Music video for the title track off the 2009 EP, "Fate to Fatal" starring the fine ladies of the St. Louis Arch Rivals Rollergirl team. Props to Amy Whited (Joanie Rollmoan) and the Skatium in STL for making the video possible. Video directed by Mando and James Ford.
i met Kim and Kelly too at Newark airport on their way to coachella, both really, really sweet and cool people, they autographed my Mountain Battles cd and thanked me for "staying high".
The Fear-era Breeders is my favourite of all the Breeders incarnations. So unlikely yet so perfect. Evidence right here.
Love the song, I really dig the ambiguously anguished lyrics.
Hace ya varios años escuchaba esta canción regreso aquí al recordar aquellos tiempos que nostalgia
Let us all pray that Kim and her musical accomplices never stop pumping out addictive tunes.
There is a men's derby demo this coming Saturday 8/29/09 as sort of an opening act for our local championship! All American Sports Mall!
Classic song, classic video.
Terrific song and good to see the ARRG getting some love. Now if we only had a men's team in STL.
The Breeders amazing as ever, cant wait to see them in Dublin on May 18th. Happy Days.

It's all in the way.
How a soul pours out the door on the road.
I'll get home safe.
If only all we raise are the scars and the roof.
I'll get home.
What men pray for what men cradle I run from fate to fatal.
I don't want to break a thing.
This time is so lost it's so late.
I run all night.
Run with the unwanted waste as my poor kin.
I'll run on.
Hey Mike Hunt, I know it's 4 years later but just saw your comment. I do actually have the lyrics (we had to memorize them for the video, but with only like 2 days to do it, I was a little rough on them then). Hit me up and I can send them your way.
As my cousin the hellcat skater tot always tells me "Ms Lippy Rules!" Great song and fun to see the ARRG get international recognition.
They played this live at King Tuts on tuesday.. t'was awesome!
how the fuck could it get any better than this?!?! Womens Roller Derby and The Breeders!!!
I won't die till i see Kim Deal live in concert.
Great song, The Breeders rule. I also have to admit that I'm in love with the main chick on the pink team - the one who gets dropped at the end. Derby girls are dope.
it's not my birthday but this makes me feel like it is...
happy birthday to all of us!
YAY! I love my derby girls!!
Love so much!!!
I can't stop listening to it... it is crack in my ear... fool's gold... the glistening 20 bill in last winter's coat.... Unrelenting rock on wheels...
... and I'm a BLOCKER!! How kewl is that??
Satan's KillHer
The Breeders and Chubbys? I love! Perfect!
Hell yeah, ARRG! SRG loves you ladies! (and, of course, the Breeders!)
@ss81 yeah, funny how it's such a rocker--Kim called "loud and obnoxious, which is good"--but also so pretty. And to think she put on a tambourine on it because she didn't think the song was that great...
(cont).....I'll get home safe. Oh. I don't want to break a thing.
If only all we raise are the scars and the roof.
I'll get home.
What men pray for what men cradle I run from fate to fatal.
Get up. Get out. Oh. Oh. (x2)
It's all in the way.
I don't want to break at all.
I could probably post them. Please hold....
I wonder if they were thinking about Sergeant Peppers Lonely Harts Club Band when they wrote it? Cool song...
