    This way is how teachers should teach English. This technique helps absorbe everything faster . Unfortunately other teachers only write catchy titles.

    Very nice and valuable lesson. I like very much this expression: to sleep in. I usually sleep in, because I don't work for many years, I'm retired. Thanks a lot Teacher, for this excellent video!

    Sleep in is something that you decide to do. You sleep in because you want to and you can. It isn't an accident. Most people sleep in on weekends because they love to relax more.
    Oversleeping is always an accident, it isn't something you plan to do. My brother overslept yesterday and he missed the bus. So he was late for work.
    Thanks, Mike

    Be quiet, don't bother your dad; he needs to sleep in a bit more. Tomorrow, don't sleep over; we have to go to the gym earlier.
    Thank you a lot, Mike. thought that 'sleeping late' means we go to bed late at night!

      You're welcome! And you need to say "oversleep". "Sleep over" means to sleep at a friend's house.

    Can i say İ went to sleep at 10.00 pm but i slept late at 04:00 am

    • @TeacherMikeEnglish
      @TeacherMikeEnglish  8 месяцев назад

      No. That means that you started sleeping at 10:00 and stopped sleeping at 4:00.
      I think you want to say "I went to bed at 10:00pm, but I couldn't fall asleep until 4:00am."
