The anime didn't get canceled it had 3 seasons and is completed being very faithful to the source material. I watched the anime first then when I bought the box set everything was pretty much the same when I read it.
Bakuman was the first series that I ever read and if it wasn't for this series I wouldn't be as big a manga fan that I am now so it's very special to me 😊
I’m torn between this and an animating tablet. Me and my friends are planning on making an animated comedy skit which is just us screwing around talking about dumb stuff, and me and my friend would be the animators, and they’d be doing the talking. So should I watch the anime and then buy the tablet, or buy the manga and scrap the idea
I literally just got Vols. 18 - 20 today (5th February 2021) after ordering them on the 26th January, it sounds pretty crazy but I've been reading the series for about 9 Years as I first got Vol. 1 on the 11th November 2013

i now a place called halve price books were it's cheaper just to buy them singley then the box set and there in decent condition should I get it (in all no shiping 25$)
Wow, manga's at europe are more bigger than in Indonesia (i know they are cheaper) but look at those manga's and its have own boxset what great choice for collector
Bakuman! I watched the anime late last year, loved it so so much, I plan to get this box set sometime! I really like the cover art on the volumes! Awesome video man!
I reccomend the live action, Unlike most live actions, the bakuman movie is really well shot and really does emotional impact very well. I actually consider it as one one of my favourite Japanese movies. In the movie Nizuma is more of an asshole and really gives of off an antagonist vibe. The movie isn't 100% faithful, but it did what it did to make the story to work as an hour and a half long movie. It's really amazing and so inspiring. I reccomend it highly.
I think I read about 5 volumes yrs. ago. I think I stopped when one of the protagonists' girlfriends was auditioning for something. I lost interest after that. I bought the first 2 volumes on ebay recently and will have another go at it.

Honestly I would do that idea with animation first before buying a book set.
