I there any point in basebombing anymore? The SL gains have been nerfed for it a long time ago, it still gives a nice amount of RP though. But RP without SL doesn't worth much, it's better to take out a premium plane that can farm both at the same time, or ground pound or play an SPAA. A talismaned SPAA or a premium tank which can consistently shoot down planes is probably the best for this for ground. As for planes, most earns a decent amount in RB anyway. But basebombing, i just took out a few of the highest tiered US bombers and got less SL by bombing bases than i would have got by playing low tier air arcade with reserve planes.
Basebombing just works the best for bombers as it tends to be consistent. Yes the SL payout is poor but it’s better than charging in bombing ground targets to get even less SL than if you bombed the bases
@@Joseph-2000 I find that if I bomb a base as a b17 I usually get around 1900 - 2500 SL but if I bomb one pillbox or tank I earn around 500 SL, so for me I going to try to start bombing more ground targets because you will eventually earn more SL than the bases.
Its useful for grinding rp and lets be honest easier to reliably hit if you dont get seal clubbed by a guy who for some reason instantly kills you the moment a bullet hits. Also im a console plebian so take my word with a grain of salt.
What else are you going to do with heavy bombers. Ground pounding is suicide and even if you try it the much faster attackers and strike craft just destroy the best targets before you can do anything about it. So now you get to ground pound scraps while every fighter in a 5 mile radius comes gunning for you for the free kill. At least base bombing gets you something and it's safe and reliable, even if it's low rewards.
Nice and all but the crux is how many bombs to kill MiniBases and the AF... i'm sure the info is somewhere knowing GJ's propensity to be exhaustive....(chuckles).
If i was to cover every single BR with Minibases and Airfield, this vid would be longer than a feature documentary. So i figured saying in the vid that people should learn overtime about it would make more sense.
@@Joseph-2000 Yeah and it would age as milk... better is to find an excel sheet where the info is and frankly this is GJ's job to give the relevant and up to date info about their game not the community's.
What bombers will you reccommend for events like the summer and winter? I was thinking pe8 to save me the hassle of learning how much bombs it takes, as only 1-2 times have I actually played with bombers.
I still have a question: how do you aim with turrets? Idk but i have shitty aim so i always die when I could have killed the fighter on my tail with my armament
An important thing to do is to aim with the smaller green crosshairs instead of the big white ones. The big ones don't show where your guns are firing at, they show where your guns are trying to traverse towards. The small green ones that show how hot your gun is getting when firing also show where your guns are firing at, and aiming with those usually gets you much better results. Does take a bit of practice to wrangle the turret controls though, and you're best ignoring AI aiming alltogether because they couldn't pour water out of a boot if instructions were at the sole.
Not everyone has a BV-238, and that doesnt always work. If a P-61C sees you, you're as good as gone. Plus that doesnt really correspond as actual bomber gameplay, thats more Gunshipping
