My brother caught a baby wild one in my back yard and raised it till it got big, then he let it go back to the herd when they came by across the ditch along side my yard. He came back a couple more times to get a hotdog and say hi. Turned out beautiful. He was brown with black spots. I tell you as he grew, he smelled like maple syrup. I couldn't get over it. You need a couple miniature donkeys (the ones with a cross on their back) I helped spoil one's in Tennessee when I lived their. They make the best pets. Looking forward to your next video.😁😁👍
Love the way you feed the deer’s, the deer hunter will put out feed to attack them until hunting season is over, then nothing. Loved seeing the animals. I do feed the birds and the deer but someone else has to take it out for me. Your parents and your grandma did a wonderful job raising you and I believe God blessed you with Rena and brought two wonderful people together. Yes New York State can get some rough weather in the winter but it's a beautiful state. Born there and spent at least half of my life there. I am most familiar with Otsego, Schoharie, and Delaware counties.
@@stevenhodges1 yes the winters are cold but Upstate New York is gorgeous. And one of the best places that you'll ever eat and one of my all-time favorites is Brooks BBQ in Oneonta New York. They have been in business since the 50's I believe and family-owned. They grill the chicken on huge indoor fire pits. They have their own special chicken marinade that they use and you can smell that chicken grilling for quite a ways away. They bottles their own barbecue sauce as well. Several years back it was actually one of the places that Rachael Ray visited. But it was famous to me long before that. I've always said I could eat that chicken everyday and never get tired of it. They have a lot of other great stuff on their menu as well. Actually the Oneonta and Cooperstown area have a lot of great places to eat but Brooks takes the cake.
Another great recipe I had to make and let me tell you my hubby enjoyed it so he ate it all from me. Then said to me your cooking is so much better so please keep them coming I am on a roll 🥘my nickname was burnitup but not anymore. Thanks for sharing and do take a few days to rest.

And also I sure wish I could fish in that pond. It looks amazing! I have been fishing since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It's one of my favorite things in life to do. Unfortunately all my immediate family is gone. They were my fishing buddies. I watched your last fishing with Miss Helen and enjoyed it so much! Thank you so much for the great videos!

Definitely an entertaining video. Good luck with this channel! Alittle hint, let the steak sit for 10 mins (at least 5) before you cook it. The juices in it disperse throughout the steak during that time and make it even juicier!

@@stevenhodges1 sadly she wasn’t. She was un affectionate, very bold and serious. She was distant and focused only on her roll as a serious ruler of discipline. I only saw her for a few months and she made it cleared we were unwanted. That’s why I believe your so lucky to have such a wonderful grandmother! People like me did not have that blessing.

Steven I am looking at lots of land in your video that is cleared off for anyone to work and drive which is lovely but can you think of a way to Get your grandma Helen woods cleared like that I see on one of her videos she is going to her woods by herself working and this is scary she needs help there with clearing land more you went there and did some work but it needs more. It seems she is not afraid of snakes and that is not good. Up around her house where she pulling out tomatoes and cutting need attending. I am 73 yrs old and concerned for her.

They have a tent to get under and water all around them they are very safe

We had chickens the neighbor pit bull killed them and our cat we had 13 years .

I like to watch your videos and your wife's and your grandma also it helps me pass the time this winter. I live in upstate NY and weather is cold like 2 below 0 this morning

Yes New York State can get some rough weather in the winter but it's a beautiful state. Born there and spent at least half of my life there. I am most familiar with Otsego, Schoharie, and Delaware counties.
@@stevenhodges1 yes the winters are cold but Upstate New York is gorgeous. And one of the best places that you'll ever eat and one of my all-time favorites is Brooks BBQ in Oneonta New York. They have been in business since the 50's I believe and family-owned. They grill the chicken on huge indoor fire pits. They have their own special chicken marinade that they use and you can smell that chicken grilling for quite a ways away. They bottles their own barbecue sauce as well. Several years back it was actually one of the places that Rachael Ray visited. But it was famous to me long before that. I've always said I could eat that chicken everyday and never get tired of it. They have a lot of other great stuff on their menu as well. Actually the Oneonta and Cooperstown area have a lot of great places to eat but Brooks takes the cake.

@Steven Hodges. I have 4 grand daughters that I love beyond words. No grandsons. Miss Helen sure is fortunate to have such a caring grandson as yourself. And also I sure wish I could fish in that pond. It looks amazing! I have been fishing since I was knee high to a grasshopper. It's one of my favorite things in life to do. Unfortunately all my immediate family is gone. They were my fishing buddies. I watched your last fishing with Miss Helen and enjoyed it so much! Thank you so much for the great videos!

I only saw her for a few months and she made it cleared we were unwanted. That’s why I believe your so lucky to have such a wonderful grandmother! People like me did not have that blessing.

Steven I am looking at lots of land in your video that is cleared off for anyone to work and drive which is lovely but can you think of a way to Get your grandma Helen woods cleared like that I see on one of her videos she is going to her woods by herself working and this is scary she needs help there with clearing land more you went there and did some work but it needs more. It seems she is not afraid of snakes and that is not good. Up around her house where she pulling out tomatoes and cutting need attending. I am 73 yrs old and concerned for her.
I can only do what she will allow me to do I ask her all the time but she enjoys doing it her self I do try
