Good Hair is NAPPY too! Part 1: Oh! my nappy hair salon's discussion

After being interviewed, then edited out of the documentary , Chris Rock's 'Good Hair' movie, Oh! my nappy hair salon owners felt that some very important information had been left out.. As pioneers in the natural hair care industry, they felt a major part of the answer to the question, What is "good" hair ,was never answered. Oh! my nappy hair salon in Atlanta host a forum that examines the origins of the term "good hair" and it's real definition.

Humans are such wonderful beings in our diversity rather than our similarity. It's a pitty that a lot of black women still straighten and their natural hair under the pressures of recent european cultural expansion. Who is to say that anything is better or worse? I am happy with my natural straight hair and so should people with their natural curly or wavy hair be. Kids should never be told they have bad hair, we are beautiful just the way we are.
