I wouldn't walk into a bank if I was the one who was supposed to unlock the door and I saw it was already open. I'd back away and call the police from a safe distance. After all, the robbers could have still been inside. What a horrific murder of the bank president.
Years ago I worked at a restaurant. Is openers would wait for the manager to come open the door to let us. One day the door was open so we thought she beat us there and walked in. About halfway in we here freeze put your hands in the air!!! The lights came on and we were surrounded by cops.turned out someone had broken in the back door and tripped an alarm. Philosophical question: what about a justice system that would execute murderers exactly in the same way as they killed their victims ? Aren't there sometimes cases in which you exactly would like to do just that ? You knocked someone on the head and then set afire his or her home ? OK, let's take you to your home... You attached someone to a chair and dropped him 30 feet down into a cold river ? OK, let's find another cold river and... a chair.
Should have given the brothers concrete slippers so they could find out what it was like to die the way they killed that man. Utter grubs to kill but to do it to keep someone silent over money is just reprehensible.
What they did to that man was so damn cruel
Man, that old couple do get around finding bodys!
They are good at it😁
After seeing the sceen, at the beginning when they threw him to the water, I couldnt watch the end, and see it again. So cruel!
Eye for an eye, why we are as tax payer have to pay for these criminals to live well .
Mercy of a higher order.
I totally agree with you, Sayed.
There is one organization called human rights. That gives more rights to criminals than the rist of the population
That is a question I cannot find an answer for 😤
Its okay, these days they just let criminals go here in Cali.
18 yr old Shannon who looked more like 30 started spending the cash on goods right after robbery, amateur hour
The brothers "windfall" inheritance seems partly the reason for their need to find an easy way to obtain money. They, as well as their mother apparently, had spent too much foolishly and, low on 'easy' cash, robbery and eventual murder was their solution.
Parental guidance from their mother at the time of her husband's death, was clearly absent.
Gretta--all they had to do is find and keep work and everything would have been better. They found that the crimes were not worth it.
@@stevebilliter I agree, Steve!

I’ve been a long time fan of true crime shows, particularly FBI files and similar. What I find shocking is the fact that the lives of innocent people have become so worthless to criminals. For instance in this case, the criminals got what they wanted and could have just let the bank president go. But instead they decided to kill him, and in such an inhuman way. It’s disgusting. The world is disturbed anyway and just getting worse as time goes by
@Me You What are you saying?
one reason i believe in the death penalty
Kam..Yup..it's called evil..I cannot even imagine...the way this poor man died..I hope that scumbag is shaking in his shoes the day he is executed..will probably never be what his victim experienced and his slow death.Too bad the other one died,he got off easy.
This has always happened.
Think about the Wild West in the U.S. were criminals murdered complete families for no reason. Criminals and psychopaths/sociopaths have and will always exist. Unless we find a way to prevent them emerging/becoming dangerous via genetics, medicine or psychological measures.
Kam...agreed The world is getting worse.so much widespread violence..They could have let this poor man live but a life meant no more to them ,than a bug under their feet.Thwy still have to answer to a Higher source
Why wasn't the two-tone van taken and searched? Why wasn't the mom charged? And the Gantz (sp) didn't give the name of the third unknown guy? Just a few thoughts.
You sure they didn't search the van? The mom probably wasn't charged because they couldn't actually prove anything against her. Gant might suspect but wouldn't know who the third guy was - assuming that he wasn't the third guy. Quite likely he was, but there was no proof against him.
That lady @ the bigging had MUSCLES 😂

The police ought to invest in some fishing poles, and for the record I attribute all credit to the old couple and the man with his children for solving this crime. True heroes live amongst us.

I think it was the Gant guy, but they probably let him off the hook for ratting out the other 2
Gant Sanders is one smart dude
I think it was the mom 👩
The third person was the MOTHER
The third accomplice may well have been Joe Agofsky's girlfriend at the time. Shannon Agofsky reportedly told a jailhouse informant that not only did he consider killing Agent Farley, but he also contemplated killing Joe and his girlfriend because he said that the girlfriend was also at the scene of the Short murder. She could have been the driver of the other vehicle.

Why the bank president neglect to switch on the alarm system ? Why the hell didn't he take a peep at the side window to see who was outside ?
The murderers mom surely must have knowledge of the crime and murder. She had lied to FBI about her son's whereabouts. Thus, she was an accomplice and should serve jail time.
However, having both sons in jail for life is an absolute punishment
A mother is going to try and protect her son as much as she can no matter what. She shouldn’t go to jail for it. It’s what moms do. I would protect my sons no matter what but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t try and get my son to turn himself in and take responsibility for Wutever it is he did. A mother’s love for her son is like no other . I kno I have 2 sons that I would do anything for 🤷🏻♀️ cuz I’m the one person in this world that will never turn their back on them no matter what.

Dont get any ideas
The third or the lookout person was their mother
Thank you, and she kept some of the money from the bank as well, she was probably the person who planned everything.
I remember this case from a Forensic Files episode. It's always shocking again what some people can do to a fellow human being. I'm not a proponent of the death sentence, but, knowing that these people will never enter society again is somewhat relieving.
In the country I live in, they WOULD enter society again, after a decade or two. Which is almost more shocking than the crime itself. They get a new identity, and they're able to begin a new life, A chance the victims never will get. Neither the victims, nor their relatives.
I agree with deathsentence when there's absolutely no doubt of the guilt. No 'but there is a lack of direct - he was there' evidence, etc. cuz Death is permanent and later finding that an executed person was INNOCENT is.... horrid to think of. and iirc, there's about 4 innocents on deathrow in america for every... what, 100 people put there? which statistically speaking that every 100 executions means at least 1 was innocent according to aquittals from deathrow and such prior to final sentencing and such.
The country you live in doesn't take the chance of executing of an innocent person. Since we now have DNA it's been proven the state murdered innocent victims . Then the jerk off prosecuter still screaming the guy is guilty.
@@kinagrill can you imagine the horror of being put to death knowing that you are innocent!and some Anus faced prosecuting attorney is screaming your guilty. DNA has proven someone's innocents and scumbag prosecuting attorneys fighting to keep you on death row. They should be jailed for false imprisonment the same amount of time the victim spent.
This really was a quaint little town where everyone seemed to know everyone, just about. I esp. like the town sign, Noel, at the entrance of the town. That's what I liked best, about it. And what a beautiful name Noel is.
This crime was so horrific. I had so much sorrow for that banker, how they buried that man alive, by drowning. A slow death, and the worst way to go. Some people just don't put a value on a life, they actually think money has more value, but a human being is priceless.
I thought for sure they would get the death penalty, but I'm really not for the death penalty, so this will give them time, to think about what they've done, and repent, or something.
I don't know what they were thinking, but they didn't have to kill him, because they had a mask on. Just take the money, and go. I know this, they wouldn't have hunted you down, too long, for stealing just money, but they would hunt you down, till the end of your life, for killing a human, that's just how priceless each human is. I pray many know this, and stop all of this senseless killing, and talk to God. That's what you need. God is ALL POWER, and He'll give you access to any amount of money, you want, without having to kill someone for it. That's not cool, at all. God owns it all money, real estate, whatever, whatever. Better learn how to talk to your Father.
C. Callie--God does not give anyone all the money they want--it would never work out well.

I don't understand: How do the bad guys get guns?
No, I do understand: one of the methods is to steal them from 'law-abiding' gun owners. 35:35
Why the quotes around Law-abiding? That makes it look as though they were complicit in their legally owned guns being stolen. Criminals, unfortunately, are going to get guns in any way possible, all of them illegal 🚫 since convicted felons are barred from legally possessing and purchasing firearms. Law-abiding citizens take whatever steps they can to keep their weapons safe from the criminal element, but those steps sometimes fail.
@@johnnabuzby6103 " That makes it look as though they were complicit " Not at all; there are many cases like this, on this very channel, where the 'suppliers' were not complicit:
ruclips.net/video/KlQVy9e8TlQ/видео.html - law abiding gun owner and his family killed, purely to get his guns, while he was armed

ruclips.net/video/bcZxoo0O40Q/видео.html - stolen from a 'law-abiding' gun owner.
ruclips.net/video/sEDxDN7q6bA/видео.html - sometimes legal gun owners simply turn bad
There are also examples of sales, and even just inheriting, guns.
" Criminals, unfortunately, are going to get guns" But only the US makes it so, so easy for them to get guns. Try that in other 1st World countries and one will likely be arrested before they succeed.
"Law-abiding citizens take whatever steps they can to keep their weapons safe from the criminal element" Then how do US criminals still acquire them so easily?
@Giuliano Skywalker So guns turned good guys into bad guys with guns? Or guns were sold from good guys to bad guys?

When they found 100.000 in an unlocked drawer that should have told them it was not the banker.
