Awesome work. SWR should've made the TK-DVG line double since the commencement of the work. Also, the entire TK-DVG new line should've been made the main line, thereby reducing travel time of fast trains like Vande Bharat and the YPR-TK line should've been quadrupled as well

In near future, Tumakuru will be a major industrial hub and part of the Mumbai-Chennai Industrial corridor, it is very important to have good connectivity. However I am saddened to see there is no forethought of railways. All bridges and under passes are being constructed as Single line, it should have been double line enabled. Even though for now it is a single line, shouldn't they plan the permanent structures keeping future growth in mind?
Mentioned about sloped roof for urukere rly station. I think it is for solar panel installation, to power the station lighting & auxiliary loads; including S&T loads..

They should have gone with double line plus 180 kmph design speed.All the new lines in Maharastra except in ghat are designed for a top speed of 180 kmph.

The quality of work (leveling and other things) need to be drastically improved if not it will not support higher speeds and the upgrades 10 years down will be even more expensive. The leveling is so uneven also on fully functional double-electrified track. Additionally, this will result in poor ride quality.
I don't understand why a high speed mainline route that acts as a line straightening measure is being built as single track. Why didn't SWR surgery double track and build it at once? Sieht would've made it cheaper.

What kind of a joke is that. And then we Indians believe that we can take on China! Oh man, we Indians are impressively optimistic!!

Due to Steep Ghats and curves it cannot be constructed
At the present rate of execution of work, it will take another 8-10 years for completion of the whole length.
