see you adapt one (or all) of the 3 lords from Fire Emblem Three Houses into Pokémon. Great work as always, Ron! Keep it up.
They’re the perfect starter Pokémon trio. Lyn, Eliwood (horse starter for a lord who gains a horse upon promotion), and Hector (WOLF Beil, there are semiaquatic wolf subspecies and some dog breeds are strong swimmers) from Blazing Sword would also be a good starter trio.
Out of all of these Circuitrace has to be my favorite, the fact we don’t have a feminine electric Pokémon yet boggles my mind! I’d like to suggest Maxwell from Scribblenauts for the next part in the series
Some VG characters I would like to see in Pokemon form: Ridley (from the Metroid series), since villians are now on the table. Tails (from the Sonic series). Ristar (from a lesser-known game of the same name from the Sega Genesis). Piranha Plant (to get some of the minor enemy characters in on this).
Glasteer was definitely my favorite design since it deviates enough from the OG design while still embodying it. I can see it have an entrance animation where it reaches up to grab its horn/axe and breaking it off its head
I've been looking forward to a Bowser Pokemon for a while and you absolutely nailed it. It's shiny form blew me away as Black, Red and White is my favourite colourscheme; it would easily be my favourite shiny if it existed
Bearly watched the video but now im only thinking of the bowser from the thumbnail just yelling “peeches, peeches!” And confusing every pokemon trainer
I've found that I generally prefer the simpler designs with only 2-3 different colours than the more complex and overly colourful designs of Ron's. God I love this channel
Gotta admit orisp really does look a lot like ori and he does look a lot like a pokemon already so this works greatly. Also i really like how you added the personalities and attributes of these fakemon's inspirations.
I'm so glad you did Ori, I played the games last year and they're some of the best games I've played in a long time! As someone here said, Orisp is freaking adorable and awesome at the same time, similar to Eevee and Pikachu.
If you like Metroidvania games, then it is absolutely worth a try. It has some of the most beautiful stories/soundtracks/visuals that I have ever seen in a video game.
Truegreen7, I have couple ideas for newer video game pokemon for next video: - Pokemon based on Solid Snake (Ghost/Steel type reptile/serpent pokemon) (Metal Gear) - Pokemon based on Erdrick from Dragon Quest (Fighting/Dragon type humanoid warrior pokemon) - Pokemon based on Scorpion from Mortal Kombat (Bug/Fire due to being a scorpion-like pokemon) - A pokemon based on Centipede from Atari game (It would be Bug type Centipede pokemon with cues taken from other Atari games like Pong or Asteroids)
this series gave me and idea, would you ever consider turning pokemon characters into pokemon in the same way you do other video game characters? i'd personally love to see guzma's personality and appearance translated into an actual pokemon.
A trainer and Pokémon swap would be a pretty cool idea. Like turning the signature Pokémon of famous trainers into trainer humanisations and vice versa; turning famous Pokémon trainer characters into a new species of Pokémon.
@@Hero_of_Comedy Yep. Though, the Omori Pokemon could also be part Ghost or Dark type, and the Ness Pokemon could be able to learn Fire, Ice, and Electric type moves.
But that’s Pauline’s moves, not Ness’, he mainly acts as support that can deal some big melee hits with his bat, some a bit like how Wolfe uses Tinkaton
I really think a mythical pokemon based of the characters from peglin would be really good. It could even have a hidden ability called Etheral Peglin which acts as revival blessing on itself (1 use per battle )
i was thinking maybe the noise or fake peppino for a pokemon, since noise is already kinda creature-y in costume and fake already has some animal traits to draw from, that being a frog, which you can kinda see in that one jumping sprite and the tongue attack (theres also the war clones making literal frog noises but thats a whole other type of peppino clone)
Hmm.... wonder if there'd be pre-evos to the Kratos one. One with his rage fueled prior game concept, with another featuring something we've only heard of as his first stage: the time when he was a general, leading others and whatnot.

I suggested Sly Cooper for part 6 last time. For part 7, I wouldn't mind sticking with my choice but now I'm thinking of the idea of maybe featuring Ezio, Altair, Connor Kenway or his grandpa Edward from assassin's Creed 1 to Black flag~
Orisp looks so adorable 😍 The Ori games are some of my favorites of all time, and Ori and the Will of the Wisps is one of the only games to make me cry
Gotta say, I've been hooked on these since your first video. You're a hell of an artist, & your design philosophy tip while designing the Mario Pokémon still sticks in my head. For what it's worth, I have recommendations that I'd love to see your "Poké-ified" take on: • Rayman - An anthrofied cluster of dwarf planets orbiting around each other. A fairy/fighting type with a righteous yet laid-back demeanor, & the ability to shoot light based energy beams (ala Rayman 2) & hover with it's two hair-like constellations. • Spamton (Deltarune, Chapter 2) - An electric/psychic-type shark creature with bright goggles & a winning toothy smile who's desperate to do a trade deal, any deal with it's peers. A loan shark, you might say... • Morrigan (Darkstalkers) - A cheeky dark/fairy-type siren with the ability to summon schools of pirahnas that converge into large hands or bows. Hope you take these into consideration for any future videos, & even if you don't, trust I'll give a watch regardless. 👍💖
I could see Madeline as an ice/ground or ice/rock type since she's a mountain climber. And Hat Kid could be part water since she fights with an umbrella.
It makes me so happy you did a Pokémon for the Ori games! They definitely deserve so much more attention and praise!!! Plus, I’d totally have Orisp on my team
Hell yeah, it's grade-A prime cut final boss time! :D Seriously, Reptorrid looks amazing! ... and now I gotta be careful to not let my own Terraking resemble Reptorrid too much when I get to designing more of the 'mons from my Smash-themed region, especially cuz they're already the same type (tho let's be honest, could a Bowser-based 'mon be *anything* but fire/dragon? maybe throw ghost in there if it's based on Dry Bowser specifically, but otherwise naaaaah) XD
Ya know, the regional variant of Reptorrid might be similar to Dark Bowser that first debut in Bowser's Inside Story. Anyways....... I'm sure you'll have to try Video Game Anti-Heroes as Pokemon. Especially Wario (A greedy fartbag version of Mario) and Shadow (An edgy hedgehog that is mutated with demonic Black Arms)
These are all FANTASTIC! I want to catch them all! If we can suggest characters, then I'd like to suggest an Ace Attorney character! Phoenix Wright is the most iconic, but if there's another one you'd prefer, I'd be cool with any.
Also, since Playstation All-Star Battle Royal told us that Needles Kane is a finest rival of Kratos, Dark/Fire really make sense for Killown (Aka, Long-Time Rival of Glasteer). And why you may asked? Well, Killown is like a merciless clown Pokemon that invades Glasteer's cold lands by melting the snow with its fiery wrath (Poke-Pun intended). So it could have Moxie (If you want a Physical Killown) and Sharpness (If you want a Slicing Killown). It's hidden would definitely be Lightning Rod. Which would make sense since Needles Kane did survive the shocking impulse electric chair. Plus, Mega Killown is based on an ice cream truck called Sweet Tooth. With Shuckle-Shattering Defense and the Steelworker of Dhelmise, Mega Killown can take on opponents with a double-barreled gatling gun, a jetpack in order to use earthquake, and its another candidate for the fire-type move Mind Blown
Characters I would like to see become Pokémon: Monika (Doki doki literature club) Bendy (Bendy and the Ink Machine) Frisk (Undertale) Specimen 9 (Spooky's house of jumpscares) Ralsei (Deltarune
Now that you've done an ice type, you only need a Flying type and a Psychic type to have done at least one of each type in your fakemon-based-on-game-character series. So I am suggesting three characters for each of those types Pit, NiGHTS, or Rodea as a Flying type And Ness, Zelda, or Shulk as a Psychic type
Imagine a pure-Flying Triangle Attack Pokémon. First stage is a single pink pegasus. Second stage has the pink pegasus more grown, plus a blue pegasus. Final stage has the previous two plus a green rookie pegasus, with the pink pegasus as the confident leader. Shiny form has a purple leader, an indigo middle kid, and a cyan rookie to reference Blazing Sword. Like Maushold has a Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters vibe, so does this line have a G1 My Little Pony vibe.
TrueGreen7, I just want to say I really appreciate this series of yours. I enjoy watching the process and the end product always slap. Also, it just makes me feel calm whenever I watch your videos. 😁👍
Here are the two pre-evolved forms of Reptorrid, the first stage Reptantrum (Reptile + Tantrum,) is inspired by Bowser Jr./Baby Bowser. Reptantrum evolves into the militaristic Reptroopa (Reptile + Koopa Troopa,) inspired by the various turtle like enemies of The Koopa Troop, mostly your basic Koopas and Hammer Bros. Both Reptantrum and Reptroopa are Dragon - Normal type, though Reptantrum knows few fire type moves. Reptroopa also has an alternate evolution when given a fairy stone, the Fairy - Dragon type Pokémon, Repturgy (Reptile + Thaumaturgy,) inspired by Bowsers’ adoptive father/second in command Kamek.
Potential characters for pokeification: King Dedede (Kirby) Meta Knight (Kirby) Meat Boy (Super Meat Boy) Slugcat (Rainworld) Olimar w/Pikmin Wario Master Chief (Halo) Octoling (Splatoon; would juxtapose Inkid) V1 (Ultrakill) The Lamb (Cult of the Lamb)
Glasteer is amazing!. I need an entire line. The first stage a cute lil ice calf without or with barely any horns, second stage grows larger horns with a smaller body than this stage and lastly this where he Ripa his horn off ❤
we need a team fortress merc, heavy is our main man, scout is probably the 2nd most recognizable, im a demomain with bias, medic is our token healer, soldier invented the blast jump, spy is unque to say the least, sniper is here, pyro is ambiguous and could theoretically be a Pokémon, and lastly engineer launched the idea that engineers in games need sentries
I know I'm really late to this but amazing video as always :) I feel like a Pokemon based on Pikmin would be nice, sort of like a Falinks situation if that makes sense, or like it has different forms based on what Pikmin type it is, like a Red Pikmin Pokemon is Grass/Fire, Yellows are Grass/Electric etc :]
Turning video game characters into Pokemon and remembering Pokemon Insurgence, a fan game about dangerous cults surrounding legendaries and mythicals, makes me also wonder what the lamb from Cult of the Lamb would look like as a Pokemon. I know it'd be Ghost-Type for sure. Not sure if it'd be a regional form of Mareep or Wooloo's lines or just a whole new sheep.
I'd love to see Wario since the Wario Land games are my favorite game series, but if you'd rather not go through the trouble of thinking how to riff on your Mario design, then Peppino from Pizza Tower would be a good one for the underrated indie slot next time.
@@Hero_of_Comedy yeah me too, and im also could see Peppino as a pokemon that based on some Italian animal, and the type maybe fighting/fire or something
Zangoose has kinda like a kratos pattern. So around 9 years ago did i draw a fakemon that resembled a form of zangoose that looked like kratos. It was holding a medusa head based on serviper as a reference to the medusa head kratos get in the original series. I remember giving this zangoose stone. fire because medusas head turned people to rocks and fire because this zangoose was using a fire variant of the new at that time, honedge.
Oh, can you make an Omori Pokémon? It would be a psychic-dark type and resemble a humanoid cat. I think its front paws should be red as a reference to Omori’s Red Hands ability.
We need more pixie-like mythicals and Orisp absolutely has my heart.
Mhm
Agreed

If Glasteer is gonna be an upcoming Pokemon for your future region, I would love a pre-evolution based on Atreus!

I know bows work by flexing the wood and not the string, but a pretty evolved form that was an archer using an adult Glasteer's horn would be cute. 😂

Imagine if a Phoenix Wright pokemon was an actual Phoenix.
It could be called Justright as a reference to the justice system he works for, and the name Wright.
Reptorrid’s shiny is great; great job Ron!
Please do more video game villains in the future, that Bowser was awesome
Once again these look amazing!
When I saw him get his plushies I thought he was gonna leave the room like he saw something he didn’t want to see.
Characters I would like to see become Pokémon:
Monika (Doki doki literature club)
Bendy (Bendy and the Ink Machine)
Frisk (Undertale)
Specimen 9 (Spooky's house of jumpscares)
Ralsei (Deltarune
Now that you've done an ice type, you only need a Flying type and a Psychic type to have done at least one of each type in your fakemon-based-on-game-character series.
So I am suggesting three characters for each of those types
Pit, NiGHTS, or Rodea as a Flying type
And Ness, Zelda, or Shulk as a Psychic type
Imagine a pure-Flying Triangle Attack Pokémon. First stage is a single pink pegasus. Second stage has the pink pegasus more grown, plus a blue pegasus. Final stage has the previous two plus a green rookie pegasus, with the pink pegasus as the confident leader. Shiny form has a purple leader, an indigo middle kid, and a cyan rookie to reference Blazing Sword. Like Maushold has a Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters vibe, so does this line have a G1 My Little Pony vibe.
3:05 I don’t think you’ll ever make one, but if you made a Bowser Jr. Inspired fakemon, it would be the perfect pre evolution for Reptorrid
TrueGreen7, I just want to say I really appreciate this series of yours. I enjoy watching the process and the end product always slap. Also, it just makes me feel calm whenever I watch your videos. 😁👍
Okay I’m just imaging the Kratos Pokémon trying to hunt all the Legendary Pokémon.
That would be an amazing antagonist, if a bit dark
More incredible designs!!! Loved Bowser and Oris!!!👏🏽
My headcanon is that Glasteer is a regional variant of a much more aggressive fire type from a Greece inspired region
Nicknames for these Videogame Mons
Reptorrid: Peaches, Bowzer, Furykoopa, Kingshell, Bowser, Furysurge, Spikeshell
Circuitrace: Warp, Tereporto, Speedflash, Newsflash, I'll Be Tracer, Tracerdash, Flitspeed
Orisp: Forestflare, Orianos, Oranna, Wispguard, Whysper
Glasteer: Icebreak, Kratobull, Arceusdown, Godslayer, Bulwark, Shiverslam
Potential characters for pokeification:
King Dedede (Kirby)
Meta Knight (Kirby)
Meat Boy (Super Meat Boy)
Slugcat (Rainworld)
Olimar w/Pikmin
Wario
Master Chief (Halo)
Octoling (Splatoon; would juxtapose Inkid)
V1 (Ultrakill)
The Lamb (Cult of the Lamb)
I think that there should be a pre-evolution for Glasteer, based on Krato’s son
I like how orisp has the same coloring as hisuian zorua. Same with the shiny.
I want a DJ Octavio as a pokemon. It would have a diabolical nature, buts will soothe down when listening to Disco!
Glasteer is amazing!. I need an entire line. The first stage a cute lil ice calf without or with barely any horns, second stage grows larger horns with a smaller body than this stage and lastly this where he Ripa his horn off ❤
Your description of Reptorrid is pretty cool. Bowser actually treats his underlings well but some people don't seem to know that
we need a team fortress merc, heavy is our main man, scout is probably the 2nd most recognizable, im a demomain with bias, medic is our token healer, soldier invented the blast jump, spy is unque to say the least, sniper is here, pyro is ambiguous and could theoretically be a Pokémon, and lastly engineer launched the idea that engineers in games need sentries
I think lloyd irving would be a perfect character to make a pokemon out of
I love the way you design fakemon so fun snd cool while also looking like the coolest thing ever
I know I'm really late to this but amazing video as always :)
I feel like a Pokemon based on Pikmin would be nice, sort of like a Falinks situation if that makes sense, or like it has different forms based on what Pikmin type it is, like a Red Pikmin Pokemon is Grass/Fire, Yellows are Grass/Electric etc :]
The Kratos Pokemon should have a Greek-inspired regional form.
The name for Glasteer should be Kratauros. I mean, perfect opportunity.
We have ori and knight…now we need the Survivor from rainworld. COMPLETE THE TRIO!
Great video love the Bowser mon ^^
I would love to see some Fire Emblem or Persona theme mons in the future ^^
I'd love to see Wario since the Wario Land games are my favorite game series, but if you'd rather not go through the trouble of thinking how to riff on your Mario design, then Peppino from Pizza Tower would be a good one for the underrated indie slot next time.
I could see Wario as a motorbike mutant fakemon with the steel type
Kinda missed an opportunity to involve Reptorrid's relationship with Tanimble (your Mario themed Fakemon from the first video of this series).
Henry Stickmin, the chaos Pokémon
I really like Glasteer and the Ice / Fighting combo
Oh, can you make an Omori Pokémon? It would be a psychic-dark type and resemble a humanoid cat. I think its front paws should be red as a reference to Omori’s Red Hands ability.
I second this!
