Thank you for sharing , this means a lot to me, I appreciate you both. My husband and I are childless not by choice. This channel has been such a positive and inspiring place for us, and is helping us navigate through everything we’ve been going through
thank you for sharing your story x i am currently dealing with my third miscarriage and although utterly confused i know that childfree after loss is not off the table for us and it is nice to know we are not alone
Much love to you. My sister and her Husband travelled a similar road. Though my sister could get pregnant she couldn't carry them beyond 3 to 4 months. The technology wasn't yet available that may now have helped them. It was heart breaking. But she is a wonderful aunty and great Aunty. We shared the birth of my first child and they continue to be close. We are family. Thank you and much love and hugs.
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing with us. Much love to you and your sister and her husband. We also have much joy in being an aunty and uncle ❤️
Just watched your latest blog. We feel very moved and proud that you have spoken so eloquently on this subject. Hope It helps people who are facing this problem. Love and hugs to you both. Mum and dad, Anne and John xx
Thank you for sharing so sensitively and considerately. I made a choice not to have children, this is still a rare decision and nobody ever asks me about it, just awkward comments and change of subject.😂 I love my life, and the experience I’m having. I do like your perspective on the what if. Love your videos and your creativity.
Thank you for explaining your infertility because I was always curious about the story behind that intro to your videos. I can see the raw feelings and how it did make you both sad. You opened up showing us all the beautiful truth of how you two are amazing people bearing your hearts. You have me support more now than ever before. Keep your spirits up as you always have.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Having children should always be a personal choice and not something that is forced on you by grandparents as it were. Of my children two chose not to have children, one can't have children and the other two have one child each. My children are very happy in their lives. Whether they are the ones with children or not. God bless you both.
Thank you so much. We definitely agree that no one should have to be a parent if they don't want to be, and it's lovely to hear all your children are happy, whether they have children or not.
Hi, thank you so much for sharing this. I’m currently going through a difficult situation and sometimes I feel worthless and want to cry. I can’t control my emotions; it’s like a rollercoaster. I’m not sure if I’m emotionally stable or if I should seek counseling. I dislike getting advice from people who have never experienced these feelings because they tend to normalize the situation and offer advice without understanding the hellish experience we’re going through. Anyway, a million thanks to both of you. I hope I’ll be alright one day.
Thank you for reaching out and sharing with us. We hope you'll be alright too. If you're able to seek counselling from someone with experience of infertility, that may be very helpful x
Brilliant for sharing your story ❤ - We had 10+ years of failed IVF and IVF is incredibly difficult.. it’s a harder than anything we’ve ever done, mentally and physically. We now have 2 boys but you need to be at peace with your own choices.. it’s so good that you can make your peace with where you are.. I’m v jealous of your boat btw !!!
Thank you so much for sharing this. I absolutely love how you have embraced life despite it taking a very different turn to that you had planned. ❤Thank you also for touching on and acknowledging those of us who are child free by choice. It does still have a stigma attached and I am often challenged and judged for my life choice. Keep on keeping on. sending love. Roo xox
Thank you Roo, we know quite a few people who are childfree by choice (and in a way we could be considered childfree by choice, as we chose to stop and embrace childfree life). Regardless of whether we come to this choice through infertility or just knowing ourselves to know it is not what we want, it's still a choice we have made and deliberated over, and should be respected.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. Infertility is such a horrible and hard road, one that i know well. You show great courage to share this and it will bless many people to see your story xx
Thank you for being open about this. It's important for people who are in a similar situation, and still a brave thing to do. I'm glad you found your way to a happiness together. It may not be the happiness you imagined years ago but it's still happiness and you worked very hard for it. Last but not least: you made a decision that was right for you. Never forget that, but also never forget that it's okay to change your mind if you still have other options. I hope you enjoy your adventure wherever it takes you.
Thank you for talking about this. I had wanted to leave a comment asking about your intro but felt that you would share your story in time. I am approaching 34, and am in a similar situation. I always saw myself having a large family and still struggle occasionally with the fact this will never happen. You are both truly an inspiration ❤
At 34, unless you have medical issues (and even if you do, there are still options if you're determined), you still have the time to start a family if you want it. Don't let anyone tell you you're too old to be a mum.
@@YaaLFH In general that is correct. However, this comment is only part of an individual persons story. Unless you know Victoria and her whole story, you do not know the reason she says she will not have a large family. While we believe you meant to help, your advice was not requested and assumes she has not already considered the options available to her.
Thank you. Yes you are correct. I think people have the best intentions with their comments. Unfortunately many don’t realise it’s not as easy as “just adopt”.
@@bobbing_along You're right - I don't know Victoria's story, but that wasn't my point. I was referring to her age. We're still very often told that at 34 we're "too old" to pursue parenthood in whatever way is available to us. We're not. It wasn't meant as advice, just as a reminder that age on it's own doesn't have to be one of the reasons.
Bless you ❤Thank you for sharing your infertility journey, especially each of your individual feelings. Your future together will still be filled with love, happiness and joy. I’m a firm believer in, things happen for a reason. Who knows what our futures bring. Love the both of you 🥰
Hi you two, I was really moved by how you both so openly and honestly shared such a close and sensitive topic. Sending you both every happiness on your journey together. ❤
Big hugs to you both. I felt that was a very brave conversation that you have shared with everyone, very open and sensitively put, yet very rounded. Keep enjoying your journey, and I will continue to travel along with you from afar.
How would you deal with a situation where one desire changed? As in have you discussed/ emotionally prepared. I only as because you speak definitively, whilst mentioning you check in.
After spending several years processing our grief and coming to our decision, plus both of us are nearly 40, we feel pretty confident we won't change our minds. However, as it's a life changing decision we think it's important to check in. A change of heart would be huge and the possibility has been considered. We would need to do a lot of talking, and potentially attend therapy before moving forward, whether together or apart.

Thank you so much for these kind words, it really means a lot to us to hear this ❤️ sending you both hugs x
I never had children nor has my husband. It’s what happens in life sometimes. I’m happy y’all don’t stress about and have started a new beginning.
Thank you x
