  • We LOVE the eco farmers's market (The Parsley Market) in Podgorze, Krakow. You will find us here most Saturday mornings chatting with our favourite farmers and enjoying excellent cheeses, fish, meats, veg, drinks and more. Sone great characters. Nina gets to practice her Polish too!

We are waiting until Poland opens back up to Americans. We visited for 5 days back in 2018 and what a wonderful time seeing the beautiful city. I noticed you didn't purchase any kiszka at the meat counter; you need to get over to Milkbar Tomasza and have some with eggs for breakfast. Absolutely to die for. I enjoy your vlogs and this one was quite good.

You bought Elderberry juice . Czarny bez is Elderberry in English.
Parsley market is an ecological market. Prices are displayed clearly so I would not barter .
Every week you will have more and more stalls with more products and fruits.
On one stall someone had an ecological apple vinegar, recommended to drink in the morning, a few drops in the glass of water.
You love the veal as propoblly is like an equivalent of spring lamb, very young meat.
In the West veal sold is more mature , resembles more beef then veal. Thanks for my Krakòw again ❤

Elderberry …aaaah. You are spot on about the veal. Would be great to find some spring lamb too. Really enjoying the fish too. Not so keen on apple vinegar, but I think that same stall last week had garlic pesto, which was excellent! Tomorrow I hope to visit the big flea market

@@planetkrakow on Google just enter Targ pietruszkowy: a map will pop up for you in English. To your right ( facing the market) you find some stalls in the undergrand in the building. I think its for the higiene reason ( powerful fridgers). Soon while summer progresses meat and fish will be moved underground.
I can see lamb ( jagnięcina) and mutton ( baranina) is on that map.
My friend tells me that ready made pierogi are very good too ( underground) cheers.

The food which people eat in America is a garbage- you can’t compare it to the food on this video.... it’s mean the quality of life isn’t that good now in some part of the globe because that quality is not only about the money... is about good health system, food, education etc .... great video !
