Olè Henrickson WILL smell like orange. I have their C serum and it smells very orange. I lucked out and got the Iconic London big palette. Also got the Tula scrub, the Earth Minerals(?) serum, the Huda Beauty lipstick and the Ace Beautè brushes. I like MY box the best, lol!
Dear Katrina and Rachel, I was so happy with my beauty boost, and I received the Huda beauty EMPOWERED pallette and I wanted it since it first came out for her birthday last year. I think you both missed out on that but I would pick Rachel's box just because of the Tarte item, and the Purlissa in Katrina's box is very attractive, so I would have liked some different choices as well. Anyhow I hope you both stay positive, and thank you for the great content... I think 4 out of 5 points for both were the best reviews I've seen so far. I swear by Ole Henriksen. The citrus smell of the cleanser is amazing. Not overpowering. I picked it up in add-ons because it wasn't offered as a choice. The Huda Empowered palette is the November Boost item. I don't love the Huda Beauty liquid lip color or watery texture. I chose the HB lip pencil as well but it doesn't match the liquid lip. The Wander cheek palette and Tula pumpkin scrub were chosen for me. I also chose the KS serum as my boost and the Dew of the Gods scrub because there was nothing else.
I would picked Katrina's box. When I first got Ipsy I was thrilled with anything, but now after a few years it is hard to get really excited. At what I get.
I skipped this month and after seeing the products, I'm glad. I'm currently working through so many products, I'll probably take off a couple months before I start back up. I got that Dew of the Gods Qew scrub a month or two ago and I love it but absolutely HATE the packaging. It's difficult to get out, especially after the first use. You also don't get very much product, which is disappointing. But the product itself is really nice and makes your skin feel amazingly soft and hydrated. I just wish it came in a jar instead.

For Rachel, for your matte lipstick, u can put a gloss over that lip color to make it shiny if u prefer shiny to be able to be able to wear ur new lipstick by Huda. Just put a clear gloss over it or a color that is close to it. Just a tip.
This is a hard one. I think it may be a tie. The only reason I’d lean more towards your box is the Wander Beauty palette. I enjoy the brand with mature skin. 💖💖
I decided to opt out of this box. I'm waiting for the Icon box for November. I know I would've loved to try the Tula and Byroe products. I love Tula's cooling eye balm that comes in the blue packaging. I'm interested in Ole Henrikson as a brand as ive tried their Acne control line, but that dried my skin out really badly. Love Huda Beauty, but the liquid lips are almost too drying for me. Sounds like this month was a good one to opt out of.

The OFRA Miami face palette...I like ...I chose the HUDA lip in trophy wife ...the earth harbor vitc which is amazing I LIKE IT BETER THAN CALYPSO .. then I got the hair mask because I didnt see anything else bit it's fine I wish i woyld have got those brushes i heard they performed better than everyone expected...then my booster I picked the hair oil by sutra it is 90$ and I really like it ...they never have the trio one in the shop in that size so I got it but NEXT MONTHS BOOST IS THE EMPOWERED PALETTE BY HUDA THATS A GOOD ONE FINALLY ❤I WISH I WOULD

The clear Calypso bottle with dropper is confusing me: I just checked online and the best packaging for Vitamin C is an opaque (dark) bottle to avoid oxidation. UV is not good for the product. Also make sure air can’t reach the serum, airless pumps are the best to preserve your vitamin C. Is this a different formula (stabilized?)? How do we know the product actually will have a working ingredient after two weeks of using?!
Hey beautiful ladies. Katrina I have found that the two power picks you received a lot of people received the same two items as their power picks. So I don’t believe that goes on everyone’s personal profile. I am not happy with the Wander Beauty Blush and Bronzer palette. There is NO Way that palette is good for every skin tone or skin color. I don’t like it at all. It’s not very pigmented either. I feel that Wander Beauty has always just been a miss for me. I don’t like anything I have received from it. But that’s just my personal opinion and from my personal experience. The Tula exfoliator is a good one. Rachel your power picks were good. That BYROE serum I have heard and read good things about it. And the OLE HENRICKSON cleanser I have also heard a lot of people raving about it. And that it is such a huge size is crazy. Most people use it in the morning for that extra little burst of Vitamin C. I agree with you ladies it’s not overly exciting to me either. Both your boxes were just a meh 😑 for me. Now that boost item is off the charts! I picked it too Katrina because I have loved Kat Somerville’s products and they are all pretty pricey. My picks by Boxy/Ipsy were crap, and my 3 choice items werent good at all either. Getting tired of getting Iconic London palettes. And im not fond of Wander Beauty or Earth Harbor. Ive had the Huda lippie u have and it ws super drying on my lips. I like Ipsy and Boxy when they were separate. Eversince they combined theyve sucked. Im on the fence of quitting my subscriptions. Which is a bummer since ive been with them both for about 6 years.

I absolutely love the Byroe serum it is great it feels a bit oily at first but soaks into the skin so good love it

We do that so the camera focuses on the product when we show it. If we don’t hide then the product shows up blurry
