The plaintiffs are trying to stop the County commissioner's court from breaking up a majority-minority district, where Black and Latino residents make up 58-percent of the electorate. The lawyer fighting for the minority voters will be here to explain the case.
On this day in 2019, Roland Greene was viciously beaten by six Louisiana State Troopers. His mother, Mona Hardin, will be here to update us on her fight for justice for her son.
And 110 years ago, Mother Viola Ford Fletcher was born. Today, one of the remaining survivors of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre celebrates another year.

❤❤ my wife went full-term for the baby and the baby died inside of her. No heartbeat. Because of draconian anti-abortion rules and believe it or not the state of New York this was 1979. My wife had to wait five days before they could take the baby, it was a living hell for me and my wife. Especially my wife decisions about this should be left to the mother and the doctor and that’s it.❤❤❤
