If you just drop a chain loop through the front top track pad hole, stick a bar in it then pull track backwards on the track then on the other side you will get the trans moving and out of gear instead of banging on the levers like a monkey.
Your amazing teaching the grand daughters what you know and the fact they want to learn speaks volumes. On April 29th I am undergoing back surgery and I am looking forward to your videos as I heal. Kepp it up and God Bless
Value the time you spend with your family my parents are gone God rest their souls good luck hank I always liked the videos you done with wile take care hank take care and God bless you and your family 😊
I just wanna say I think it's a wonderful thing that you do for your granddaughter's family's. The most important thing take them with you. Enjoy them. Teach them what you do. And I love their programs in your program on fixing their Chevy square body. Continue the good work. God bless you and your family and your granddaughters
@@HamiltonvilleFarmI didn’t notice that chain just came off that’s why the bobcat skid steer was having trouble pulling the John Deere dozer out lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🔧 Glad you are teaching them being safe around those chains. I see to many people hanging around chains and cables when trying to drag things up on trailers and out of the weeds.
From what the camera showed, Dove did an excellent job driving your truck with the trailer behind it, she understood what you were talking about easily, she's a natural! Zee did a great job of hooking up the chain so Dove could snap it, I knew it wasn't going to hold, but it's already done by the time we get to watch it going on. Those girls are very smart, it's great to see them learning about the things you're showing them. The pretty girls are going to be beautiful women in no time, I can only imagine how many boys are trying to get a date with either one, God bless them. Love you brother, It's awesome that you include Scripture at the end of your videos 🙂
🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧Those Girls are learning a TON of valuable skills & won't really realize it for years to come + they are gonna be Good equipment operators & that's a Valuable Skill that'll last them a lifetime. I Love watching these Hamiltonville Farm adventures, although I did miss Wiley letting us all know if "it's MAKIN OIL" or Not ?? 😎 looking forward to part #2.
🔧🔧🔧 I remember back in school they would say "You broke my chain" but they were talking about necklaces......lol. 😅 im glad no one was hurt, chains can be replaced. I was thinking maybe the TYM could pull it, but it may not have. You could certainly try it. But that dozer is awfully heavy. Hopefully a solution can be made. Thanks for sharing, Hank! Dub and Z did great.....they're awesome!! 😎 God bless you all!
Breaking the chain was a great teaching moment, before hand you told them to always be cautions when under tension, and then they saw it. If it had not broke they may have forgotten it, but now they will remember for the rest of their lives todays lesson.🔧🔧
Hank, you have all the patience I have little. I’m 73 years old. Been working with heavy machinery/ equipment all of life. The only way anyone can learn from me is Like you. Watch me. I can’t explain what I do. I just do it. I just jumped on equipment and did what needed to be done Back in the day. No safety precautions
Hello Hank and granddaughters. I would have suggested pushing the dozer a bit from the rear in case the gearbox was stuck in place and moving the opposite direction MIGHT release tension. May not, but worth a try. Too late now as the video is out and you aren't there to try with the track loader. That would be a near free thing to try. Probably won't react differently, but wouldn't know unless you try it.
She's running that thing like a champ I love watching them learning how to work the machinery tell Z get on board and get more practice and experience 😊
🔧Hello there. Dub sure did a very awesome job clearing a path for the dozer and if you would have had a 1978 ford f350 1 ton 4x4 stick shift truck that definitely would have pulled out the dozer along with a thicker chain
Wowza Papa Ham, you &these granddaughters are quite the team.I really enjoy seeing you allow them to get hands on learning, they'll never ever lose these memories.Lol😂,the look on Dubs face when that chain broke
Ok the chain should have links the size of your hand and metal the size of your wrist. :-) Think ship chain. Only need 10' and then feeders to it in more loops to build them up in value.
🔧 good job y'all. Great try bigger equipment and she's going to a new home no problem. Ten years of sitting is hard on anything. Good job on pulling the trailer looks like she's going to be a naturally gifted truck driver for you around the family farm to gain a little more experience lots of adults don't have this gift so hone it the best you can while this kind of equipment is available to learn on. That's a pretty surprising revelation for a new young driver kudos to you and keep up the good work.
The girl's are doing a great job, learning the equipment and helping, excellent to see the younger generation, off their video game's 😂 thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones

Slow and easy wins the race..dad always said you got yo crawl before you can walk..53 years later..its a great profession to be in !
Hey Hank.... tell your grand daughters if they ever decide to be a truck driver to hollar at me, and I'll be glad to teach any of them how to drive a big rig
🔧🔧⛓🔗🔧🔧Dub hard on the chains! Hey...but I saw papaw give the old...yank it! signal lol I'd say that's one solid rig you guys are trying to move. Good driving by Dub and the commentary was spot on..."white one trying to move the yellow one" 😄 Granddaughters...like so many have said, hang out and watch, listen and learn all you can from papaw (even if it sometimes feels boring) trust me you will benefit from it as you get older in life. Love the Holley shirt Z and Hank, I saw that piece in the console....maybe do some shooting vids with the girls sometime! God bless y'all!!
Chain breaking was Hanks fault. Using the lawnmower chain instead of a cat D8 recovery chain. Always use overkill during recovering, to help mitigate failures. Great job for having the young ladies helping .
@@HamiltonvilleFarmI think it was zees fault break the chain from your bobcat skid steer whoops 😬 lol😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Couple guys are going to be very lucky to be with either of these young women with the skills they are learning more families need to spend time and teach skills to their children like this family. They will be such a asset to society!
Any time you pull anything with a chain or rope/cable you should ALWAYS drape something over the line in case it snaps. That way if it breaks, instead of it flying off somewhere where it could either damage something or hurt somebody, the weight of the draped object will make it fall to the ground safely.
Dove, you got it going on. Being beautiful and productive at the same time. You really care what’s going on. Hey you’re pulling off. Keep it up It will be in your favor down the road
Got to say Hank, you got some good help those girls are precious. Don’t let nothing happen to them. Ok it’s time time to get Wiley and get that big truck lowboy and have him winch that bulldozer out of there.
well sence the "case guy" did not tell you i will. you know that little lever just below the shiftting levers. well it's a shift lock. try pulling that up and you will be able to shift it. case guy. o my.
You have a lot of back pressure on the transmission from pulling it back. try pushing the dozer forward to take the pressure off to push the neutral stick into neutral.
Your granddaughters did very good driving and skid steer and we should let them try out a big tractor trailer driving You girls have fun, scaring your grandpa
You may have to get the beast running, maybe a temporary fuel source,or put an electric pump inline. A electric shut off at the pump should be obviousbut a jumper wire will fix that. If the throttle is frozen ,disconnect at pump and set in the midrange to fire up.Get fuel to the pump, then bleed injectors. Mine has a loader with a forward reverser,lo,hi,reverse. Its clutch pedal is actually a dump valve. It doesn't have a pressure plate and disc.If you have that depressing the clutch will do nothing unless running. It's gears are probably binding a bit or rust from condensation is causing binding. It can be a little touchy to get neutral on the shifter.
what made you think that your bobcat would pull that dozer, the dozer weights more than the bobcat pluss the dozer will not move , something is hung up either in the transmission and the tracks or both lol.
▶Watch me try to crank it here: ruclips.net/video/wyPSlQ5olHs/видео.html
I watched it crank, but will it run? Thats the question.
Glad the grand daughters don't look nothing like their great grandpa. 😅😂. Nice to see them interested in your work.
