What a delightful interview--her demeanor is great. The whole interview brought a smile to my face. And she is playing better and I am pretty certain that trend will continue as the season progresses and in the coming years. Lots of upside for sure.
Someone needs to tell Jana that when they go to Georgetown there is a food truck near the Washington Monument that has amazing Eastern Mediterranean food.
I love her drive to be great. When she says she wants her confidence back, it seems to me she means having some superiority over her opponents. It's a great thing when tempered with knowing it will take some time. Still, with that, her progress has been terrific. It took Ice nearly to the Conference tournament to be ready. Jana can do it now, and her low game is pretty good (ignoring one or two missed bunnies). Her bunnies are missed, in part, because she's tall, and the ball goes very high off the backboard. For someone like K.K. it would be quite low. When the ball is moving a lot and it's up high, there's more room for it to go off. Control the ball height off the backboard, focus, and everything will be good.
Saw Jana play at Marquette a few days ago and she was incredible. Very tough at the rim. Also her personality is endearing. How could you not root for her and this team?
SHE is showing that she is about to see the bright light at the end of tunnel -- HEY "A" BE SMART BE CRAFTY but LEARN TO BE SILKY WITH PLAY ----- a strong man lifts big weights with strength - yes- but a relaxed mind and a technique of making the lift nice and easy !!!!!!!!!!!!!! lay-up easy technique and a silky shot not time to be Ms. Muscle just be MS. Silk ! and 🤾
Jana is going to step up and dominate the paint now! What is going to get Jana to the next level is programing her sub conscious to believe she will, not can be the best Center in the Nation!
Geno knows how to coach her and bring her along, she’s getting better and better and her defense, rebounding and shot blocking will fuel her offense. UCONN basketball 🏀
I think she's one of the keys to the success of the team in the NCAA tournament. If she becomes a significant scorer and defender in the paint, the bigs on other teams will need to pay attention to her scoring and be defended better in the paint; it also frees up her team mates on the perimeter to do well/even better. I don't think Ice has the potential of becoming a force like Jana in the post.
Ball in hand no blinking or ball in rebound mode or on defense.... It is usually up to 5 seconds or just a little more... With near or hand in the face close only!!! Look the ball into the basket.... Take the foul and make the basket!!! You can do this. Most the Ladies you play against are not that experience... Even 3 or 4 year playing in the univ. system they are no bodies!!!
Footwork needs to improve, not falling away like Ice Brady does on shots. Stop trying to block shots, picking up dumb fouls. Olivia Ododa could play against lesser centers, but not against good centers. A DeBerry couldn't play at all. Don't be like them. You came to UConn to learn and be the best, listen to your coaches who have been there before you, and learn.

Love you Jana. Been a fan since I saw you in the FIBA championships. You're the real deal.
Nothing but upside here, great interview. Fun watching her grow, hope she can be a force in the post and as a shot blocker come tourney time…
We love you, Jana! We're thrilled to have you. You're going places. I know it.

Good head on her shoulders. Jana has such an upside. Can't wait to see what I know she can and will be.

Would not have predicted her starting instead of Ice, but she has had good spurts.🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀🏀

Good to hear a new reporter ask interesting questions…
You are going to be a force to reckon with. Just work hard. Good job !
In my personal opinion it’s just stamina as much as I would love to see Egyptian team Jana we won’t see her at her best til next season
Anyone who loves lobsters is ok by me.

She's in the right part of the country for seafood.
Someone work with her as a post. Catches and attempts to dribble. Just go right up for gods sake.
'for gods sake'? She scored seven points, had five rebounds and an assist in fifteen minutes against V.

She needs to be more physical , take it to the hoop..
