The movie was a story in my view, an emperor who had no ability to protect the woman he loved also he was unforgiving of her initial betrayal and decided to kill her and he Knew that the the brother was going to be killed. She chose to go with her brother and he did not want her for as long as she harboured him in her heart where he the emperor wanted to be her everything 😢 he mourned her for himself!!

Not sure if she died, but this is a great way for both her and her real love to stay together without being bothered. The guy had to tell her the truth eventually, so they might have gone into hiding. This ending is probably the best exit for both of the ML and FL. After all, her body is never found.🥸🦋
Tragic ending! Wasn't she recalled to answer to her family? Isn't her death the family's response to her having grown so close to the emperor? Didn't they see this as betrayal and kill her? She knew this was likely when she crossed that bridge the last time she saw him. Didn't she ask him not to kill them all?

Yeah!! that was a crazy ending. I thought that she discovered that her (brother) risked his life for her, so she decided to be with him. My other theory is that the emperor lied again. Remember, he promised that he would kill the people who tried to harm her, but when he found out it was his sidekick (empress's family), he did nothing.

Why was the ending so tragic - we don"t get proper closure at the end of this Drama, otherwise, v.good and well acted.
Did she really die or she deceived them? He has his concubines that he never would give up anyway so i don't think he will suffer too long.
