The Vanillite line wouldn't have been anything more than a fakemon set either. I don't remember their exact origin, but they come from an American fan/artist who may have won a design contest that got them into the game... Again, I'm not totally sure of this "contest" having actually taken place, but the artist who created them being American is a certainty. I don't particularly dislike them since Ice type Pokemon are few, and barely have more than one entry per gen, but they do get a lot of hate from fans in general. I don't love em', but I do feel bad that they are so disliked. (I'm not even sure what the little snow cones did to deserve such widespread dislike; Vanillite is kinda cute after all.)

A year or two ago I came across a Fakemon that I really liked, but I haven't been able to find it since then. It was just so adorable! Body type was vaguely like Lickitung, but it had a lure on its head like Lanturn. The lure was shaped like a Pokeball. I could just imagine that existing in the Pokemon universe. I've tried to find it again, but none of my searches turn up.

Nice video! My Top 10 suggestion/idea would be for attacks that don't exist but should(Fire-type version of Aqua Tail, Steel-type version of Poison Fang, Electric-type version of Blaze Kick, physical-attacking version of Tri-Attack, physical-attacking version of Hidden Power, etc.).
Here are the designs that I liked or peaked my interest:
dragon thing at 6-7 seconds(if drawn better or differently it could look cool), at 7-8 seconds, griffon evolution line at 15 seconds, at 35 seconds, at 1 minute, Dashning: Electric/Dark, Luphaterasu and Leomidas(Leo plus Midas with the Golden Touch) might be neat, maybe the Ice wolf, and maybe the Fire/Fairy types at the end.

Top 10 Pokémon Variations. This would be amazing.
I really liked Astronomy in school, so I'd love to see a Pokemon based on like a sun with a planet orbiting it or something. It could be maybe change its typing like Rotom and Castform and Arceus, depending on what orb it's holding, changing the original little 'planet' orbiting it. Like Rotom and Castform, it's limited on what types it can have- Ice, Fairy, Grass, Fire, Electric, Dark, Earth, Water, and Psychic. Or something. It's primary typing would probably be Normal, of course, without any orbs attached, and it would gain meme status as the Sailor Pokemon because... honestly that sounds like what might happen. Would probably have a signature move that changes type depending on the user, and is probably not a fantastic move. It'd be a novelty Pokemon more than anything.
You know what would be quite the challenge for you? A Top Ten for Fakemon that AREN'T based on animals, but rather on objects or phenomon, like Magnemite or Drifloon or whatever :3

Hey Tricky, because I am Greek and love Ancient Greek history, I would like to let you know about Leomidas. It seems you didn't get the reference but when I saw it, I knew straight away what the Pokemon was. It is based off of King Leonidas, the Ancient king of Sparta, he was not only a great leader but he was one of the strongest warriors at the time and his dynasty was said to have been descendants of the great Hercules. If you are as interested in Ancient Greek history as you say you are, I suggest you do some research about him and other things that happened in Greece around his time. Also you should watch 300 because it is about the war he was involved in if you have not already and also Immortals because that movie was about the ancient greek gods.
I have a few ideas for a new top 10 series: Top 10 Fakemon Fusions; Top 10 Cutest Fakemon; Top 10 Animals That Should Be Pokémon (I know you've made a vid but there are so many animals out there that I don't see why not); Top 10 Beautiful Pokémon (I mean there are 1000's of Pokémon). This about it really. Hope you like one of my ideas! :)

Hi Trickywi, this is a fakemon that I came up with it is a grass and Fariy type Pokemon called Gracey. It is very timid around humans and it will take a while to fully gain it's trust. sorry I don't have a drawing for it

I couldn't draw to save my life, but I imagined an alternate evolution for Ponyta, which is a pegasus, and it would, of course, be a fire/flying type. Rapidash and this pokemon would share the same mega evolution: a winged unicorn that is a fire/fairy type.
