You want to die adventurous, do it yourself, don't drag other folks on the water into your stupidity. Suggestion: Why not fly against a big, sharp rock? A rock will not have bad dreams or remorse when you smash your head against it (a sailor, on the other hand, most definitely would).
Haha I'm kind of surprised they put that crossing in an ad. Really regardless of the two crafts involved that's too close at those speeds. If you have to pump to miss it by 10' and then after crossing immediately fall off the wind because to make it you had to cheat up...well then you know you should have just ducked underneath instead. At least my 10c.
