@@boopededoop Obsessing over something won't make it become reality, you'll just waste your energy and time obsessing over a fantasy. Focus on yourself, meditate, or find new hobbies to distract yourself from it. By obsessing continuously over something means that you're allowing for it to have control over you, you're putting the person on a pedestal when you should be the more valuable one...basically, don't chase in any way or form.

Pile 1 resonated haha. We talk every day still, but since we want different things, I put an end to our talking stage and just asked for friendship because I don’t want to feel like I’m just satisfying their needs. Don’t know if those feelings are true, the ones described, but the part about their job being everything and them just wanting to be happy is very true. I feel maybe they’ll say they’re sorry (probs not actually), or just talk about it once more, but I’m not sure with their shy energy and want for a less committed life that they’ll want anything romantic from our connection. Definitely not marriage and kids, they’re very against that. When you said they were said and you almost cried, I was crying. I keep crying in readings about them, don’t know why. I wondered if it was empathy for their feelings of unhappiness right now and this somewhat confirmed it. Last thing is yes, my standards are very high and they know it and I do agree that they don’t feel like they can get to that level because of their confidence and again, them having different wants. I’ll come back if they do change their minds or put some action into our connection. If not :) I’ll come back to say when I’m finally over them haha. @@ylpinko98 For now, it’s not looking great haha. I saw them in person again and we went to the beach at night, looked at the stars and cuddled. Then a lot of stuff happened, right now they asked me for space and before that, I had asked them for space. It’s a really long, complicated story. I also told them I had unconditional love for them on the phone the day before I saw them lmao. I’m still kind of in love, I don’t know if it’s my idea of them or actually them, but I hadn’t felt this way in years. I’ll keep updating if anything happens. Right now we’re both in a sticky situation so I doubt we’ll talk for a while. I realized they’re very confident, they just don’t feel like they can trust others enough to be in a relationship. I also realized I have a lot to work on and I don’t want to be the version of myself I’ve been with them. It hasn’t been right, so this pause may be divine. That’s all haha 💜

Pile 2: I’m in no rush for anything to happen right away. I am talking to them and it’s definitely sporadic but the contact is there. Idk I actually told him I liked him for a while now but perhaps it’s the want for a deeper connection that prevents them from ‘reaching out’, fear of the superficial which, same lol. He mentioned a past relationship that messed with him, so that resonates. The “have faith in your dreams” advice hit home! Very vivid ones with them in it too. I’m also into nostalgic music and the song choice was ironic. All positive so far, a more solid friendship sounds really nice :) I’m optimistic ✨

They were so afraid of being rejected by us that they ended up hurting us so much and pushing us out of their lives. However, we were the ones undermining their confidence in the first place, so there's an element of shame and regret on our side. Deeply, we know we were the ones, along with the huge inconvenience of being in a different time and space, who forced them to become selfish - in a way. There's definitely a very big element of 'curse' here. It's tragic, in many ways, because on top of it all, there was this pure love that's been thrown into the trash. And that kind of love is hard to find.
