  • STACKING TECH 21 PEDALS WITH A DINGWALL D-ROC BASS
Here are some cool examples of what happens when i stack some of my favorite Tech 21 Pedals together.
1 I always use my VT BASS Pedal as a core sound with the parallel out going to my GT2 on a distorted sound that I run to a second channel and pan it hard right.
2 I do 3 examples using the VT BASS and then adding one pedal at a time per example and pan that hard left.
3 The examples are 1- VT BASS + YYZ 2- VTBASS + BASS DRIVER 3- VT BASS + PARA DRIVER
4 The pedals are not set radical so that when you stack them they don’t overload each other but create a nice super punchy over driven sound that gets even fatter than using one at a time, it’s all about experimenting with different eq and gain levels as well as coming out of the parallel out with the GT2 really adds to a wider more 3d type of bass sound that you can pan in different placements to your liking I went hard left and hard right for channel 1 and 2 in this example.
5 Everything was recorded direct into my sound card going into 2 channels at the same time
6 This video is part of a 3 different bass series where I used a Dingwall Passive D-ROC in this one and the other 2 upcoming videos are a Musicvox 8 string signature Bass and a Spector Classic Active Bass so that you can get the different ranges of the reaction from the pedals and these awesome instruments, be sure to check them out.
Thanks for hanging out and tripping Bass with me, I wish you an awesome day or evening where ever you are!!!!!! M

how would your chain be live with no 2 channel option? If you were going to FOH with only 1 xls cable or into an amp on stage with only one input? thank you

Hey Derek ...well you would need a direct box that has a parallel out ....that means that you plug your instrument into the input of the di box then the xlr out of the di box goes to the foh with one signal and then the other output coming from the di box is the parallel out which would go to say your amp which in reality is your personal monitor . what ever you plug into the input of your di is like making an identical u turn out to to the parallel output so if you plug in a dry bass into the input then a dry bass with come out of the output to foh as well as a dry bass out of the Parallel output if you plug a dirty signal into the di input such as say your pedalboard with distortions or fuzz then that is what will come out of both outputs as well as the foh ....really i like to keep one dry clean signal going at all times under my dirty sounds of it can control the definition of the notes and not get lost in all the noise....i hope that helps , have a great-night you rock M
