I saw them attach big corals into that artificial structures... they should break them corals into smaller pieces. Corals tends to grow faster when broken to smaller pieces.
would stainless steel be better, for foundation, and for tools, to prevent rust, and reduce the stress on the coral, when trimming? are these coral, using photosynthesis or are they filter coral? has fire coral been gardened this way? would rubber dry suits be used to prevent stings? when using zip ties are they removed, after the coral roots? has an epoxy been created, that contains the nutrients required to grow a shell for the coral? that can be consumed and not remain as a toxic waste? dose coral react to ultraviolet lights? or ultraviolet light, from the sun? perhaps some fish and other animals see ultra violet colors that we cannot using regular lights or camera?
Something bit doesn’t make sense about this. Stony coral need strong water flow. If you need to brush sand on the coral, it might be the wrong place for them. Slow flow for soft coral, fast flow for stony coral

+RuneChaosMarine you worry too much.
they flip over already dead coral and then put it directly on top of healthy live coral that'll now get shaded out
