The graphics in this gameplay actually look better than what we got in the beta. I'm not sure if its just less contrast or maybe it was that terrible film grain effect on everything but the beta looked lackluster compared to this.
Graphics from battlefront 1 and this are really amazing. But I hope gameplay will be a little diffrent then It was in battlefront 1. It was quite boring after a 20h gameplay. for me.
I wish the instruments worked, and could replace the HUD. You have a targeting scope (show when your lined up and what direction you need to aim to hit), the artificial horizon could also show engine/weapon balance, and the third one could show cooldowns. Done. Perfect starship sim.
One thing I've got to say about Battlefront 2's air combat is that it looks really dull. I like how in Battlefield 1 even when flying a plane you can see the ground battle and feel involved in it as you drop bombs, strafe infantry and have air defenses fire back but here it just looks like flying around in a relatively underpopulated sky. Maybe it's just Theed being a dense city with a majority of the battle being indoors that gives it this feeling, but it just looks lackluster and disconnected from the rest of the conflict.

@Westie are the controls for flying the same as BF1 MP, or is it use mouse to turn direction instead of tilting to the sides? if it is the former, that's good, if the latter, it's gonna be a disappointment since to me, from the gameplay I seen so far from people that it seems really casual af (I wonder how much they "change" and "up the skill level" from BFront 2, because it seems none)
Yeah that would be so cool but people complain that there is someone sitting in the back of the map with a ton of kills and no deaths, and the only way they could be killed was by plane, I think if they somehow brought the commander role from bf4 they could work in artillery as one of his abilities.
Why won't EA and other companies that have aircrafts,spaceships etc. use the same conrol layout as for example war thunder.I think that the War thunder,despite that it's a free to play game,has the best aerial controls!

I hope the flying has gotten better. In the first one it was literally fly straight and hold down the lock on aim button until something blew up
