@@ninjacortadordecebola1215 kinda true you can learn to sing the notes but Anthony is as high tenor as they come so unless your in rare few who are natural high tenors who can shit out these high notes you'll never get this pitch and tone. You've got to have a natural high tenor larynx and cord length.
I would not be the person I am today without this band. They were there in the worst times of my life, and are with me in the best times of my life. I couldn't thank them enough.
reguarding the celebrated voices in music his should definitely be one of the more unique. like they are still listened to and adored by fans all over, but not to the entire demographic that it should be at considered mumble rapprs are making millions of dollars for saying 3 actual words durring a "song" but bands like circa are still unknown by tons of poeple, which isnt right.
@@ttngeo7494 You can say that again. Hardcore, punk, alt rock (which includes post hardcore and such) are historically anti-establishment and often anti-capitalist, so it makes sense that our fucked up world would reject artists like this on a commercial level. They thrive in the underground though. Thank God the internet became a thing when these bands came out or we wouldn't know about most of them and many wouldn't exist.
Hahahaha yeah i'd figured that would be your response xD personally i'd go with the tan telecaster, not the red one. Those new teles tend to sound better from what i've seen & heard. But thats just my opinion.
@mikeshinoda @LinkinPark If there is another benefit concert or anniversary tour in the future, Anthony Green should be considered, first for a jam session and see how it goes. He has splendid vocal technique, vocal range, a very particular voice, incredible talent, stage presence and charisma.
Listen to this song, can’t believe it’s real. Look up a live version. Immediately realize how spectacular it actually is. This is the holy grail. Jesus, his voice😅
Haha....MySpace. I always wondered why this band used telecasters as part of their guitar sound. It's a weak guitar for distortion/heavier songs. Jazz masters or jaguars would be a great alternative for this band if they favoured Fenders.
If you dig deep you will find the pickups of the guitar are almost the only thing that affects audible tone. So if he plays a dual humbucking guitar normally and plays a dual humbucking tele, no one is going to hear a difference. The prototypical thin tele sound has to do with the traditional single coil pickups. There is a good RUclipsr who made a video where it was just the bridge, tuners, and pickups of another guitar and he made it sound identical. Tonewood etc doesn't matter on an electric guitar. Wish it did because I've spent thousands of $$
How the fuck does he keep pitch so well omg what an unappreciated voice he deserves so much more attention I mean who is singing this clean live
I used to 😂
he does is so well live its crazy
There is tenor, then there is an aneurysm, and then there is Anthony Green's voice. I'm overwhelmed everytime.
The "Hasn't found his balls, and never will" tenor
L
These tenor guys are so lucky. I love that sound that they get.
@@Oh_its_Mike i mean anyone can get the sound with training :P

Anthony: Get OOOOOUUUUUT!!!!
Headphones: My boy, I'm Out!
hats off to the drummer, awesome sense of rhythm and mood of the song
Anthony literally always on point. But we also have to give it to the band. Circa survive is so good
Anthony Green - That man's voice is so powerful.
That was so fucking clean.
unreal...this band should have been huge
they were, for the scene at least
I would not be the person I am today without this band. They were there in the worst times of my life, and are with me in the best times of my life. I couldn't thank them enough.
Anthony greens voice is so soothing to my soul
I cant believe bands this all around talented fly under the radar un-noticed... sad.
I don't necessarily agree with you that Circa is under the radar.

He just said "Locked myself up in a room, without a window, just to see if it was any easier for me BUT I was wrong."
That hit tho
Anthony Green: GET OUTTTTTTT
Me: Aight Imma head out
I love it when Anthony changes the lyrics live.
Haha he said meatball
To hell with the editor of this video. Sub par. Missed all the good stuff and creative possibilities. Badass recording.
Superb performance by the band. Love it 🤘
Can't tell which Tele I want more...
Why not both? :D
Peter Parker Nigga how much money you think I make?

Teles with two humbuckers are completely awesome. I bought in 2013 a Fender blacktop (Anthony has one) and it's pretty rad and really cheap. :D
2023 🥺❤️ still listening
Eu tô de cara com a voz desse mano!!! Muito foda!
daniel radcliffe is such a good singer
Vocals will always take me back here.
Holy f*ing cow what a voice!
really a breathtaking when he reach 'get outt!!!'

Absolutely
What a bad asss bass dist , it sounds as hell!
Anthony Green is a really great singer. Notes are spot on. Are they using pitch correction? I hope not.
Raffy De Ocampo no, you can pretty clearly hear examples of pitch corrected vocals on Taking Back Sunday any time you see them live:(
There's technology to do that in real time? I do know that band has two people singing in many of their songs.
I saw TBS this summer and can assure you when I saw them at least, they most definitely did not use pitch correction.
atoxicthorn because they’re terrible live right?
Jubach yeah, they could use a pedal live to correct pitch
Mito de mais o Anthony Green, tanto saosin quanto circa, só pedrada... Lenda, só sons nostálgicos...
holy f- the vocal!!
i love the new english accent "yestaday" in the first line!!
2024 here and we have welcomed the new greatest vocalist of Dayseeker who has 1 upped Mr. green
This really needs more than 581 views.
Hey. 10 years later: im watching at 185k views. Still massively underrated.

@@Ocidadand here i am replying to people who watch this video in 2023 🥹🤌🏻❤️
This performance is fucking killer
God I love the drummer.

At the drive In Legacy ❤️

the guitar just wasn't as interesting at that point.
pure passion
Amazing performance!
i love the look he does at 2:41 after he screams ...it's like, holy fuck!! lol
That's an E note in the fifth octave.
Underrated

Those fucking fry screams my god.
DEF NOT THE OTHER ONE!!
@lastyears anthony sings things differently sometimes when theyre performing
Because you're getting exhausted during live shows lol
We were all driving to my place. Yeah! There don, sue, cs, and u
He sounds like Axl Rose on helium haha. Great performance
Dumi the Great no offense dude but in my opinion he sounds nothing like axl rose
Ew no.

Geniouses.
Oh fuck yes!!
uhm... who disliked this?
They need to get out.

Always. What makes them timeless properties of beauty in our existence to this planets existential history.
xD he messed up his own lyrics that's great. Fuck they're so good ;^; 💕💕💕
Cheerio maria I think it just adds character to live performances. Makes it fun lol
parece que estuviera cagando...XD Antonhy Green excelente ejemplo!
holy....

@lastyears I believe he says "but"...
😍😍😍
Holy fuck man! Live session ❤️
I'm getting Mars Volta vibes.
Dude, this is completely unreal. Anthony Fucking Green should be his legal name.
@lastyears Sounds like he says 'meat ball'. hahaha.
Who knew Daniel Radcliffe could sing this well?
1:13 "if it was any easier to meatball" 😁
idk if this guy has a daughter but if she and cory taylors son were to have a kid......the neck strength would be legendary
why did myspace die?
😢😢😢
Facebook killed it
holy... i thought the singer is female when i listened to this song
jakjaja suena igual , ta bien zi oe

MySpace was better then facebook…

How is Anthony flawless?
Big Willie Style I’m sure he’s not without his own competition :)
When did Zac Efron start singing for a band?
Ha. I was thinking the same thing...Glad I wasn't the only one.
My cat didn’t enjoy this.

El cantante no pega con su voz, no?... El grupo brutal !
Juan Carlos Ferrández Mollá Pega todas de hecho, mejor que en el estudio. Al menos en esta versión.

0:55 metallica riff there 🤪
Lars was in the studio
Just saw them last night, and I'm sad to say Anthony Green can no longer sing like this.
yeah he can lol

@@NahzBio117 just saw him with Sound of Animals Fighting a few months ago and whatever he’s been doing to warmup and take care of his voice is working

This video/song would be enjoyable if it looked like Ekstrom even remotely enjoyed playing this song...why so lame?
im not digging the auto tune tho :(
auto tune? lol
That's how much range he has. It's not auto-tune.
you can def here the pitch corrector.....
There is for sure auto tune on this. every note he sings is perfect, and as good of a singer anthony green is, he's not THAT good
Garret Karlsen I'm sorry to inform you, but he is that good. Especially when he's standing still and not jumping around on stage like usual.
