not a medical expert but took some first-aid classes. alou might’ve suffered from a mild concussion since she stated that she couldn’t remember where they were headed and was confused. whenever the head is involved, it would be a big help if you keep them conscious, put cold compress to the head once you can, and have it checked by a doctor right away. ride safe, guys. get well soon also to alou!
Agree.. a mild concussion.. the part of the vid where they showed her torn shirt and shorts from behind shows how severe was the impact likely including the head slamming into the ground. TWO things: 1. from their comments the lopez members have ZERO? first aid training 2. they should have immediately recognized possible head AND neck injuries (concussion and/or spinal neck twisting at least) -instead of waiting for a vehicle to carry her home or a nearby clinic they encouraged the victim (alou) to get back on her bike?!?! and bike another 2.5 kilometers uphill to the tunnel, and finish the video production and itinerary- lastly chose to not seek medical help but have her sleep it off. (Definitely need basic first aid training on what to do and NOT do in the scene of an accident) 🙂🙃

Have her check (CT-scan) Any trauma to the head even she wore a helmet seeing a Doctor is a must. Injury sometimes won’t manifest in early stage after the crash. Monitor her and watch for signs of concussion. If she have headaches, vomiting, nausea etc. see the Doctor again for further check ups..glad she is ok.. tip: never underestimate the descents and even more when you’re not familiar with area.. Aira, did well on slowing down and breaking for a better control on the bike while descending. Get well Alou.. replace her helmet as well it’s done.. Happy holiday to Lopez family!!

alou is safe, ang nakakatakot lang sa cycling iyong sumemplang ka tapos may sasakyan na kasunod or sasalubong sa iyo. Dumulas si alou sa daan buti na lang may angel syang kasama. enjoy lang ang ride madam alou, walang famous na cycling na walang kwento pagdating sa semplangan.
Ay lodi reverse kasi ginawa nyo, dapat sa cavite kayo nag daan...pero bilib ako sa inyo sa fighting spirit grabeh, ako at mga kapadyak ko di namin inisip i try yang daan nasugbu to Kaybiang tunnel...wow!
