- I recently found a phenomenal tempered glass PC case, the Sama Neview 4361. Very high build quality, great price, and super roomy interior all while looking fantastic. Be sure to check it out if you are in the market.
Good review. Just wanted to point out you can change 3 pin fan speed in your bios, just change it from PWM to DC. The only difference is DC will run at the constant speed you set it at. It won't rev up and down like a PWM can. That's still really nice that the fans are 3 pin and not molex like those garbage DIYPC case fans, because those can't be adjusted at all
Awesome job explaining that, great to know! Molex is trash.
THIS!!! 100% agree with you here. Also worth mentioning that the DIYPC Q10 Mid Tower ATX has SATA fans for power. It's still not 3 pin DC or 4 pin PWM, but at least you can use PSU's that do not have molex connectors. But again, it will still run at full speed with SATA or Molex since there is no way to control the speed.
Funny you mention that, I just bought that very case for my next flip! It'll be featured in a future video!
We need 2 of the included fans to be reversed.
Thanks for the great review. You covered all the things that I would have asked about the case. Noting that the hub did not support PWM was especially useful information. For $68, it looks like a contender!
It is definitely well worth the price. I could easily picture using it myself for a personal build in the future. Thanks for watching and go pick one up!
For anybody wondering, this seems to be US only, a identical case for other markets is the itek showbui 42w
@@BMVGameIt is it the exact same case?
@@CasualTechReview yeah looks like it lol
@@BMVGameIt interesting, wonder why they would rebrand it like that.
Good video. Wanted to check to see if the ARGB was controlled via case before buying, looks like I'm good. Would have been nice to see you cycle through some of the colors.
Yep, there is a fan and argb hub which has its own switch next to the power button. The lights on the fans looked really good, I highly recommend the case!
Nice case, just curious, What rgb options does the led button from the cases panel give you? Like what type of colors, or patterns if thats changeable.
@@envyhound it's got all the basic ones, and probably 20 or so other options. I can't remember off the top of my head.
@@CasualTechReview thank you!
Nice video thanks. I got one of these would have liked to got a black one. Black was sold out. I got the white one and maybe it will end up being better for what I got planed for it. I am going to do a theme build in mine. I did one in a duel chamber fishtank case and it turned out great. Just to wide. this case seem to be about right to set on a desk. I just do not see anyone using a fishtank case to set on the floor. I think they would go for a max air flow case. These are Super heroes and gaming characters theme build display cases. Like posters they make a statement.
@ardithconley2628 very cool! It's a great case you won't be disappointed. I personally like white better myself, I think you'll end up liking that too!
if i wanted to add 3 fans to the case would i be required to get a fan hub?
Nope, it comes with one when you buy it.
@@CasualTechReview thank you very much for replying
@josiahranghill7147 of course. It's a great case, let me know if you have any more questions!
This is literally the Phanteks XT View / Thermaltake 270
You aren't wrong, many cases borrow design and function elements from others. I liked this one for what it is and the value it provides.
I work at ups, the box has nothing to do with the driver or his truck. The packages get loaded into semi trailers for transport, and they get loaded tf down. It could have been on the bottom of the stack.
@jordangoodman77 interesting, makes sense. Luckily the packaging was stout enough that there was no damage.
@CasualTechReview yeah it can be chaotic at UPS. But the packages are loaded on the truck for the driver and he just carries it to the door. My center sends out 25,000 packages roughly every day, and they get unloaded and loaded onto the trucks In around 4 hours. Sometimes the belt can get clogged and packages get pushed into each other and fall off, etc. I definitely spend more effort to safely package items after seeing how it all works.
@jordangoodman77 like anything else I suppose, once you see how the sausage is made. Thanks for the info!
what is that cpu cooler? or the temps of the pc
That was an AMD Wraith Cooler on an R5 3600. I painted the outer shroud white. The Wraith still performs fine on the 3600, but I sold that months ago and I don't recall the exact temps.
why do you only have stick of ram in your system.
Accident on my part, bought 16gb and thought I got 8x2. It actually ran pretty well as it was.
What are the dimensions of the case box?
The cardboard box? 20"H x 20"W x 12"D
@@CasualTechReview Thanks so much!
does the msi b760 fit in it
It fits up to an atx size motherboard. As long as what you have isn't eatx, you will be fine.
i bought this and the case came dented😡
Oh that sucks! Should be easy to return though, i just purchased another to use for a new flip.
Great video! and awesome PC Case. I may have to give this a try! Thanks again for this video!
Appreciate that, thanks for watching!
Can you adjust ARGB from a software on PC or can it only be controlled from the button on the case?
@djglowmusic you can connect the fan hub to the motherboard with a 3 pin 5v argb connector, if your motherboard has the correct header. If so, you can download a bunch of different programs to try change the lights. Not every motherboard has the proper header, or some people prefer the simplicity of the button.
😒👍 also checkout the Okinos Aqua 3
Yeah I saw that case recently, it's like an mAtx version pretty much. Only thing I don't like is no side or front intake fans.
@@CasualTechReview 🙂 yes, its extra short, i picked up one for one of my bedrooms, its really cute, it feels almost ITX, its good for itx boards or lower tier stripped down matx boards that are undersized with only two ram slots, good for video cards that are low tier single fan or undersized two fan cards, i recommend it if you need something small
@@MrSamadolfo ok cool, I'll be sure to check one out when I get the chance. Thanks!
@@CasualTechReview 😇 your welcome, when im not feeling lazy i'll make a quick smartphone video of mines
I have a feeling the Montech XR is going to be even better than this one.
@atomiczombie22 we shall see, going to be doing a review of that case soon!
what conections are used by the case from the motherboard? The case is not on PC Part Picker and I'm having a hard time figuring that out. Thanks in advance!
I'm probably just an idiot, but what exactly are you asking? The case cables are standard, Audio, USB, LED, Power etc.
@@CasualTechReview I was just wondering the cables mainly for the fans (what connecter does the controller have), of course audio, led, power, and usb. My bad. I should have asked that instead. Great review tho, one of the best cases, especially for a flip.
@@akalchickering8165 the fan hub supports 3 pin fans. You should be able to change their speed in the bios, just not as variable as you go like with the 4 pin.
the argb fan hub do i connect my sata cable to the bottom then connect the "led sw" to my argb header on motherboard and would that make the fans and rgb work?
@lndmvt3055 correct, with the exception of "led sw". Connect that to your front panel header instead of the "reset sw". Thatll allow you to change the rgb with the reset switch.
@@CasualTechReview thanks a bunch. does this mean i dont have to connect the 3 pin fans into my motherboard since its a fan hub powered by sata?
@@lndmvt3055 If you want to use motherboard software to control the lights, then plug into the 3 pin output from the fan hub into the motherboard. If not, you will just be able to use the reset switch.
i just got the version 2 of this case and the fan hub is confusing me, ive connected the sata, 3 argb, and what looks like a 4 pin pwm (its labeled pwm) so i connected that to the chasis_fan 1 and when i post fans dont spin and and the lights in the fans are red. but everything esle works and it post, just having trouble with is fan hub.. help would be greatly appreciated
@SpzOddishy hmm I don't have any hands on experience with the version 2. Aside from it being faulty, best thing I can say is if you wouldn't mind join the discord server and you can post up a photo of the hub so I can at least take a look at it. Hard to give a great answer without some more details.
@@CasualTechReviewwill do a bit later, im exhausted trying to figure this out thanks!
@SpzOddishy no rush, troubleshooting can be frustrating.
@@CasualTechReviewsolved the issue, ive tried putting the weird 2 wired pwm fan on cpu fan, then other chasis fans on mother board to no luck, decided to just leave it unplugged and now it runs. cheers now to install windows
@SpzOddishy Yay! Sometimes trial and error is the way.
🙂 Amazon sometimes sends me the pc case box inside an amazon box, if the box is almost perfect I keep the box in the attic to store my stuff and goodies
I haven't ordered too many cases from Amazon, usually get them from Newegg.
@@CasualTechReview 😊 i haven't really needed to order a case yet from newegg tho i always check what they got, normally i pickup cases from amazon or my local Microcenter or a local craigslist seller
Cool review, did you have a reset switch on your case?
@neo6362 yes, this case comes with a fan hub and reset switch you can use for argb.
@@CasualTechReview That's odd, because my case didn't. Then again, I had the black case.
@@neo6362 Yes, they both have the reset switch, you can hook it up to the motherboard to use it for restarting the computer, or you can hook it up to the fan hub and use it for the rgb. Just depends on which way you configure it.
@@CasualTechReview I don't have the reset switch, but I do have this LED switch that's stuck to this pin on the back of the case.
The fact that y70 snow white is almost 200 and doesn't include with all white cables like the fpanel is kind of embarrassing
Yeah it's definitely a nice feature when case manufacturers put the single front panel cable in there. My Montech King 95 has it, and it was appreciated during the build!
UPS literally gives zero fuches about their cargo (only because negative fuches are an imaginary number).
Haha it sure seems that way. Luckily the case wasn't damaged.
The Fan Hub ends with a 4pin connector? Or is also 3pin?
@@SnakeJuice 3 pin fan, and 3 pin argb.
Not bad. People need cheaper options and I think this could be it for many. Can't keep my eyes off the solo stick of ram though 😂. Thanks for a great review.
Yeah I agree, you get alot for your money with this case. Solo ram stick was a purchasing error on my part. Could have sworn I got 8x2...
I like budget cases and I don't like going mainstream on builds. I get a lot of folks asking me for budget options and I've seen this case online. Almost pulled the trigger myself for it on a current build I planned out. But I decided to go itx instead. Your review will be shared for sure.
@IronFortitude much appreciated. I am definitely going to be using this case again as well. A small spoiler, but I sold this PC in just 2 days, and I think the case had alot to do with it.
Yeah I'm sure it has a good deal to do with it
BTW what were the specs for this PC?
I need an ATX case for my next build so this might do the trick.
You won't be disappointed. High build quality for the price, and looks tremendous.
Thanks for the review! Are those Lian Li fans included?
Yeah, they are included. They are no Lian Li but Sama's version of them. 2 intake a 1 exhaust come with the case
@@CasualTechReview Thanks. Do you know if the fans can be controlled by the L Connect 3 software that is Lian Li's software?
@@alirezajohari8916 I surely don't know, never tried.
Quick question. Is it me, or is that front glass panel hazy looking? Is it not the same clear panel as the main side panel? Also, are the 2 side fans reversed (meaning that they are intake)?
It's not just you, I left the protective film on there for the buyer to take off! And the fans are reversed, I thought they were backwards at first also. Nope, Sama did a great job with this case.
@@CasualTechReview Awesome! One other question if I may. For the three 120mm fans that can be mounted at the bottom, do you have to mount them with longer screws (like the ones used for radiators)? if so, how many of those screws does the case come with? Will need 12 for the three bottom fans.
@iTechtronicz it will take 12, but for the life of me I don't remember if it came with them. It might have, but I can't be sure. They aren't expensive though, can get them on Amazon for cheap.
On your video, you show the baggie of screws. But I can’t tell how many of them it comes with. I can for sure count 4 of them.
@@iTechtronicz I want to say it came with 12. I'll look over the video again and see.
THANK YOUUUUUUU
You're welcome.
where would i hook up the fan hub into?
@eem643 the motherboard will have "CHA Fan" for chassis fans or "SYS Fan" for system fans, same thing. Just plug the fan output into one of those headers.
@@CasualTechReview tysm, once i do that would the rgb work on its own? or would i have to plug it in the rgb headers
@eem643 the 3 pin 5v rgb connector goes into a separate header on the motherboard. Those are labeled differently and usually say "LED" or "ARGB". Just make sure you are using the 5v header and not the 12v.
@@CasualTechReview thanks
@eem643 absolutely. Drop another comment or join the discord if you have any more questions!
