But it's ABNB Corp. They make the rules to list on their platform so strict until you cant allow anything for fear of being banned and fined. There was probably small print that said no parties. It would've been ok to have the thing for the kids until the neighbors got involved. With that, the owner had to put them out to keep from getting fined and banned. I don't rent ABNB. I wish others would boycott them to make them change their rules for owners on their platform.

Started talking about my children who had nothing to do with it and went in the store for me. Thank God they didn't hear the hate coming out of his filthy mouth because they were in the store. I turned the other cheek and acted like I didn't hear a word he said, because I did absolutely nothing wrong. I'm a single mother. A widow. Also, place a claim with Airbnb asking them to investigate how many prior blk tenants have complained, they've kicked out, or have flat our denied hosting to. I would also report the address to their HOA. And Iet the airwaves knows who the Airbnb hosts are tht did this. And I would report the address to the local assessor's to ensure that their property appraisal's value is up tp date so tht their paying the updated tax amounts for all those neat upgrades they did to renovate the property and flex and rent to Airbnb. I rented an airbnb for my wedding on the leg in Lake Tahoe, multiple people were stopping by throughout our time staying there the people that watch the house were constantly watching the cameras and constantly calling me on my phone on my wedding day because there was multiple cars coming and going. I was like are you serious this is my wedding day and you guys are watching the cameras all day and have nothing to do because people are coming in and out of the house? I wasn’t having a party. We rented this house and we had our whole wedding party there. They knew everybody that was coming into the house, but somehow they made it a major problem, so I feel you!

Airbnb have several ANTI discrimination policies, this situation reflects badly on them. At the very least, you should be offered a full refund or vouchers, an alternative Airbnb or something to mitigate against the interruption to your stay. I hope your son is not too upset about this.

Same thing happened to me and my family on my son’s second birthday. The owners came back (white people) drunk very aggressive and said they smelled weed and said we were having a party also it wasn’t even quiet hours. Nobody had weed. There was no party. Only people that would’ve been staying was his two God parents we got the Airbnb for. It was quiet, no party anything. My husband complained to the Airbnb people and they took the owners side and banned my husband on Airbnb bc he wrote an honest review. Also the owners knew they were wrong so they gave us back a partial refund. They called the police two days later and tried to make a report and luckily a friend of ours was on the other line and asked them why did they wait so late to call the police and why do they all of a sudden feel threatened. Complete f******! 🤦🏽♀️ it sucks that the people making them money aren’t protected. I will never support another Airbnb again

I rented an airbnb for my wedding on the leg in Lake Tahoe, multiple people were stopping by throughout our time staying there the people that watch the house were constantly watching the cameras and constantly calling me on my phone on my wedding day because there was multiple cars coming and going. I was like are you serious this is my wedding day and you guys are watching the cameras all day and have nothing to do because people are coming in and out of the house? I wasn’t having a party. We rented this house and we had our whole wedding party there. They knew everybody that was coming into the house, but somehow they made it a major problem, so I feel you!
multiple people just stopping by? I would have been watching the cameras too. When our wedding party rented a house, we stayed there except for the actual afternoon of the wedding. There was no coming and going. Hell naw.

Day on her wedding day asking what’s going on with people coming and going when I’m trying to get ready for my wedding you have hair people make up people that’s bullshit! They were aware of this prior to me renting the house with six couples in that house they knew there were multiple people there! They were harassing me in my wedding day! If they knew all about this prior to renting the house that I was going to be getting married and having a wedding party, stay at the house and that was an issue of people coming in and out during the day of the wedding then they shouldn’t have rented us the house! Because I had family members that rented a house on the same street and they didn’t have any issues!

Sorry this happened to you and your family Fantasia, it IS what you think it is. Stand up for your rights, make a formal complaint and/or start legal proceedings. Airbnb have several ANTI discrimination policies, this situation reflects badly on them. At the very least, you should be offered a full refund or vouchers, an alternative Airbnb or something to mitigate against the interruption to your stay. I hope your son is not too upset about this.

Fantasia is definitely riding a huge, high profile wave right now, and this is a public relations disaster for them. So you know the African American turnout at the polls was really low. We had the opportunity to make history by electing our first African-American governor. Same thing happened to me and my family on my son’s second birthday. The owners came back (white people) drunk very aggressive and said they smelled weed and said we were having a party also it wasn’t even quiet hours. Nobody had weed. There was no party. Only people that would’ve been staying was his two God parents we got the Airbnb for. It was quiet, no party anything. My husband complained to the Airbnb people and they took the owners side and banned my husband on Airbnb bc he wrote an honest review. Also the owners knew they were wrong so they gave us back a partial refund. They called the police two days later and tried to make a report and luckily a friend of ours was on the other line and asked them why did they wait so late to call the police and why do they all of a sudden feel threatened. Complete f******! 🤦🏽♀️ it sucks that the people making them money aren’t protected. I will never support another Airbnb again
Sorry that happened to you. Honestly, I don't understand how anyone can stay in a stranger's home. I don't like the idea, because you never quite know what you're getting into. I much prefer hotels and other professional accommodations with a bona fide management team, that I can hold accountable if anything goes wrong.

Definitely probably was racially motivated. This happened to my family and I for 4th of July two years ago. Everyone in the neighborhood was shooting fireworks, and they called the police on US! Tried to say we trashed the house and everything. Thank God we had proof and photos to prove that we didn't. We fought it and won, but it definitely felt racially motivated to us as well.
