HANK WILLIAMS NEVER REALLY clicked with me... and always wondered what people saw in him... but two years ago hank williams music hit me right out of the blue... even though he died from alcohol in the back of a cadillac that moment his soul was in heaven... alot of people would say what a sinner no way he made it... his songs about JESUS struck me far more than many church preachers... which proved his body dying of alcoholism but his spirit glorified JESUS.... your body may not make it but through the blood of JESUS your soul can.

We cannot call him a sinner in the usual way people call a person when they drink alcohol because he had to have some relief from the pain and it was just unfortunate that alcohol makes a person act certain bad ways. But his heart was always good. His body was riddled with pain and he finally found chloral hydrate to help, too. No, his heart was right and good. As a child I used to listen to the Grand Ole Opry on Friday nights. Sometimes I’d get the chance to listen to Hank as he sang the Old Country Church or Kaw-liga or some of his other unforgettable classics. Many years later my mother sold just about every major country music star the home, farm or studio bldg. She sold Hank Williams, Jr his farm. I had the chance as a young man to meet him. Still prefer his Father’s singing. Nobody will ever be the equal of Hank, Sr.

HANK WILLIAMS NEVER REALLY clicked with me... and always wondered what people saw in him... but two years ago hank williams music hit me right out of the blue... even though he died from alcohol in the back of a cadillac that moment his soul was in heaven... alot of people would say what a sinner no way he made it... his songs about JESUS struck me far more than many church preachers... which proved his body dying of alcoholism but his spirit glorified JESUS.... your body may not make it but through the blood of JESUS your soul can.

We cannot call him a sinner in the usual way people call a person when they drink alcohol because he had to have some relief from the pain and it was just unfortunate that alcohol makes a person act certain bad ways. But his heart was always good. His body was riddled with pain and he finally found chloral hydrate to help, too. No, his heart was right and good. I love that man very much even thought he is gone from us.

As a child I used to listen to the Grand Ole Opry on Friday nights. Sometimes I’d get the chance to listen to Hank as he sang the Old Country Church or Kaw-liga or some of his other unforgettable classics. Many years later my mother sold just about every major country music star the home, farm or studio bldg. She sold Hank Williams, Jr his farm. I had the chance as a young man to meet him. Still prefer his Father’s singing. Nobody will ever be the equal of Hank, Sr.
