- Lucy takes a walk around a packed old town
Benidorm is located on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Famous for it's beaches, bars, restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, hotels, sightseeing, party atmosphere, excursions, tours and sun. It is not only one of the top holiday destinations in Spain but one of the best tourist hotspots in the whole of Europe. British and Irish tourists love to travel to Benidorm, being one of the best resorts for a package holiday, but it is also well loved by many European travellers, and of course the Spanish themselves. It is an all year round holiday resort, the good weather means there is something to offer visitors of all nationalities and ages, and you will always find things to do and places to go. What a joy to see the streets buzzing and full of happy smiley people! The views from the Mirador were absolutely spectacular! 😮 Benidorm is such a melting pot of nationalities and I love hearing all the different voices as you guide us through the streets! Thank you 😇🥰
Yes.. Mostly spanish in the old town.. I can hear them.. And also i hear someone speaking tthe native language ( Valencian language) , it´s close to catalán but with different accent .I speak it by the way.
After a couple of frightening years it’s beautiful to see people relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Benidorm again 🔥☀️😎
Used to stay in the old town as it was quieter, obv not now.

Visited Benidorm in June and enjoyed the great atmosphere walking from the Levante Beach along the seafront after the evening meal at the superb Don Pancho hotel.
First went to Benidorm in 1976, from the scorching summer in the UK.
Even back then there was a unique feel about the resort.
When critics knock the town they overlook that beside bars, restaurants, and pubs there is also very upmarket shops in the old town, and quirky side streets full of small hotels.
It was great to see some normality return after the sad period in 2020.21.
Having been lucky to have visited many places, Benidorm still offers so much and only a 2 plus hour flight from the UK
It was very hot in mid - June and most British people we saw coped very well with the prolonged heat, but it went unreported in the UK media !
I've got this all to come on Monday, I'm buzzing!

Many thanks Lucy, showing some lovely pearls to visit in future. We visited the Mirador and Balcon too during the day, it was fairly busy when we went, not as much as when you did, oh my, really packed. One thing stood out for me and that was the addition of a really good ramp for the disabled / wheelchair / buggy users to access the Es Castell section. Take care Lucy.
Ha, if you had then walked down the steps going past the harbour and dove park to come back through the old town you have just done the exact route we did on our one alcohol free evening, well almost alcohol free, great vid of some of the best views in Benidorm.
Great video as always Lucy, got to say the Old Town is one of my favourite parts of Benidorm. Must find Gin Street next time.

Wow, even the last time I was in Benidorm in 2018 it wasn’t anywhere near as busy in the old town. Fantastic to see. Lovely to see Klee, miss my games of dice with lee, Andrew and Monique, Paula usually supervised 😂. Thank you Lucy.
I Love the old Town of Benidorm I always stay in the old Town out of all the hotels I stay in my favourite hotel is Aqua Azul good food good service friendly staff and the rooms are very spacious

I love love love old town, the beach, the shops, the bars...the nightlife crowd are so much fun too, I’m usually leaving before it gets to raucous tho.. 💃🏼🍹 💁🏼♀️😆.
Great video it’s my first time going to Benidorm going with my friend this video has been great to watch as I thought it was just all really noisy bars but it looks beautiful staying in the presendante hotel 👍

Where exactly is this area of British bars in old town. Could you reply with street names please Lucy I only know a few streets back from the levante and poniente beaches
The British bars are scattered all around the Old Town really
Carrer del Pal. (Kafee Klee, Pig & Whistle)
Calle San Miguel.
Calle Alicant. (Mostly gay bars, but respectful straight people are more than welcome in the bars.)
Carrer de Santa Faç. (As above)
There a few other bars, but I don't know the street names off the top of my head.
Thanks Lucy! Great video, so nice to see the place buzzing again! I have a question you may have the answer to - at 10:35 in the video, one of the hotels (?) on the Levante front has neon lights going down, it looks a bit like a letter K. Do you know what that hotel is please?

We spend a very good time in benidorm was my first time, thank you for all information ,next year coming back ,but in old town they charge us for 2 of us 55 euros 💶 i wa surprised only 3 deferent tapas and bottles white wine and then other place we pay on 7 euro 50 sangria and 4 deferent tapas .

Hi Lucy could you please let me know how far are how long it takes from the old town to cafe los chuquitos. Av Vicente liorca alos 11.03502. Got a chance to stay there at Christmas but need to know how far old is walking are bus/taxi. Hope you can help. Thank you.
Is that cafe on the Poniente beachfront? if its the one I'm thinking of id say around 20 min walk to Old Town

I have a slight mobility problem have read that mobility scooters are now banned in the town would I be unable to rent one?
If you have mobility problems you can rent them, they're just cracking down on the misuse of them (i.e people renting them for fun when they don't need them)
