Ruby&Pearlxo DT Project - Rosabella Junk Journal

I’m delighted to be sharing my first project for ‪@rubyandpearlxo‬ #rubytuesdaydt, as a member of her talented group of ladies!. I’m calling this journal Rosabella, as she encapsulates many of the beautiful rose imagery Heather has available within her digital kits. Rosabella is both soft and strong, just like a rose, I hoped to convey this with the use of soft laces and velvet alongside metal adornments.
The cover is where the story of Rosabella began, an antique French book cover which was destined to be part of this journal. I saved it especially for my first design team project, as a tribute to Heather as her favourite colour is Blue. This set the tone for the rest of my creative process, I love the juxtaposition of the Pinks and Blues. I got so carried away with Heathers digitals not everything could sit inside this journal, which fortunately resulted in a cute bundle to accompany Rosabella.
