- Hello and welcome to Stingray Tom's Florida
Today's video is part 3 of my series on the St. Johns River - Florida's longest and most important river. The Middle basin of the river - from Sanford on Lake Monroe, north to Lake George and the town of Welaka, just to its north. Enjoy!
Stingray Tom's Florida is a history channel with a focus on Florida's tourism history. I cover many aspects of the stories of Florida's attractions, both old and new and how they impacted the Sunshine State, tourists, the US and even the world!

Thank you very much! I really enjoy it and the channel is growing.
A paradise for houseboat cruising.
Love ❤️
Old maps show in Seminole and Volusia County the county line runs right down the middle of the river
Indeed - even today, Volusia's entire west boundary is the St. Johns.
