- DANCING WITH THE STARS Professionals Cheryl Burke, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Ashly DelGrosso, Jesse DeSoto, Tony Dovolani, Elena Grinenko, Nick Kosovich, Edyta Sliwinska, Karina Smirnoff, and Louis Van Amstel dance the jive.

all the pros are good, but Karina Smirnoff is phenomenal. I've never seen anyone move the way she does. She is incredible and amazing to watch. I heard she was ranked number 2 in the world. I wonder who's number 1, because I really can't imagine anyone dancing better than her.
I love watching Karina and Maks dance together.
This is one of the best dances I've seen the Pros do!!!!!
OMG this was a great number! Fabulous dancers, every one of them! They are all top-notch, all of my favorites are dancing and love the choreography, BUT MAX IS SINGLE! O0000HHH YEH!!!

Edyta is my favorite....
But I also like Maks and Karina.
I find this version much more fun than the UK version to be honest. Karina is too good. Her section with Max was damn hot.
My favorite would have to be Cheryl Burke she is so good
Look at Karina! She's perfect! She's the best dancer, certainly. Perfect and clean-cut moviments. Nobody moves like she does.
Personally, I like Elena and her style the best.

Karina puts all the other girls to shame. She's amazing.
I have really really tried to like this version, but SCD's is SO much better. No one is better than Cutler/Cutler!
The dance is far better in the UK version and so is the singer!
I love each and every one of the professional dancers on DWTS
But Cheryl and Louie are my all time favorite:-)

The guy in the right hand corner that you mentioned is Nick Kosovich & unlike the rest of the dancers who specialized in latin dancing his specialty was American Smooth (Foxtrot,quickstep etc). That could very well be why his jive was a bit slower than the others.
I agree on the fact that all of the dancers are awesome, but my fave is Louis!!!

I'm a Huge fan of Karina Smirnoff, but I must say, Strictly has some professionally undefeated world champions too.
I like this version better too. It's a faster jive than the UK one and it's more exciting to watch. The UK version spent too much time repeating moves, especially when it was only the women dancing.

well, if you have an atheletic build and are not severely injured, go for it! it's more fun than anything!
This is one of my favorite pro dances!!!
Maks and Karina are actually a pretty good match... it would be cool to see them as a couple in competitions
wow that was awesome! maks is so fricking fine
karina and maks work well 2gether because they are ( well were) partners in real life. so the're use to working together, until like one competition when they got into a fight and maks just like left the dance floor. he's got a temper but he's fine as hell
Elena Grinenko - she was his professional partner as well as a pro on DWTS.
Karina and Max are incredible! As far as their workout schedule it's extremely intense, the average pro spends almost everyday dancing 5-8 hrs and working out at the gym as well.Weights and cardio are very important to help with thier dancing. But I know they sell dwts workout dvd's and also The New York City ballet has workout dvd's out that are incredible too.

I saw the SCD version of this. It's longer, but it's a tie if not a little lower in quality since there were a lot of repeat steps, which we shouldn't see in a great pro group dance.
Jive is a fast dance so yes for Jive faster is better other than that I agree with you

i was just about to say what most people are saying - the UK dance outclassed this. i just think the uk version (the ORIGINAL) is generally better. matthew cutler is genius with choreography

I was confused with Elena and Edyta at first, because they're so equal with the same haircolor, but then I looked at their costumes and remembered that Edyta always dresses with the least covering clothes,

Not sure if I'm allowed to post links. Search for "Strictly Come Dancing Pro Jive". They're wearing green costumes. While this one is good, the SCD one is fantastic!
What do you think of the dancing on this American one, comparatively? I think I much prefer the English one..mainly because they do more "group" dancing, even though there is the section with individual couples. On this one, I just get so confused!

Wait...are you Brit or American?! I am so confused! I'm guessing British.
I just wish I'd seen the English version live on telly...I didn't, but heard about it and had to watch it on RUclips. Unfortunately, all of the versions aren't really high quality, which annoys me!

Im English & bloody hell the US pros are much better than the UK ones. Has this been sped up a bit? Cos they seem to be dancing quicker tempo than the UK.

this comes nowhere near the uk version.....these are all about appearences...look at the footwork in the uk one in series 5....much better and faster.
i think the girl pro dancers hav such nice bodies....they need to post up their work out videos or something....lol

Really?! I thought that the overall song was better on the Brit version. The guy on this one just doesn't have any sort of...passion, maybe? And it *is* a passionate song...it's called Rebel Yell, for godssakes!!!
does any one agree with me that this singer slaughtered this song? The dancing was great but the song...give me the original anyday.
