Small note: my bag had vachetta that was so pale; so, I put it on a table next to a window during the summer. It darken'd up. Put the bottom half of the bag in another cover/bag and let the sun hit the top of your bucket bag - rotate. It should catch up to the darker color. LV did a beautiful job restoring your denim bags!! They look new! In the case of the bucket bag, they should have notified you of the problem, so you could decide for yourself. I’ll bet, as it continues to get treated, it will look just fine.😊🤞 Lovely collection!!😊
Love the denim bags! Cover the bottom of the bucket bag with tape and sun the upper part making sure to turn it to even the patina. I had to do this when one of my bags caught the sun on one side from being on a shelf & darkened more than the rest.

Love seeing everyone come home! I had the pale pink and black Marc Jacobs versions of the baggie. I love that shape so much. ( I carry fountain pens but knock wood...) Lol my old speedy has the pull tab in bright white while the rest of the leather is 30 years aged. I kinda like the repair reminder and will enjoy seeing it age to match.

Hi I don't understand why they couldn't change the bottom vachette on your bucket bag! I have a canvas pm bucket and had all the vachette replaced even the bottom band!!!
I’m based in the US and had my monogram bucket bag vachetta replaced. They did it all including the base. I wonder if you could have that sent to another country to get the base replaced?
The cherry bag looks so silly still! 16:17 there’s no way that’s going to look close to base as it age in time. Get it reassessed again Meredith, it looks ridic! 😢 such a beautiful piece to look like that
Regarding LV repairs, I know a couple of fairly recent prices. They’re expensive, but, then again, they’re disassembling and reassembling the bag. A Noe’ gm vachetta replacement was $1060, and a Rendonne GM was $1310.
OMG, I have the Monogram Bucket Bag and it’s tattered and worn. I was wondering if LouisVuitton can restore it. The inside is leather. Please let me know if they can restore the inside.

I wonder if they couldn't replace the bottom VVN* because the shaper for the bottom canvas piece no longer exist and attempting to replace the leather would have resulted on a wonky bag? *is this how its written in the paperwork or is it actually Vivienne?

The cherries bucket is different to the standard design so they can’t be repaired the same.

VVN is correct. It’s about producing a new piece that is no longer licensed to be made. I think I’ll do a while video on that distinction.
Just wipe some olive oil on it. Will look normal
