I really like your choice of using wood. It gives the interior a cool vibe. Also, I have a saying, "If you can't make it out of wood, you don't need it!" 😃

I like the wood look and smell too, really comforting when I close the doors at night. Haha that saying sounds like an invitation to be challenged! I think of the mythbusters episode where Adam and Jamie made wheels for a car out of wood. Talk about doing burnouts lol... those tires WOOD literally catch on fire

I would have given 2 or 3 hands of sparurethane for exterior applications. While not exposed to the elements, it gives a nice finish and keep termites away...

I was fortunate to have many other Van builds before mine, to inspire my build, adding a few personal touches, of course!

very nice! I wish I had the equipment you have! My build is going to far less pretty, but it's only a weekender, for now, anyway!

Humble beginnings! Mine started as a weekender too, and it was very basic. I just put down a roll matt and slept on the floor. It was great because I could slide my kayak in the cargo area, and take it out at night to sleep in it. I was only using the van for fishing trips in Michigan back then. Then I decided to do this build. Anyways. Good luck with your Build, Craig!

Man what a great series, this is a wonderful conversion congrats. Other then the bed being a little small for two people what a great project. Take a look at this guys shelf as an addition in case due to weather you are forced to prepare food in the van. I thought it was pretty nifty. Thanks for sharing.
