This track gives off a "this is a special news bulletin." kind of vibe, which made it a little more enjoyable in some parts of the game.
God this music brings back my childhood all wrapped in 90's goodness one of my favorite game soundtracks
90s were such a good time.
If a zombie apocalypse was to ever happen this would be my go to music while outside

Damn this is such a cool song. I get the sense the game primarily aimed for a silly, humorous tone more than anything, but the enemy AI and level design is genuinely stressful, and you add on music like this and it completely alters the atmosphere and feelings you get playing. There's a sense of actual dread when 0:31 starts kicking in, especially if you're down to just one or two victims to save, or when you desperately need some decent items and all the houses come up empty. You get that a lonely feeling like there's no one left to save, and nothing left to help you. But on the flip side, the enemies are absolutely relentless and seemingly never stop coming!
It's perfect, and I don't know how this style of game never caught on in the indie scene, or that there was never a true sequel.

One of the best soundtracks ever it's so creepy and well thought out and very full sounding
Its 2023 and this is still one of my top 5 favorite video games of all time

I played this game as a child in the very early 2000s. My brother and I loved this. To this day it is such a nostalgia and great memories together even as we're much much older now (and he is 8 years older than me). The SNES really brought us together so much that even if this sounds so cheesy, he was my only friend I had when I was a child. Playing this, Mario Kart, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Demon's Crest, Out To Lunch, Killer Instinct, Mega Man X, Super Mario World 2 (Yoshi's Island), all those games, holy shit so much memories.

As it should lol. There were very few types of "horror games" for SNES/Genesis. This one is more lighthearted, but Castlevania: Bloodlines was by definition a horror game.

I'm 35, and I remember the intensity of some of those levels, I think Nightmare on Terror Street is one where you only have one victom to save and the level is getting dark and once it gets dark the werewolves come out.
@@Shishizurui Dr. Tongues castle, the first one, you have to use your blue shoes to run and get the victims before half of them turn into werewolves. I remember that clearly lol. BTW me and you are the same age. I got this game for my 7th birthday, way back. Wish I still had it.
@@kingbaby8761 your probably with me in the idea that the remaster should have let you split up?, also a quick select weapon/item menu would have been a huge upgrade to this game. this guy's talkin about being scared n stuff right where i'm sitting right now is in a basement that is still a gameroom 30 years later that i've upgraded hardcore BUT me and my sister both agree you can't take the spookiness outta playing old sega games down here.
@@Shishizurui yeah they should have modified the game, the game is awesome but the multi-player sucked, also sucked siphoning through all your items top to bottom like you are playing console Doom with far more items.

MAN, IT'S THE FIRST TIME I EVEN dared to listen to the snes ost.. maybe because i played the genesis one i preffer it ahhaha but i preffer alot of snes ost over megadrive.. this one is different... sounds like a midi file converted from the megadrive
