I wish both UK and US kept the playstyles of their fast turreted TD’s through tier VIII-X instead of becoming big and slow. Imagine a tier X charioteer / Hellcat type of tank.
That would make a lot of sense with the US, since that was the doctrine they had on ww2, i wouldn't be surprised they had a couple of prototype tanks like a Hellcat but with a higher caliber gun
Same with the Mediums, the US line starts off light, fast, good camo with the T20, then you get the big, slow and dumb Pattons, I wish there was a new branch splitting from the T20 and keeping the glass cannon flavor.
The absolute last thing this game needs is more fast-meta tanks.

Intuition skill is probably the most important skill on that tank apart from sixth sense, switching from apcr to hesh or vice versa in 2 seconds while aiming makes sure you always have the right ammo loaded and the maximum damage potential
I love how it went from being the most useless skill ingame to one that is almost mandatory lol
@@nvducei Yep, I reset quite a lot of skills on different tanks to make sure I have this.
As a MT main, Charioteer is my favorite TD and what you said about intuition is absolutely right. It helps a lot on this tank specially
Charioteer is one of my fav TD-s I love APCR shells with great pen and velocity but I also realy like HESH shells and cheap HESH shells are awsome with 105mm of pen and they are cheaper than APCR ammo. And now after HE changes HESH shells can go trought objects and tracks. And with intuition skill this tank is epic.
The standard HE on the Charioteer needs a mention too with 105mm of standard pen it's pretty nice. This is also one of my favourite tanks too
the ammo count is the issue, 30 rounds doesn't allow too much flexibility with ammo distribution

Tips for my Baboon family. When you are playing against the Tier VII or VIII's, I make a full HESH loadout, it has more than enough pen to deal with all of the Tier VII and some Tier VIII vehicles. I'm a very dirty son of the banana :D
But if you are playing against the higher tiers than you obviously use Skills loadout!
This tank is very very bladyful
If you like glass cannons, this Carry-oteer is your tier 8 Leopard PT A. Does everything you expect a TD to do for you very well + everything you'd expect an MT to be able to do. 2 for the price of 1 in terms of capabilities on the battle field. Just amazing.

This tank is realy a medium tank with better firepower but worst gun handling that's it
@@mentorkosova3796 It's a T-34-3 but with the bad parts taken away and without turret armor.
This tank is amazing! Bought it on my way to the 4005 but it soon turned out to be a keeper. It has the same gun as the centurion AX with a different gold ammo and a bit worse gun handling. Aiming time is very long (actually am surprised skill is not using improved aiming), but that's the only downside of the gun. It's quite mobile and sometimes plays more like a medium than a td. It's one of my all time favourite and also the first tier 8 I have ever 3 marked. ❤️
Skill wasn't spotted so many times in the first battle it is insane!

This is my favorite tank in the whole game. Absolutely fun. Only tech tier 8 tank I managed to 3 mark too
The Charioteer is one of my favorite tanks in the game. Love when the HESH and cheap HE pen tanks.
I hated stock grind with this tank so much, at least I now have top gun to grind 100k exp for conway
I had a love hate experience with this tank, stock gun was horrible and top gun was so lovely.
this tank is better than Conway. unless you want the fv4005 don't go up

My Conway has 5.74 sec reload with 400 avr dmg which gives 4185 dpm , 1.51 sec aiming time, 0.28 dispersion, -10 gun depression, if anyone tells you that is bad dont listen to them. You can even get 5.51 reload with the fancy stuff.
@@menfaaanda nobody is saying the top gun is bad, we are saying the stock grind is horrible. Almost no dmg per hit, penetration is terrible for a t8 td. Second gun is 40k xp and almost nothing is better than the stock gun. So unless you got 95k xp free xp laying around you will suffer.
I already love this gun on Centurion 7/1 and its awesome. Extremly good pen on Standard Rounds and this HESH is so satisfying.
I think this is the best TD out of the FV 4005 tech tree :)

That light tank's turret was funny // Love the chariot but the RNG screws with that ammo. 210 pen is a guide rather than a fact, it might pen a light but then again you might do 12 damage with it - great video skill.
those HESH rounds are addictive man i always use them all inn battle

I'm genuinely shocked at how good this tank is now probably one of my favorite tr8 tanks to play because of the high alpha hi pain good mobility and pretty damned decent camel rating. It makes a case for being one of the better TD's in the game IMO.

I don't know why I like this tank, as it is frustrating to the max. It does all the bad things that happened to Skill in his battles. Hesh always lowrolls, if you are not fully aimed forget to hit, unless target is really close. Even with all this is just good tank ;) Plus standard HE are also decent.

When you have time, can you check this up if you can choose snap shot on your commander as well!
Let me tell u something if charioteer would be the premium tank , WG could sold it more than skorpion and su 130 pm
Gun is what this is all about. I used my Achilles crew in it. Even with rations to compensate, gun seemed to take forever to aim, & awful snapshots. Also got a lot of odd bounces or non penns on lower tier tanks. Arghh! Skill shows what a dedicated crew can do though, & it can be fun. Good mobility V poor gun traverse & depression. It rewards being sneaky!
Skill rates Skorpion the same (excellent) & SU130 not as good (good rating).
@@eze8970 bruh its a TD not a med tank and its has like o.8 dispersion on turret traverse . U can easily make it work
@@cartonks.2492 I'm not saying it can't work, just to note that without a dedicated crew, it suffers a lot for it's biggest attribute, i.e the gun.
You can't argue with a T10 gun at T8! Altho when it didnt penn a T6, you do get the 'Whaaaaaaaaaattttt!' voice in your head!

Seriously skill I played today in a Leo.. shooting tanks over and over in the side and nothing! No damage, no bounce, not even a failed to penetrate armour notification. I have huge shell speed and huge armour pen and a 5 skill crew.. games crazy broke at the minute. Please WG sort this 👍🏻😫

Fun tank but gun handling is horrible. The gun gets alot of dispercion when moving. The gun is much better on the centurion 7/1

Last game is exactly my hole experience with this idiot tank....
On paper it looks so god like...speed and super gun with starwars like gun....all is wow untill you aim for 3 days and 3 nights and miss....one after another...
Dont even try snap shots because this tank cant hit ANY of them...
The only thing i manage to master with this tank is playing it like a light tank...when the team is loosing...and that is running and running...
Nope, this tank cant do the job and the RNG is so nice made that made this tank a perma banned for me.
