    How are you planning on tinting the tail lights?

    • @neil1
      @neil1  Год назад

      i ended up using a film tint i bought from Amazon, it was a big pain in the ass to install and if i was going to do it again i would have used a pro to do it

    I purchased exact same base bronco, color and everything. I plan on doing same size wheels 17x8.5 and 295x70r17 tires (33.5x11.8). These tires are about an inch less in height and width. Do you think I would still have to remove the crash bars to fit this size? Thanks

    • @neil1
      @neil1  Год назад

      sorry for late reply i missed it , yes i think you will have to remove crash bars easy to do 10 mins job

    So, there’s no lift on this… and you have 35s. I would not have thought possible. I know you said this in the video… but I just want to confirm… no lift?

    • @neil1
      @neil1  Год назад

      Correct no lift, and in day to day driving no issues except if you you are going to do off-roading with some articulation of the axles you may get a slight rub on full lock but it’s very minor.

    I have to assume that the tires throw off the speedometer reading, no? Wouldn’t it be reading slower than actual? Could that be throwingbof the trip computer’s mileage calculation? Or was there a way to recalibrate the speedo digitally?

    • @neil1
      @neil1  2 года назад

      Yes it throws off the miles by about 17% by my calculations, it can be recalibrated with Forscan software, via the OBD port

    Thank you for the video, Neil! Do you feel the difference in terms of power when comparing the stock tires of the base model to the Sasquatch-style 315-70-R17? Does is feel more sluggish with acceleration? What about steering and handling? Road noise from tires?
    Thank you!

    • @neil1
      @neil1  2 года назад

      Hey Maxim, i felt no difference in performance at all. The Bronco has alot of power its 300hp with premium gas, so 35"s do not phase it at all, and that tire size is available as a factory option. I am surprized how quick it its and mine is a 4 cylinder. Slightly more road noise and the ride is slightly harsher but not a problem, and its my daily driver. Truck handles extremely well, i threw it around the canyons in Malibu the other day and its quite impressive for a tall fairly heavy SUV

    Great taste. What was done to this base bronco, is it just the tints and wheels/tires? Thank you!

      So far it’s just those items more stuff to follow when it becomes available

    As a car appraiser, how would you rate the Bronco to a 4Runner TRD? I have been on the Bronco waitlist for a year and I am having a crisis. Tired of waiting.

    • @neil1
      @neil1  2 года назад +1

      I do like the 4 runner and Toyota products are very well built. I would say the Bronco is worth the wait, it is very unique and the build quality it good enough, may not be as good as the Toyota. It is also nice to buy from an American made and owned company.

    So, you're a vehicle appraiser and are surprised by the fuel economy? First, never... and I mean NEVER.. rely on the dash reported fuel economy numbers. They are never accurate. Second, and most importantly, you bought the aerodynamic equivalent of a brick, then reduced that efficiency by increasing rolling resistance and un-sprung weight. This vehicle was revived to compete with Jeep's offroad abilities, not compete with the EV community on efficiency. To configure a Jeep comparable to how your Bronco is set up, you'd spend in excess of $10k more and still not have a lot of the technical features provided in the Bronco. When you factor in that $10k vs the 4-6 mpg reduction from the Jeep, you can drive the Bronco a LONG time before your extra fuel costs offset the extra vehicle cost.

      well the new Land Rover Defender is rated at 27 mpg on the freeway and thats where this truck should have been, 20 mpg is not that good, while i like pretty much everything else, the fuel economy will bother alot of people i think

    Those big tires suck up a lot of mpg

    • @neil1
      @neil1  2 года назад

      They are not too bad i am figuring about 2 MPG from my calculations, you can get the higher spec model with 35" tires from the factory
