Hey in arkansas on a Bodily injury claim the insurance adjuster is trying to request crash data from the owner of the vehicle that I was in a wreck with Can the insurance Adjuster or pro long and not process my claim until he receives that from the owner
The minimum SDM Recorded Vehicle Velocity Change, that is needed to record a Non-Deployment Event, is five MPH [8 km/h]. (SDM = sensing and diagnostic modules, basically uses an accelerometer)
@@alienwalk I believe the minimums are set by each manufacturer with 5pmh being stated as the minimum threshold requirement. Manufacturers can stipulate 2pmh if they like.
What if we need car crash data. Can you provide?

Thanks. Very useful information.
How big of the impact for this to activate and start recording? Would this activate for a small fender bender?

It has been proven that cars can be remote controlled (patented). Can the EDR pick up whether an accident was caused on purpose by remote control?
dont think so, remote controlled cars are way too rare for it to be worth them to program that in
