I really hope Japan can pull off another huge upset like they did against South Africa last time.
I'm happy with our pool as an Irishman but the fact we'll be facing either New Zealand or South Africa in the quarters could mean yet another quarter final exit for us.

You might as well have held this rugby tournament in India because no one knows what rugby is in Japan as a aport and that is a fact .
Shows how little you know about rugby... The Japanese love rugby, and have a thriving group of clubs and competitions. Many of the top international players go there towards the end of their careers as they get paid very well for doing so.. That wouldn't happen if no one knew about rugby in Japan, and/or it wasn't a popular sport.. Japan are the top tier 2 team alongside Georgia in world rugby, and both are capable of more than holding their own against the top teams.. In fact Japan beat South Africa in the 2015 world Cup..

Stop your useless projections. 2019 is too far to do that nowadays and the teams in 2017 'll not be the same teams automatically in 2019... For example France is a young team and in 2 years its level 'll be better than now pratically sure. Add, France is never in its best level in test matches and even in the 6 Nations, because during that the French TOP14 is here and more important and tiring for the players. BUT for the WC, the French made the national team 100% together and for that during 2 months before. France Team always is better and harder to beat in a WC than in test matches or 6 Nations. So "wait and see" in 2 years...
