Thank you so much for this! My first trip is December 1st and it’s just my son & I. These videos are a Godsend for me. I’m overwhelmed as it’s all me to plan and I want to make this special for my 7 year old.
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you for this! I’ve been binge watching your videos prepping for my trip this month!! ❤️❤️
Have fun! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you so much! I have been worried for the longest about the weather and what to expect! Thank you

As always, very timely. Thanks!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you! We went in November before without being prepared and froze. This video was a great reminder to be prepared so we can fully enjoy our January trip!

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Helpful video! I reached a point I can look at the 7 day weather and plan accordingly. It’s going to be in the lower to mid 60s low and high 70s to lower 80s high which I am SO HAPPY ABOUT. I just hope with hurricane Nichole nothing is ruined 😩 leaving Sunday!
Glad it was helpful! Nicole hasn't ruined anything per Disney, Enjoy! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you. I come from a warm climate and have been struggling with preparing
Happy to help! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Same here! Going this month. This video helped a lot!

You are so welcome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
helpful as always! our trip is getting close!
YAY!
This is perfect going to WDW next January
FUN! Thanks for watching/commenting!
This was by far the most helpful video I’ve found on what to wear during winter. Do you pack hot hands as well?
And yes you can. I did talk about them a little bit in the video. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Very helpful! Thank you! We leave in 30 days! 🎉
Perfect! Its getting a little chilly right now. Thanks for watching/commenting!
I remember going January 2010 and it was freezing!!! I remember taking pictures with Snow White in Epcot and we were both bundled up!!!
Yep, sadly it can be very chilly...even the characters have "winter" gear. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank for the great tips! The first time I went to Florida, it wasn’t Disney, but it was the first week of November. My mom swore it was going to be really warm since she had always known it to be at that time. I had the pants I wore there, from Maine, and then packed only shorts. I was cold the whole time and had to do laundry several times just to wear my pants most if the week. So I totally agree Florida can get cold when you least expect it. Go prepared!
100% After my WAY too HOT honeymoon in Orlando...I have learned to ALWAYS check the temp and pack accordingly, lol. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Great Video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching/commenting!
I just love your packing videos!! ❤
I do have a Genie+ question though...if I get our 1st Genie+ ride at 7am and the park we are going to that day opens at 8am, would I be able to get another one at that time or have to wait the 2hrs between?
Its 7am and then 2 hours AFTER Park Opening. So usually like 7am and 11am if you are stacking. Otherwise once you use that first pass, you can get another. I am actually doing an updated Genie+ Video with this type of info very soon. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Your videos are always so helpful. My family went in November back in 1999 and we expected to be so hot....but my parents had to drive to walmart and get us pants/jackets/etc because it was expensive to buy them on property! So, I was already keeping that in mind with our upcoming trip. Hoping we get lucky and get really comfortable weather hahahaha
That is awesome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Such great tips. I went in 2017 in late November and there were record breaking lows it was in the 20s and 30s in the mornings and evenings and only 50s mid day. We packed for cool, but not prepared for freezing temps. I found some great low profile puffer jackets on Amazon that are rated down to 0°F, and roll up into a little bag that I can fit 2 into the bottom of my full size Jansport nicely with plenty of space for other stuff. We are doing a Christmas party one night and fireworks at Epcot the next so they may come in handy. I love a capri that is quick dry. They are great for Tiana or rain and they are cooler than pants and warmer than shorts.
Awesome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Nina can you make a video for WDW 12/16-1/1 what it’s like, is everything still open, are there any special things going on, is this a good time to go?
Everything would be open, just like it is now. They do have special Christmas things - SEE this video and yes its a FUN time to go...just crowded. ruclips.net/video/wGU6_50WGdU/видео.html Thanks for watching/commenting!
I proposed to my wife in Dec. 2019. Definitely was cold. We overpacked and had too much bulk, and now we'll be going back this upcoming December. This time, we'll pack light, and I got a narrow backpack for a lighter carry but better than a sling bag. One thing I will get before I go is a new pair of brooks ghosts because I walked 115,000 steps for 5 days and couldn't feel my feet afterward.
100%, lots of steps! That was a cold year, we went in Dec 2019 too. Congrats and Enjoy! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Hi Nina, I am in heaven. I am at Disney Resort, watching your video.😄
It was a very first day of Mickey’s very merry Christmas party day. The weather was terrible but I had such good time. I was able to ride Seven Dwarfs 3 times in 35 minutes.😁 I am still hoping that tropical storm Nicole will not head toward FL.
Love your video!
FUN! Stay Dry and thanks for watching/commenting!
I am going in 3 weeks and starting to doubt my packing so this was a relief. Would you still wear shorts during the day or does it not get that warm? 🐭
Really depends on the weather when you are there. You could be wearing shorts/pants and a jacket? Thanks for watching/commenting!
Omg thank you! I’m going to Disney world for the first time this Thursday and it’s going to be so cold- 😭 also, do you think I could wear uggs?
I know, going too. Eek. Bundle Up. Thanks for watching/commenting!
We are bringing a buggy for the our 5 year old. Are things safe hanging from your buggy handles? Would hate to come back from a ride and find our winter coats gone!!
Sadly there are not so nice people at Disney too...so as I can't promise your stuff will be safe 100% of the time, I can say that stealing isn't common at the Parks. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Thank you!! We are Wisconsin-ites coming dec 9-16!!
Awesome! Thanks for watching/commenting!
Same Time from Germany
And i am a Packers Fan for years
Party only on Sunday and anticipate having mugs from Trader Sam's to secure.
You mentioned lockers. Are there plenty of them?
Where can I find that hat? so cool
Sadly its an older Disney Store Beanie. Thanks for watching/commenting!
One more question. You mentioned refillable coffee or free. Do you need to have a disney refillable mug or will any mug do.
Its a Special Disney Resort Mug that you have to Purchase. Only works at Disney Resorts. Thanks for watching/commenting!
What is a resort mug?
We can pack any mug? 🤔
NOPE! They are sold at Disney Resorts and only a purchased Refillable Mug works on the machines. They look like the one I showed in the video. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Do the pools close during this season
Nope. Pools are heated at the Disney Resorts. They will close during Thunderstorms. Thanks for watching/commenting!
What are your trip dates??? 11-28 by chance?
December? Yep...there will be some overlap :)
Did you say " On the Google" LOL.......
I sure did, LOL. Thanks for watching/commenting!
Oh my sooo. silly
What backpacks do you like to use for the winter time? 😊
Depends on how much you are carrying. I think I mentioned my Vera Bradley Campus Backpack. Its the size of a school Backpack, but soft, light and washable. Thanks for watching/commenting!
