Franciscan Vows: Poverty

There are three Vows that all Franciscan Friars take. These are poverty, chastity, and obedience.
Today, Fr. Chris is with us to discuss the vow of poverty. Poverty does not mean to have nothing. Rather, it means to live without anything of one's own. But it goes deeper - what are the parts of our lives that we do not want to totally rely upon God?
Poverty is connected with trusting that God that He will provide for you.
This week, practice putting your trust in God that He will provide for you.
